Nice install ! I just came across your channel in my feed actually. I'm happy to support your efforts and those of other fellow moto content creators. I look forward to seeing and hearing more from you in the future ; keep up the great work and ride safe out there.
6.5 inch risers do not require longer cables. Clutch, brake, wires, everything will work as is. Going taller than 6.5 means lots of extra changes, clutch, brake, wires... the works. So if you're planning on doing as little work as possible and save some coin, use 6.5 inch risers.
@@originalgaragemoto I got OG 8.5” risers and OD Handlebar delivered for my 2024 Sport Glide. Could you please advise what cable length to get for the throttle breaks clutch controls? Thanks bro
I have a low rider S 2023 and I bought the brake and clutch cable, the turn signal and throttle cables and in your video I did not see that you put any of that and I only raised it 6.5 inches and you raised it more how could you do it without changing any of that
It's a Gearwrench Digital Torque Wrench 3/8 drive that can be found right here: www.gearwrench.com/all-tools/torque-products/torque-wrenches/85078-38-flex-head-electronic-torque-wrench-angle-10-100-ftlb
It's pretty tight with the stock cable but can be worked in, only with the 6.5'' risers. Else, a cable extension is mandatory. I would still suggest extensions if you don't want to hassle around with the brake one.
Torque the riser’s bolt (1/2”-13) to: 30 ft-lbs. This torque can be adjusted to rider’s preferences. If you are using polyurethane bushing, the more torque you apply, the stiffer the risers will be. Here's the installation guide: cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1799/2027/files/OG_Risers_Installation-1.0.pdf?v=1694454626
For the 6.5" risers it can fit but it's tight. We've done the installation without changing any cables. And no we don't sell the extensions, but you can grab them at Guerilla Cables.

Great video . Will be doing that set up on my ST
Right on!
Just ordered a set of 8.5s with pull back along with the tracker handlebar for my FXFBS.Can't wait to get it on
Thanks for your trust and support!
Guys can a 1 1/4 bar be used with your risers?
Yes sir! A 1 1/4 bar will fit perfectly
Regarding the clutch/breaks/control cables, what length did you get with the 8.5”?
@mouyedabdelgabbar1010 I can't remember.The bike was traded in April
Clean installation. Looks good.
Thanks 👍
Did you not have to get longer brake lines and clutch cables?
6.5 inch risers do not require longer cables. Clutch, brake, wires, everything will work as is. Going taller than 6.5 means lots of extra changes, clutch, brake, wires... the works. So if you're planning on doing as little work as possible and save some coin, use 6.5 inch risers.
On this particular installation, on a low rider s, the extensions are not mendatory for the 6.5'' pull back risers.
This information is good to know. I will be placing an order soon 😂

Need this for a road glide with nacelle 🤘
I made a riser to mount to those risers to make them work on my road king fits perfect with nacelle
@jamesbond3115 I ended up getting a template from Thrashin Supply to cut the nacelle and it worked out great.

It's tight, but there was enough slack in the wiring to do the job. We usually don't change cables for a 6.5'' Risers on these Low Rider.
I think you should do a install video on the pullback plate for Lowrider
Note taken. Thanks for pointing that out.
So if I wanted to do the gauge bracket at a later time... I'd have to pull all my wiring to get it through the bracket?
It would be better to discuss this with our tech. Call Us: +1 866-835-3402 & select "Tech Support".
what torque wrench is that? cheers

Thanks for the video! Question: Is the gauge relocation kit required or can you use the stock gauge and mount?
If your Gauge is mounted directly on the top clamp (Like the 2022's) you'll need the Gauge Pod to do the install.
Did you need to extend clutch cable?
Clutch cable does NOT need to be extended with 6.5 inch risers. I've done this myself and speak from experience.
On this particular installation, on a low rider s, the extensions are not mandatory.
Did you just bend the brake cable? Straighten both the top and bottom??
It's pretty tight with the stock cable but can be worked in, only with the 6.5'' risers. Else, a cable extension is mandatory. I would still suggest extensions if you don't want to hassle around with the brake one.
What’s the torque spec for the rider bolt in the bottom?
Torque the riser’s bolt (1/2”-13) to: 30 ft-lbs. This torque can be adjusted to rider’s preferences.
If you are using polyurethane bushing, the more torque you apply, the stiffer the risers will be.

Can you put that gage on a low rider st?
You will have to do a swap from the digital gauge the the classic ones. But everything is possible!
Ok thank you. Does it mess up the ride at all?
What size grade 8 bolts for the risers?
Hit us up at info@originalgaragemoto.com, we'll be able to give all the details you need.

Any risers for stock fat bob handlebars??
The stock handle bar will fit using our shims.
Do I have to relocate the gauge
Yes. The stock gauge housing won't fit on our risers setup.
Do you recommend 6.5 or 8.5 risers for a 5'7 rider? Same bike.
6.5" with our Moto Bars would be our pick. If you want a bit higher simply add our 1" extensions later.
I'm from Italy. Are there European official dealers? Tks
