the big deal with bags and trunks has always been the helmet issue. for a long time back in the day they made small and slim bags and everyone demanded helmet size bags and trunks. not a bad thing , because what's the point in a bag that only fits a tshirt lol
Blockhead, I gotta say you're an inspiration. I bought my first bike because of your videos. Rode a 2005 Roadster for a year that i only paid $2000 for, and then Harley gave me $1500 and I went with a 2020 Iron 1200. (Yes I know, but I love the Sportsters as I commute with it after selling my car). Mine has Red accents all over it so I call it Red Riot. You've been in my garage with me and helped me customize my bike to where it's my own like no others, and it feels pretty good and i take pride in it. keep on doing what you doing, man.
@@An_Enraged_Pig They got their product numbers by how many 12 ounce cans the bags could hold. CB4800V3 = 48 cans. CB5500V3 = 55 cans, etc.. I was told this is not a weight max, but a volume measurement. Either way, pretty impressive.
3 points of tiedown. Always the best, for any trip even if it is for T-P at Target. I really hate it when the TP rolls are not round. Maybe it is just me though. Why not keep the sissy bar too? Helps keep your TP round. When you strap it down.
Highly recommend Viking Saddle Bags. Got a set on my 2020 lowrider s and I love them! They look and work fantastic. Working at a Harley dealership my bike gets a lot of attention and haven’t done really anything other than throw the bags on and got a stage 1
I am super excited to see your future trips! I hope we get to see you venture through the mountains of Colorado and more deserts like Utah and such! I'm going on a ride from Texas to New Mexico, Colorado, Utah and Wyoming on my sportster. Super stoked!
His outro was us going into the bag. Wonder what he felt like filming that and slapping the GoPro into the bag. He Probly smacked the bag and was like man, this is gonna be a sweet outro. Lol
Nice looking bags ! I've been looking at Viking Saddlebags... Because I have a Metric Cruiser and not many options (that match style of my bike)... I got tried getting your crash bars again not for metric Blockhead BIKE Build 🙏 save me from my Sazuki Blvd .... @Blockhead I just received Custom Sissy Bar from Etsy, it's HD style but welded to fit my ride perfectly looks awesome just a idea for new Sissy Bar Ride Safe
Do you have any videos of you ripping with that 131? I met a guy the other day who had a 175tq / 160hp FXDR zippers build and that thing was stupid fast.
I’ve been watching your channel a lot lately specially your video about getting rid of the cbr1000rr for the 2 groms. I just posted my 2018 cbr1000rr for sale to buy a 2022 Grom so I can get more financially stable and after I’m free of some debt Ill buy a Harley. I think I have matured past the crotch rockets and I’m at a point I just want to enjoy riding. So I want to thank you for the influence on the Harleys and Groms. And thank you for taking time out of your days to make this content.
I’ve gotten so much more enjoyment and fun out of the Groms than I ever did the CBR, great bikes! Thanks for the kind words and for watching the content, greatly appreciate it! 👊🏼
Just found you and the bunch of letters Brooklyn guy. I am new to Harleys myself but my whole family rides. Awesome bike I will be watching more of your stuff from now on!
If you look up Matt laidlaw he posted a video riding a low rider s that had them on there. I think he said it was about $3,500 after paint match and everything
I’ve got the detachable sissy bar and still scratched my fender because when I was taking it off to make sure it works. It swung as I was pulling it back and hit my fender. It’s hidden by the sissy bar when it’s on but I still know it’s there. I also have another scratch now on the top because trying to avoid back roundhouse kicking the sissy bar I kicked the top of the fender 🤦🏻♂️
great bags i had them on my wide glide but i suggest that you use some sort of dry bag to keep your gear in they are not waterproof bags. i used some large dry bags for the main compartment and some smaller ones for the outside bags. they worked really nice.
They do the job but the design is ... weird. I hope LeatherPros will reissue their XL Classic models for the Heritage. Still considering Sport Glide bags but the price is a no-go for buying new.
You’re obviously making money with patreon, UA-cam being sponsored but that fact you give some back to the community by bike giveaways is seriously awesome man.
When can we see the 131 and mt-09 or 600 do a roll on race? There isn't 1 video online. You've ridden both though can the 131 keep up or maybe even take them?
Can you do a video on buffing out scratches I just bought a brand new 2021 HD FLRS and it had a scratch on the tank 😑 it’s very frustrating for me and I want it fixed lol scratches are pretty superficial
I have a 2018 Harley Davidson Fatbob 114. I Live in Ohio and am taking a motorcycle trip in August to Glacier Pass in Montana and through many states in between on the way and back. Need recommendations for luggage. I have a sissy bar and Overwatch Dry bag already. Which bags would you recommend?
Has there been any thoughts spend on what to do with these bags when it rains? I myself am european so rain is pretty regular here and I noticed that no one has really talked about these bags being either waterproof or having rain covers, thoughts or tips to take care of that?
My only issue is unlike Harleys hard bags (I have an 06 ultra classic and love it! First bagger) there is no locks on this so if you keep stuff in them someone could walk up and just go through/steal hour stuff. I usually keep my bags locked if I have stuff in them
Hey I'm really interested in getting a bike but I dont know a whole lot about bike. Could you do a vid on what to look for when buying a used bike and also if small ape hangers are something I should consider for my first bike. Will the ape hangers affect the driving? Should I wait to mod out my future bike? I'm currently looking at a harley 883 so nothing to fancy just a small light weight bike. Thx much appreciated ChrisB
Well, nuts. Was hoping they had bags for metric bikes. I have Viking Bags on my Suzuki Boulevard right now. They've been good, but how they open is a little annoying. Makes stuff hard to get into them. Plus, I kind of want some bigger bags. The search continues!
Are these compatible with 2022 low rider s models? I’m looking Al over but can’t find any definitive answers. If someone already asked, sorry there’s a lot of comments
Yep I remember when you bought this bike and you said you wanted to take it to work keep the miles off your truck and haven't really heard much about that most your videos have been about upgrading it so really have you been riding it to work have you been keeping the miles off your taco?
That computer sound with the subscribe button scared the crap out of me. Wasn't watching screen and was like what?! where?! my phone going off the deep end? lol
Don't really care for saddlebags, but they are handy as a pocket on a shirt. I was a little skeptical when I first saw these, but they really seem to be great quality. Be interesting to see the follow up.
I was looking for a set of quick release bags and just when I wished you had video here it is great work as usual Also are those the Arlen ness compact turn signals I had some or my iron.1200 and was wondering if they would fit on a low rider
Wheres the love for the all leather ones. I haven't seen a single person who rocks the leather ones, it's all ballistic nylon. Besides the price is there a flaw that deters people? Also I recommend dean speed customs for a sissy bar. I just ordered a custom one with a Triforce, so stoked \m/
Nylon is probably less upkeep, leather that’s exposed to the elements, especially as much as saddlebags will be, would need to be cleaned and conditioned pretty regularly I’d expect. That’s awesome on the Triforce! ⚔️🔺
Love the videos! At the moment I have a 2003 Victory Vegas and I’m currently looking to purchase either a low rider s (bike in the video) or a road glide.
Marvelkid 87 made a video on these bags. He was able to put a full face helmet when expanded.

That’s always a great measurement test, haha
Bottles of whiskey would of been better..

99 bottles of beer on the wall went into Blockhead's saddlebags??? Lol...
I noticed that @hertwowheels is running the Leather Pros bags now as well, and really likes them.

I enjoy riding here

Hehe I only got 1 saddle bag on mine
These are exactly what I’m looking for. Just wish they were more budget friendly
I put off buying them for a year. Now that I have them, I don't know how I lived without them.

Do a tour of your tool boxes set up in garage and emergency tools away from home aka metal lunch box
Do you have to remove the stock tail lights in order to install these?
Primo, Def. look inton them.
Hello sorry the correct model of S&S air intake is mini or standard? ….thank you greetings from Italy
I have a 2019 heritage.
Honestly think the stock bags suck so I bought a pair of these.
Fantastic bags. 👍
They do the job but the design is ... weird.
I hope LeatherPros will reissue their XL Classic models for the Heritage.
Still considering Sport Glide bags but the price is a no-go for buying new.
I get that.
I'm taking my heritage in a club performance direction, so the style works with how she's going.
You’re obviously making money with patreon, UA-cam being sponsored but that fact you give some back to the community by bike giveaways is seriously awesome man.
Think you could stuff a backpack with 16 - 17" laptop in one of those and rain gear in the other ?
For sure!
Bagger block bro...NICE!
What’s the part number on these bad boys?? I cannot find the ones with the taillight cut out for my 2010 Wide glide.
Blochead used the larger chrome spacer but if you use the smaller chrome spacer it will fit tighter to the biker.
Wonder why he got the smaller softail ones instead of the full-size. Probably wanted to kee rear turn signals?

Do the zippers lock together to prevent someone from being able to just open the zippers like they have on suitcases?
I really like those bags
Are you planning some cool design for the new painting? Or just glosh black again

Bagger Block.. Nah.. Bagger Head.. Nah.. Bagger Boi Block.. definitely not.. Well just stick with Blockhead :)

Which bags would you recommend?
Hey man I got some stains on my stainless steel exhaust any recommendations??
will these fit a 21 FXLRS with stock turns or will I have to relocate them?
Are not locked to the motorcycle? So everybody can take them off at a rest stop?
Can you post link to next video loading the bad up please
Since your exhaust ends right under the bags: is exhaust heat an issue with these?

Looks like the ones Her Two Wheels put on her’s. Nice that you can take them off easily.
Because of this vid, I bought these bags for my new street bob.
The DD Kershaw knife is sick
High priced bags WOW! How does it do with rain or water? Did you give it a hose test?
how secure is that bike when it's on that stand? or do you have it strapped down somehow?
