    It takes a lot more know-how to get a vehicle running thats been sitting for 20 years than people realize. Very possible that it wont, then you have to check off everything that it might be. Always enjoy your channel Wiley! Keep up the great work! 👍

    Anyone that lives any place that gets snow knows how to get that brake unstuck. Hit the brake shoe!!! its stuck to the drum, knocking the bottom one loose will usually make the top shoe pop when you try to drive it. if not hit the top shoe as well.

  • @scottsinfl
    @scottsinfl Рік тому +4

    Wily if you look back at your video to 25:25 you can see the pry slots in the shoe and if you stick a wedge in there with your pins in it will sometimes pop the shoe away from the drums. Also, you might try the hammer tap on that starter but don't beat it to hard just a love tap should do it probably a stuck solenoid plunger the part that the electromagnet actuates.

      @@DontbeWily They are actualy cooling slots but when the shoe is thick enough you can stik a wedge in there and break them loose when the pins are in.

    William French is right. Wiley needs to get some safety glasses and a ballpeen hammer. And hit the brake drums with the brakes released. I have done this many times on rusted and stuck brakes shoes with enough hammering the brakes will release. But always use safety glasses because the drum are cast steel. But I have never cracked a drum yet.
