- It’s time for bars & risers on our 2021 Low Rider S! One of the key components of getting a bike setup properly - proper handlebar setup is critical. In this video we’ll take you through all of the components we selected for this build, talk about why we’re using each, and give you some tips & tricks to get the install done.
In addition to doing the bars & risers, we’re also tackling all the related components that go along with them - wiring, lines, cables, turn signals, mirrors, levers and grips. Those are the cleanest turn signals. I just got done recording a video doing this on an early Dyna. I had to dig the the wires through the frame and de-pin the hand control connectors. Used some string, tape and a vacuum to pull the wires through T Bars. Also filed down the clutch perch and master cylinder assembly to allow for internal routing of the turn signals. Really glad I watched till the end, Im going to have to get those mirrors.

I have the exact same color of bike and exact same Krause bar / Krause 6” straight riser/ hart grip set up. Only difference I did were Rizoma mirrors and custom dynamics led lights.
FYI.
Harley has a huge option of the 2 piece clutch cable. Easy as cake.
I wasn’t able to catch what length the upper brake cable and clutch cable length you guys used.. I just ordered those risers in a 10” & the moto bars and you guys figured out the perfect length already

great video. Any specs/info on the nylon wire loom you used? Diameter, where you purchased, etc.
It's 1" braided nylon. You can get it on Amazon...
How much riser could you do without extending the clutch and brake line?
Got my kit from Krauss. Trying to run wire and there are only two small holes at exit on each side (where the wires come out to connect to bike). I noticed that your bars have a larger hole in the center where the wires come out. Did you have to machine that? It looks like if I run the wires to the holes I have they will be covered by the bottom of the riser.

What size risers are those?
So instead of a +6 (the difference between stock bar/riser setup) you went with +4 magnum clutch and brake cables?

With the way Harley does their clutch cables now, why can’t you just replace the top portion of the cable (disconnect at the little plastic thingy) to accommodate the extra height vs replacing the entire cable?
I have a 2021 Harley Davidson Low rider S in which I am doing the exact same setup What was the exact length of Clutch cable and Upper and lower Brake lines that you ordered from Magnum? Any Info you could give me would be greatly appreciated
What exactly are the brake and clutch lines that you have i have 21 fxlrs and im lookin to raise my bars but im not sure what to buy on magnum shieldings site i have 6.5” risers with 1.5” pullback i just dont know what to buy and would rather have to order it once instead of twice

What’s up boss great build .. I got a question I bought some sport glide bags for my low rider s 21 but I don’t have keys to the locks .. where could I get new locks and keys for bags ? And I also need the small mounting bushing that attaches to the bottom of frame and to saddle bag supports where would I get that also ? Any info would help thanks pal

Great video man! If for some reason the risers or slightly crooked. How do you fix that?
Just loosen the riser bolts and straighten them out - then tighten. There's play in there, so they can go on crooked if you don't line them up. Good luck with it!
@@IronAnchorCycles thanks I did that and also loosed the clamp bolts. They lined up I just had to move the bar a little over to the left.
I'm still waiting on the cruise control I ordered for my 21 fxlrs in December of 21, it's March of 23 and still hasn't shown up yet. Unbelievable
Can heated grips and cruise control be added to this bars and risers set up? Thanks
Cruise control yes, heated grips are not compatible with the FM bars.

Excellent vodeosnd thank you. As far as bar concerns, you mentioned this moto bar is from kraus. I know kraus does not produce but uses other brands as supplier. Do you know what brand this bar is? It looks so sick!!!
