I REALLY needed to hear that right now. I know it's been a year later , but God must have brought me here for a reason. I have been complaining about my small house and how I'm jealous that rich people have nice things and a nice house and my landlord doesn't change my carpets or ablah blah blah. Then , I'm sent to this channel and , the first thing I saw was your comment. That got me thinking about how much I sounded like a spoiled brat and people out there are homeless and literally have nothing ! Thanks so much !

Absolutely love what you said about being grateful for what you have at the end. You're ABSOLUTELY correct ♡ I've lived in spaces that I didn't feel happy in, and trying to decorate them just didn't work. Now I'm in a space where even though it's not perfect, it's enough, and I am happy with what I have and I can definitely make it work.

AMEN TO YOUR #1 TIP!! GURLLLLL...I have been through some thangs and was not appreciative of my space. I am SO DONE wit this small apartment. But lately I had to change my mindset because with all that is goin on now...THANK GOD FOR THIS SMALL PLACE I CALL HOME!😍 And as soon as I changed my Attitude..I startee making changes in my space to show my Gratitude! I just redid my bathroom a beautiful Sunshine Yellow🌝 with new curtains and flooring and accessories. I got my 9yo daughter to help me paint. Now she wont leave the bathroom. It was a spiritual transformation for us both because we smile and look forward to being in our space. They say your home reflects what's goin on in your mind...messy house...messy mindset...FACTS!!! I love the last quote, I was a bit disappointed when I was shown into the apartment unit I had rented from out of state, it looked alot nicer online, and the "show unit" looked more updated than mine too. The apartment wasn't everything I wanted but I'm telling myself I can make it cute and work for me for 9mos till the lease is up.

#1is so true. Been super bummed bc I was planning on buying my own place, but it was sold out from under me. So still stuck in a tiny, outdated studio. Love to cook, but hard in my Tiny kitchen with less than two feet of counter space with a cabinet comes down really low to boot! Grateful I have a roof over my head bc it's really cold out. And the rent is super affordable, so maybe I just need to do some renter-friendly upgrades and make it my own. Thanks for the video, it cheered me up!❤

I rarely comment but that final piece of info on gratitude was legit the ONE AND ONLY thing I have been needing to hear since May when I just finished renovations on a my old rental and got notice that the place was sold. I have really been stuck as to what to do in this place as the layout is very odd so its been taking forever. Anyway, this is getting dragged out...but im subscribed for sure👌🏻

Last tip is the best. I am in the process of remodeling our house. I was IN LOVE 3 years ago when we bought our house, but it shifted because of how long it’s taking me to get it to look how I want it to. I am working so hard to get it perfect. Simple inexpensive decor but classy.
Absolutely needed this! I have just moved and the kitchen is narrow and small! We already changed the cabinet handles to white. Also put led lights under the cabinets to enhance the dull light. So, we’re on a great roll. Need a runner, and will think about the contact paper to lighten the counter. I love the faux plants on the sink.

Thank you for this!!! I’m going back to school and found an affordable apartment in a nice neighborhood! It’s a decent size and has its perks. It’s in a good school district and a 10min street drive from my school. Unfortunately i was hoodwinked and was sold off the model apartment!!! I’m like Ima have to do some serious diys in this mess!!! My bedroom has a full bath with a huge vanity but the cabinets are a mess! So are the ones in the kitchen! And there’s a few knicks because some ppl are against cutting boards!!! I’m also not a fan of the tile. They did a poor job laying it!!! I was extremely sad but now I’m excited to turn the place around! Luckily I got some friends that also do this stuff. We shall see! But next time I’ll need to see the unit I’ll be in. They took forever to get it ready and it don’t look like they did anything but maybe paint!😂
