I’m using it for anxiety reduction. It’s really been helpful!
Awesome!
I just started this and feel the positive differences. Wish I knew about this during grad school.
That’s awesome! How did you hear about rhodiola?
@@JessicaNortonND I searched about vitamins/herbs that can give you energy because I was had low energy and rhodiola popped up. I started reading studies on and I was sold! Then I searched on UA-cam for reviews from other experiences as well.
@@andreawaller5404 so cool thanks for sharing!
Thanks a lot OMG all you need in less than 2 minutes, instead of some other dudes with 5 minutes just introduction

You are direct and concise with your info 2 things very difficult to find in the UA-cam age of sharing info. as most people wish to share personal stories. Any info on using a drop or tincture. Great video
Great and to the point, thankyou 🙂 Is this safe to take daily for long term?
I've had patients on it months at a time, I always recommend that you check with your practitioner
@@JessicaNortonND thankyou so very much for replying. New sub ❤️
@@nic5916 welcome to the family!
Thank you for the information you provided.
What is the daily usage amount of Rhodiola?
dosage can vary but is usually around 100-600 mg daily for up to 12 weeks
@JessicaNortonND why only up to 12 weeks of use?
Hi, How much should you take a day? Measurements?
It can vary depending on the person and formulation, but dosages can range from 100-600mg daily. Check in with your provider to find out what is right for you.
For students what is better rhodiola or gotu kola for retention ,recalling , motivation?
I took rhodiola when i was a student
👍
Have you tried rhodiola for stress?
@Kosem72 Good question! From the research I've seen, the two have similar profiles as far as the constituents. But the crenulata is used more in my experience in TCM. It's often used more as a qi tonic with other herbs and also helps with memory. Most formulas I've found here in the US are generally rosea so I'll have to give it try! Thanks so much for sharing your experience.
Is okay to take all of this suplemets?
1. Goku Kola
2. Lion's Mane (Griva lava)
3. L-teanin
4. Ashwagandha
5. Omega 3
6. Methyl B12
7. Shilajit
8.Rhodiola
can you take this while on birth control pill ?
Hey girl. Just tried it out for the first time. Just some Soloray formulation I picked up at the health shop. Nothing fancy. Stimulant? I felt wired and so so good. Did my upper body workout and set PB on all lifts, dancing in between sets. lol. Felt almost euphoric. Is this normal? Think I will save it for workout days, or when I really need some extra boost like a tough meeting or something.
Sounds like this herb was pretty strong for you, I have had some patient who are pretty sensitive to its effects. It’s one of the reasons I usually recommend this one during the day rather than at night as it can be quite stimulating for some.
Side note, check the dosage. As someone sensitive to drugs, I try to go for supplement formulations that have smaller dosages so I can start small and scale up if necessary. Solaray is a 500mg/capsule vs Pure Encapsulations which is 100mg/capsule.
would you recommend this over cordyceps mushrooms? If I want to improve my endurance and stamina?
It would depend on what you need more for endurance and stamina, looking to build muscle or improve cardiovascular output? I would probably look at something like eleutherococous before these two herbs.
cordyceps? cordyceps? Omg, you will put us all in danger :p
I need something for my memory or focus, what would you recommend?
without knowing your history it's hard to say, but I have videos about L-theanine, GABA and a few other nootropics you might want to check out and a video about supplements for brain fog.
Is this good for brain fog, depression and anxiety ?
Yes
Does it increase testosterone, does it give me crazy dreams like ashwaghanda and is it safe for teens
I've not seen a study where it significantly increased testosterone. It can be stimulating so I would avoid taking at night. I would talk to your doctor to about safety in children. I mainly work with adults.
Doesn't work for me
How much is a good amount to take? My stress levels need this so bad! 😢
It can vary depending on the person and formulation, but dosages can range from 100-600mg daily. Check in with your provider to find out what is right for you.
Can i take it with amitryptiline 10 mg?
Rhodiola can hypothetically increase metabolism of drugs that act on the liver cytochrome py450 enzymes, I would check in with your doc.
Is liquid as good as pill form
yep in this case most constituents will be extracted in a tincture.
I have heard it has a good effect on Thyroids function, is this true?
there are few studies showing it can help improve thyroid function in the case of hypothyroidism.
@@JessicaNortonND Thank you for replying. This gives me some hope.
Hi everytime I have this suppliment just one capsule in the morning, next morning I wake up by 4.30 am instead of usual 7.30 am. Why is this happening pls? Any idea?
Sounds like it’s causing your cortisol to spike earlier. Dose might be too high or it’s not the right herb for you
What's the best Rhodiola or Ashwagandda?
I wouldn’t say either is best, it’s about picking the one that is right for you and your symptoms
@@JessicaNortonND
Thank you
@@JessicaNortonND
I watched you today and I was very impressed with your beautiful smile and vitality
@@0__-__0 that is very kind of you, thank you!
@@JessicaNortonND Mentioned above that I got Rhodiola today, but I also got ashwaganda... Rhodiola worked for me almost too good to believe as a pre workout stim. Was setting PBs and dancing between sets. My plan was to take ashwaganda with my post workout meal and with my evening meal. Sounds like a good approach?
I’ve been on this for three days and I’m in a full blown depression with anxiety! Can it have an opposite affect on me?
For some too much rhodiola can cause anxiety
Do you think it will help with adhd?
I don't have any clinic experience with this
Neck spasms?
Would not be my first choice. magnesium or even Kava come to mind
