Wow 10 years and u got back together I was with my gf for 6 we broke up 8 months ago. Of course it was my fault. I begged for months just for to tell me to let it go no going back or fixing things. Until a week ago I just told her I give up and I am just going to leave her alone and move on with my life. Ironically, when someone breaks up with us, they suddenly become MORE attractive, we may not have valued them so much before, and NOW we suddenly NEED them. The brain drives us to want things, but it drives us to actually fight to KEEP things. Keeping things is a much more powerful stimulus than having things.
The single most important thing i learned is that NC isn't for the other person. It's for you. Eventually, the ex comes back and they find you happier. You can then decide if you want to take them back.
A miracle happen tonight. No contact worked! We ran into each other and we talked, hugged, He said he missed me. We are on schedule for coffee too. Wow, this is great!
Five months no contact. 2 year relationship. Never argued once. Two trips to Turks Caicos. Oh well. The pain did finally stop thank god. Three first dates, and my second date with one of them tomorrow. It’s nice to be able to smile and laugh with someone again. I still think about my ex every day, but I deserve happiness so here I go. 2 months in NC, it was extremely difficult at times, and I almost broke it, I would always watch these videos whenever I felt I needed to contact him. I really appreciate how you approach things. I find other coaches often address things from a manipulative, arrogant "gotcha" game manner and whereas you have a completely logical approach, never devaluing the situation but rather emphasizing the importance of self worth and improving yourself for yourself. As someone with a lot of anxiety it's a lot easier to listen to your tone and pace. Your voice is calm and message isn't rushed. That's what makes your messages all the more empowering.

Some ppl need more time than others ..stay in the no contact ..heal take care of you don’t jump in another relationship too soon ..it’s during that healing time they will miss and contact you and if they don’t you will go into your next relationship with a learned experience clear mind and a healed heart..

@@simay5346 many things happen. I broke NC to say if he wants to come back in this year he can cuz I won’t date. He asked after 19 days asking how it’s going so far (as how my life has been), replied I’m doing well and asked him back he said he’s fine and then we stopped talking. 2 weeks later he texted me again saying “it feels strange, I used to spend all day with you but now I feel empty, bored and alone”. And ofc I bursted my eyes out asking why he seem to hate me and he said he didn’t hate me but hate my action and telling me stuffs about it and also said I turned from caring to controlling. So I replied I understand my shortcomings and told him why I acted how I acted and it doesn’t mean I’m the only one doing bad in the relationship and he did as well. He left me on seen again so after 2 weeks I texted him he made me confused because he just made it seem like he missed me but why disappear. He told me there’s nothing to talk to begin with we’re not together anymore and it’s not right for him to talk normal and he keeps telling me I was controlling even tho I explained why, and ge also said we don’t have the same taste in music and likings. After reading all that I sent him messages why it’s not fair for me just because we have different tastes in music and stuffs. Yes I sent him paragraph and I’m done. No more reaching out to him. 17 days later which is few days ago he texted me if I went into his Spotify to create a playlist (bcoz he let me use his Spotify account but after he broke up w me I stopped using his and create my own account) so I said him I didn’t use it, he then left me on read and that’s just it. So basically I’m not reaching out to him again cuz he made it clear to me we’re not meant to be or whatever. No more anxiety and trying to convince him. If he reaches out again that’s on him cuz that’s not my job. If he doesn’t then I’ll just find someone else who’s not as immature as him. We both did mistakes in the relationship but no one cheated. I know well and he as well does. If he doesn’t step up and own up his mistakes when I bring it up then I’ll let him be and find someone better
After a little over a month of no contact she messaged me about an hour ago and talked about how it was hard for her to not talk to me. She also said that we’d be talking more in the future. Appreciate your calm insight into the mature approach to dealing with hard feelings after a breakup. I've lost loved ones to death, and a breakup feels eerily similar, which can be unsettling. I've gone no contact since I was broken up with while she was in Nashville over the 4th of July. I currently have packages coming from Nashville from when she was there but I'm focused on the final stages of a interviewing at a great job, training, lifting, and eating better than ever, and growing from the pain of this journey. He broke up Sunday morning. I cried hard but didn’t even drink the coffee he made. Hit the road, removed location from sharing, went no contact. I’m struggling and suffering but also setting short term goals for fitness and travel as a distraction. These videos give me the strength I need to hold steady and I listen to them many times like a crazy person.
These past two weeks I’ve been taking steps forward in my life. Finally finalizing my college classes for this semester and finding a new job. Coach Lee helps me stay on track for no contact. I don’t know if I want to go back to her, so I’ll just keep moving forward
If it’s been over a year since you’ve heard from your ex, keep it moving. Technically no contact always “works”. Every guy I’ve dated has reached out to me at some point- even 12 years later in one instance. But, the passage of time is an indicator of how much someone desires your presence in their life. When that much time has passed, things will obviously be different. That difference will undoubtedly keep you from getting back together. Things just won’t be the same
most important thing i learned from watching these videos is that no matter what you do reaching out to someone only pushes them away so no matter what do not reach out to them because all it does is make them move further away if you think that every time u feel like you want to contact them you know in your own mind its pointless and counter productive .also the longer you leave them alone the more you come to peace with it your no longer angry nervous clutching at straws your confidence comes back and its a lesson learned everything will be ok in the end either way whatever happens happens do not lose faith in yourself 👌👍💪👊

Hi coach Lee. The relationship was so complex and lots of factors needed to align for it to work. I won't go into mega detail. I felt this girl was the love of my life at times, but like u say in the video, love and loss seperation was illuminating. I can't see her ever coming back but no contact and your videos have worked. Second time I have been broken up with and didn’t want the relationship to end. Back to couch lee. But I must say it doesn’t feel as bad once you have experienced a broken heart. Just remember it will get better and one day you will actually forget all the struggle and pain you are going through. You will be ok, I promise. When the relationship was bad, you have the benefit of clarity seeping in after a few weeks of NC.. The clouds will eventually dissipate and you can start seeing the relationship for what it was. A bad relationship ending should thus take quicker to get over. Of course the tricky thing is when you perceived it as good and it ended abruptly. Often times you don't get an explanation. You just have to ask yourself: why would I want to be with someone who is so heartless as to not give me one ounce of explanation about what I was doing wrong or what turned them off? That is narcissistic and deserves no forgiveness. Remind yourself of that daily. A compassionate partner will tell the person what they need to improve so they can move on, gain closure and become better for the next person..
Neal, when my ex and I broke up, there was NO CLOSURE AT ALL to this day. It ended abruptly, and we went our separate ways. I had to leave him bcse he was using me. This was 11 years ago. .Take care of yourself..

I did all of the wrong things. She's never coming back and I've accepted that. I'm concentrating on me and making myself the best version of myself I can be. I will always love her though.

My ex was stuck in his past & was concerned why he didn’t “feel butterflies” while being with me. Meanwhile I was trying to hard to keep him happy & be his peace/safe place, which he repeatedly stated I was. I even threw him a surprise birthday party, invited all his closest friends. He broke up with me in a cowardly manner. Gave me all the pathetic excuses such as needing to work on himself, blah blah blah. Said I made his life better & wanted to remain friends. After approximately a month and a half of no contact, I am meeting my ex tomorrow because we're playing in the same string quartet for a recording session (we're both violinists). I have done awful things that caused the break up, but I have definitely owned up to these mistakes and learned all my lessons the hard way. I feel that I have truly evolved in a short amount of time. I love her so much. I'm gonna go tomorrow in my new clothes, new cologne, a nice haircut, and just overall my best-self. I think I've done well. I maintained my composure and had light yet professional energy all the way through. She was talking to me during the session about some music stuff and she kept the conversation going for a little bit. It was a great moment and there were many times she'd giggle at some of my stupid jokes during the session. Other than that, at the beginning of the day, we met at the hallway outside the studio and she said 'hi' in a very formal way, and I responded more or less the same way. After the entire session ended, we practically didn't speak a single word to each other, and she didn't say bye to me when she left, and neither did I. I think overall these are great signs. The day went quite well, and I remained calm and myself throughout and I resisted the urge to talk to her afterwards or to even text her. Now it's back to no contact, but I could feel that there is progress!
The more I watch these videos, the more I realize I probably don't need to get this ex back. Yes, no contact might work to make the other person curious and reach out out of curiosity, but otherwise it's already too spoiled... They lost attraction because they got bored and they KNOW this about you (that they lose this attraction from you)... this will only bring them back briefly but they will leave again as soon as they don't like the slightest detail, and that's how they have it all the time. You don't deserve the type that comes and goes, and just uses you as a go-to when they have no other options. Find somebody that is willing to make it work with you.
Yes. Sometimes I think if I did get back together with him the relationship would just make me feel mega insecure about everything, day and night. I would be waiting for him to take off at the slightest thing. Who wants that???

Don't take an EX back at all..... They only come back after they have tried to replace you and failed at it. They may need you to come back to pay half of the rent or some type of financial support... once a break up happens the love may live on but the trust and loyalty dies and it never fully comes back
Not everyone is like that. Not everyone ends to get with other people. I’m sorry if that was your case but a lot of people have valid reasoning to end things. Also, it may be ur fault they left and it’s ok to take them back if you’ve learned and changed
I am 69 and have dated and broken up with a few dozen boyfriends. By the time we broke up, I was so sick of the circumstances there is no way I would have ever considered another relationship. Of all of them, only one did not reach out after our breakup. The only one who broke up with me, I heard from again later and we stayed friends until he died. One boyfriend continued to call me periodically for 45 years until I made him mad about 5 years ago..
I couldn't stay strong after just a week and I'm furious at myself because I can tell she still doesn't want anything to with me. To everyone out there, don't make the same mistake as me. It's just going to backfire and cause you a lot of hurt.
Yes, strength is very powerful. I can only imagine how very painful n difficult it is to try and win someone back. Coach Lee, your advice is very correct and excellent strategically. You might have saved the sanity of some of those who have been left. U probably saved them from going mad from the pain. Hi everyone! I'm from Russia, sorry if I make mistakes in my text :) Don't lose hope, my ex reach out after 3 year relationship and in the end I begged a lot, but she did it! And in that message she send to me tables were turned and now she begged me to answer her, she told me how she miss me. But the problem was that I've moved on already, so I didn't answer. They will come back and reach out if you were good person to them. Now I have new breakup, but this breakup was after short term relationship, and now i'm not sure she reach out because it was only 3 month we been together ( I really miss her, we had very good time together. I'm in NC for 3 weeks now.
No contact also helps you to heal. Constantly seeing someone who broke your heart on a repeated basis or that you miss badly will only deepen the wound. You need some time away from them to balance yourself. There is always room for improvement and when someone emotionally neglects you or betrays you they've been doing it for a while its just that you tolerated it or ignored it for some time because you used them as a coping mechanism to fill some other needs you couldn't fill at your own expense. That means you really need to spend more time catering to yourself and building yourself up. We're all flawed beings and understanding and compassion has helped me to heal. It gets better and they say time heals wounds.
My ex of 5 years Broke up with me alittle over 2 months ago didn’t really get a valid reason. I was in a 3-month-long relationship, that was really great. I made a mistake, and owned up to it. She forgave me, but then still broke up with me, a few days later.. I maintained no contact for over 60 days.. She never reached out, but I also worked with her, so I don't think she really ever missed me. We only communicated for work stuff, sporadically during that time.. Even though we didn't talk, I think because I was there, it made it easier to move on. Even though she said she forgave me, I don't think she did.. it's okay, she totally took me for granted, I deserve better.

Hey Coach Thank you so much for your advice. I just messed up recently got dumped by my GF about a week ago. Went into NC for 4 days then she text me and I stupidly replied to her and she has ignored me ever since. Need to stay in NC and follow your rules. The only reason i replied was she has an important interview this week to become a deputy principal of a school so is a big deal for her. I merely just acknowledged the text wishing her good luck. She just wanted a reaction and I should have been smarter.

Sometimes the only thing that works is next to the No contact rule, is to knock that stupid ex of the pedestal. It sounds harsh but it is true. The ex should be adding value to your life not be the most importantthing in ypur life. Those of us who have been dumped have put them on a pedestal for no reason..sometimes for years! The No contact rule can help us do that and maybe imagine that we are just as amazing as well. So even if we don't get our exes back... we can become happy again and not give so much importance to a person who more or less made the conscious decision to cut us out of their lives.
Coach, thanks for you help. Its been 2 weeks, tough weeks. We had issues , broke up and i spilled my heart out with why we shoould work it out. Thru tears, and telling me she was still in love with me she said she couldnt continue as it was too consuming of her life. I calmly told her i understood and have backed off. She is leaving for maine in a couple of days for 2 months to work. Its tough but i know no contact is my only option. Its killing me not to see her off before she leaves. Thank you for your videos. Im 9 months of no contact without any sign of contact from her. Last week was horrible I felt like all the confidence that I have in the beginning was shit and with no hope anymore. Im trying to hold on because I understand that no message that I can send to her will cause any change because she left me and hasn’t contact me is because she doesn’t want me.
Same here, it's been around 9 months I haven't got any sign of contact from her. However I recently met another wonderful lady who really makes me forget her very efficiently. I really hope the same will happen soon to you.
After 9 months, what do you have to lose by contacting her? Even if she has moved on, at least knowing that for certain will bring you closure. Nothing is worse than wondering. I am in no contact, by my choice, and I just completed 10 days, and I feel like an addict needing a fix!! after my serious relationship ended about 3 months ago, he continued to message me. So I finally had to ask him to hold off for a while so I can heal. He may never return. But I'm going to give this another few weeks and see what happens.
The hardest part is being in no contact & not knowing what they're doing or what they're thinking & if they even miss you or are happy with someone else. I just want to throw this out there. I was absolutely devastated when my old relationship ended but things really do turn around. Now many people say it’s unhealthy to jump into a rebound, but casual dating will honestly save you. Don’t lead people on too much, explain your situation and that you just want to have fun and meet new people. After literally just one date I realized my ex was far from the only person I could get comfortable with. Take your time and heal, but don’t be afraid to let new people into your life so long as you’re open with them and don’t put too much weight on any outcomes.

I think it works basically if your partner cheated on you and was seeing someone else but then that relationship didn't work out, so then they come back after the other relationship is over.

I understand how you feel completely. My boyfriend and I were together for almost 2 years. It was amazing. There couldn't have been a better time for you dropping this video, today would have been our first year anniversary, but he broke up with me around a month ago, and we're currently on day 23 of no contact. I had done a little begging and pleading at the time of the break up (because of course I hadn't watched any of your videos yet) and the next day he texted asking how I was. It's frustrating because I know the breakup needed to happen. I was completely dependent on him for my happiness. I also needed to grow up in a lot of ways. I needed to move on from my past, let go of control, learn to show more respect to others, be patient, and just be kind. I know my ex loved(still loves) me, but I can’t help but realise the difference between a woman who knows her value and attractiveness and the options that brings… and a girl who is lost and cannot gather the composure to grow and rise into a “better” situation. Before this vid, i have done very little to No Contact. Just earlier today my ex came into a group chat when i was reading a post "Get Your Ex-girlfriend Back." I undeafened, and saw she was in the chat. She said very little to me, but did not ignore me. Coincidence, or God answering my prayers?? Either-way, never gonna give her up.
My ex and I dated for 2 months and split. I begged and cried for a week and then went NC for about 4 months. I reached out in late December to wish her well and happy holidays and we were back together for 2.5 years! It’s possible. But she just left again because i got complacent in the relationship and wasn’t making an effort. I miss her so much… One important thing to consider is I had gotten to the point where I realized “wow… I really haven’t thought about her in 2 whole days… I couldn’t even think of a world where this would be possible 3 months ago” and then I waited a couple of days and thought hard about it before I did reach out. I decided I wouldn’t be too upset if she didn’t reply but she did! You must emotionally reset yourself before anything can happen, and we will get there!!!
I messaged this on another video. But my wife had blocked on Facebook a couple days ago. Now she unblocked me again. It wasn't even 2 days. Her status is still single. I can't figure out why she did this. Then I just found a letter I saved, a month before we married, that she wrote me about how in love with me she was. Reading that hurts. No contact always works ,Mine reached out on 30th day , but irony is that by the time she reached out I have almost moved on and have no desire to have her in my life.
In month three of No Contact, I was feeling much better and stronger. Then Thanksgiving and Christmas came and he reached out. We talked a little. I did as Coach Lee explains and didn't reach out on his Bday. However he, (my ex) contacted me. I told my ex that friendship is too big of a crumb for me to swallow. Now a month has passed again, and we're in some light communication via text. I'm not letting my hopes up about a reunion because I'm scared to trust this situation.
If he come back it means he attracted to me and wants to live with me but if he is not come back , he doesn’t want to stay with me with love so I should let him go and I get my strength back .

Ironically, when someone breaks up with us, they suddenly become MORE attractive, we may not have valued them so much before, and NOW we suddenly NEED them. The brain drives us to want things, but it drives us to actually fight to KEEP things. Keeping things is a much more powerful stimulus than having things.
Also, if they take too long to reach out to us, their value will decrease day by day. That's when you'll be over them for good.😊
The single most important thing i learned is that NC isn't for the other person. It's for you. Eventually, the ex comes back and they find you happier. You can then decide if you want to take them back.

Five months no contact. 2 year relationship. Never argued once. Two trips to Turks Caicos. Oh well. The pain did finally stop thank god. Three first dates, and my second date with one of them tomorrow. It’s nice to be able to smile and laugh with someone again. I still think about my ex every day, but I deserve happiness so here I go. 2 months in NC, it was extremely difficult at times, and I almost broke it, I would always watch these videos whenever I felt I needed to contact him. But NC WORKED, I finally saw the relationship for what it was and I never want my ex back. I’m extremely proud of myself for sticking with NC.

Here to share my success story. I had an extremely dramatic/horrible break up. I realized my wrong doings, and started working on myself the next day. I changed everything about my life that wasn't working. I really appreciate how you approach things. I find other coaches often address things from a manipulative, arrogant "gotcha" game manner and whereas you have a completely logical approach, never devaluing the situation but rather emphasizing the importance of self worth and improving yourself for yourself. As someone with a lot of anxiety it's a lot easier to listen to your tone and pace. Your voice is calm and message isn't rushed. That's what makes your messages all the more empowering.

@@simay5346 many things happen. I broke NC to say if he wants to come back in this year he can cuz I won’t date. He asked after 19 days asking how it’s going so far (as how my life has been), replied I’m doing well and asked him back he said he’s fine and then we stopped talking. 2 weeks later he texted me again saying “it feels strange, I used to spend all day with you but now I feel empty, bored and alone”. And ofc I bursted my eyes out asking why he seem to hate me and he said he didn’t hate me but hate my action and telling me stuffs about it and also said I turned from caring to controlling. So I replied I understand my shortcomings and told him why I acted how I acted and it doesn’t mean I’m the only one doing bad in the relationship and he did as well. He left me on seen again so after 2 weeks I texted him he made me confused because he just made it seem like he missed me but why disappear. He told me there’s nothing to talk to begin with we’re not together anymore and it’s not right for him to talk normal and he keeps telling me I was controlling even tho I explained why, and ge also said we don’t have the same taste in music and likings. After reading all that I sent him messages why it’s not fair for me just because we have different tastes in music and stuffs. Yes I sent him paragraph and I’m done. No more reaching out to him. 17 days later which is few days ago he texted me if I went into his Spotify to create a playlist (bcoz he let me use his Spotify account but after he broke up w me I stopped using his and create my own account) so I said him I didn’t use it, he then left me on read and that’s just it.
So basically I’m not reaching out to him again cuz he made it clear to me we’re not meant to be or whatever. No more anxiety and trying to convince him. If he reaches out again that’s on him cuz that’s not my job. If he doesn’t then I’ll just find someone else who’s not as immature as him. We both did mistakes in the relationship but no one cheated. I know well and he as well does. If he doesn’t step up and own up his mistakes when I bring it up then I’ll let him be and find someone better

When my marriage of 20 years broke up, I followed Coach Lee's advice of no contact. I gave up hope and mentally moved on, until one days she called me out of the blue. We have now been back together for a year.

Appreciate your calm insight into the mature approach to dealing with hard feelings after a breakup. I've lost loved ones to death, and a breakup feels eerily similar, which can be unsettling. I've gone no contact since I was broken up with while she was in Nashville over the 4th of July. I currently have packages coming from Nashville from when she was there but I'm focused on the final stages of a interviewing at a great job, training, lifting, and eating better than ever, and growing from the pain of this journey. He broke up Sunday morning. I cried hard but didn’t even drink the coffee he made. Hit the road, removed location from sharing, went no contact. I’m struggling and suffering but also setting short term goals for fitness and travel as a distraction. These videos give me the strength I need to hold steady and I listen to them many times like a crazy person.
These past two weeks I’ve been taking steps forward in my life. Finally finalizing my college classes for this semester and finding a new job. Coach Lee helps me stay on track for no contact. I don’t know if I want to go back to her, so I’ll just keep moving forward

If it’s been over a year since you’ve heard from your ex, keep it moving. Technically no contact always “works”. Every guy I’ve dated has reached out to me at some point- even 12 years later in one instance. But, the passage of time is an indicator of how much someone desires your presence in their life. When that much time has passed, things will obviously be different. That difference will undoubtedly keep you from getting back together. Things just won’t be the same

most important thing i learned from watching these videos is that no matter what you do reaching out to someone only pushes them away so no matter what do not reach out to them because all it does is make them move further away if you think that every time u feel like you want to contact them you know in your own mind its pointless and counter productive .also the longer you leave them alone the more you come to peace with it your no longer angry nervous clutching at straws your confidence comes back and its a lesson learned everything will be ok in the end either way whatever happens happens do not lose faith in yourself 👌👍💪👊

Hi coach Lee. The relationship was so complex and lots of factors needed to align for it to work. I won't go into mega detail. I felt this girl was the love of my life at times, but like u say in the video, love and loss seperation was illuminating. I can't see her ever coming back but no contact and your videos have worked. When the relationship was bad, you have the benefit of clarity seeping in after a few weeks of NC.. The clouds will eventually dissipate and you can start seeing the relationship for what it was. A bad relationship ending should thus take quicker to get over.
Of course the tricky thing is when you perceived it as good and it ended abruptly. Often times you don't get an explanation. You just have to ask yourself: why would I want to be with someone who is so heartless as to not give me one ounce of explanation about what I was doing wrong or what turned them off? That is narcissistic and deserves no forgiveness. Remind yourself of that daily. A compassionate partner will tell the person what they need to improve so they can move on, gain closure and become better for the next person..
Neal, when my ex and I broke up, there was NO CLOSURE AT ALL to this day. It ended abruptly, and we went our separate ways. I had to leave him bcse he was using me. This was 11 years ago. .Take care of yourself..

My ex was stuck in his past & was concerned why he didn’t “feel butterflies” while being with me. Meanwhile I was trying to hard to keep him happy & be his peace/safe place, which he repeatedly stated I was. I even threw him a surprise birthday party, invited all his closest friends. He broke up with me in a cowardly manner. Gave me all the pathetic excuses such as needing to work on himself, blah blah blah. Said I made his life better & wanted to remain friends. After approximately a month and a half of no contact, I am meeting my ex tomorrow because we're playing in the same string quartet for a recording session (we're both violinists). I have done awful things that caused the break up, but I have definitely owned up to these mistakes and learned all my lessons the hard way. I feel that I have truly evolved in a short amount of time. I love her so much. I'm gonna go tomorrow in my new clothes, new cologne, a nice haircut, and just overall my best-self. I have a good feeling about this one (even though I am nervous af).

I think I've done well. I maintained my composure and had light yet professional energy all the way through. She was talking to me during the session about some music stuff and she kept the conversation going for a little bit. It was a great moment and there were many times she'd giggle at some of my stupid jokes during the session. Other than that, at the beginning of the day, we met at the hallway outside the studio and she said 'hi' in a very formal way, and I responded more or less the same way. After the entire session ended, we practically didn't speak a single word to each other, and she didn't say bye to me when she left, and neither did I. I think overall these are great signs. The day went quite well, and I remained calm and myself throughout and I resisted the urge to talk to her afterwards or to even text her. Now it's back to no contact, but I could feel that there is progress!

The more I watch these videos, the more I realize I probably don't need to get this ex back. Yes, no contact might work to make the other person curious and reach out out of curiosity, but otherwise it's already too spoiled... They lost attraction because they got bored and they KNOW this about you (that they lose this attraction from you)... this will only bring them back briefly but they will leave again as soon as they don't like the slightest detail, and that's how they have it all the time. You don't deserve the type that comes and goes, and just uses you as a go-to when they have no other options. Find somebody that is willing to make it work with you.

Don't take an EX back at all..... They only come back after they have tried to replace you and failed at it. They may need you to come back to pay half of the rent or some type of financial support... once a break up happens the love may live on but the trust and loyalty dies and it never fully comes back

No contact also helps you to heal. Constantly seeing someone who broke your heart on a repeated basis or that you miss badly will only deepen the wound. You need some time away from them to balance yourself. There is always room for improvement and when someone emotionally neglects you or betrays you they've been doing it for a while its just that you tolerated it or ignored it for some time because you used them as a coping mechanism to fill some other needs you couldn't fill at your own expense. That means you really need to spend more time catering to yourself and building yourself up. We're all flawed beings and understanding and compassion has helped me to heal. It gets better and they say time heals wounds.

Hey Coach Thank you so much for your advice. I just messed up recently got dumped by my GF about a week ago. Went into NC for 4 days then she text me and I stupidly replied to her and she has ignored me ever since. Need to stay in NC and follow your rules. The only reason i replied was she has an important interview this week to become a deputy principal of a school so is a big deal for her. I merely just acknowledged the text wishing her good luck. She just wanted a reaction and I should have been smarter.

Sometimes the only thing that works is next to the No contact rule, is to knock that stupid ex of the pedestal. It sounds harsh but it is true. The ex should be adding value to your life not be the most importantthing in ypur life. Those of us who have been dumped have put them on a pedestal for no reason..sometimes for years! The No contact rule can help us do that and maybe imagine that we are just as amazing as well. So even if we don't get our exes back... we can become happy again and not give so much importance to a person who more or less made the conscious decision to cut us out of their lives.

I just want to throw this out there. I was absolutely devastated when my old relationship ended but things really do turn around. Now many people say it’s unhealthy to jump into a rebound, but casual dating will honestly save you. Don’t lead people on too much, explain your situation and that you just want to have fun and meet new people. After literally just one date I realized my ex was far from the only person I could get comfortable with. Take your time and heal, but don’t be afraid to let new people into your life so long as you’re open with them and don’t put too much weight on any outcomes.

There couldn't have been a better time for you dropping this video, today would have been our first year anniversary, but he broke up with me around a month ago, and we're currently on day 23 of no contact. I had done a little begging and pleading at the time of the break up (because of course I hadn't watched any of your videos yet) and the next day he texted asking how I was. I did not demonstrate strength with my answer, and a few days later we texted for like an hour just like the old times before we broke up. After that radio silence from both of us for a few days and I broke and texted him how he was, and he was really cold. I asked him if we were doing the post breakup no-contact thing and he said yes, as he was still reassembling himself mentally. That was 23 days ago and we've been radio silence since. It's frustrating because I know the breakup needed to happen. I was completely dependent on him for my happiness. I also needed to grow up in a lot of ways. I needed to move on from my past, let go of control, learn to show more respect to others, be patient, and just be kind. Literally ill over my breakup. I told so many lies and she gave me so many chances. We had such a good relationship then i started drink and drugs strongly. I know my ex loved(still loves) me, but I can’t help but realise the difference between a woman who knows her value and attractiveness and the options that brings… and a girl who is lost and cannot gather the composure to grow and rise into a “better” situation.
My ex loved me deeply, but I know she is confident and aware of her value - she’s not on the pedestal anymore but she really is a quality woman, a 10 with a brain, adventurous and creative. She knows what she can get, she also knows what she left behind… me, a shadow of the strong, fun self she met and fell in love with 3 years ago now. Our relationship was amazing, we flew to the stars and back, I’m hoping she’ll realise the potential in us… otherwise she can literally take anything she wants.
If she liked you once for what you were she will like you again. Work on yourself, get yourself back. Even if she doesn't come back. You got this king.
Before this vid, i have done very little to No Contact. Just earlier today my ex came into a group chat when i was reading a post "Get Your Ex-girlfriend Back." I undeafened, and saw she was in the chat. She said very little to me, but did not ignore me.

I was in a relationship for 5 months, 62 days since the break up, 45 days NC, does anyone think I have a chance of getting him back?
My ex and I dated for 2 months and split. I begged and cried for a week and then went NC for about 4 months. I reached out in late December to wish her well and happy holidays and we were back together for 2.5 years! It’s possible. But she just left again because i got complacent in the relationship and wasn’t making an effort. I miss her so much…
One important thing to consider is I had gotten to the point where I realized “wow… I really haven’t thought about her in 2 whole days… I couldn’t even think of a world where this would be possible 3 months ago” and then I waited a couple of days and thought hard about it before I did reach out. I decided I wouldn’t be too upset if she didn’t reply but she did! You must emotionally reset yourself before anything can happen, and we will get there!!!
I messaged this on another video. But my wife had blocked on Facebook a couple days ago. Now she unblocked me again. It wasn't even 2 days. Her status is still single. I can't figure out why she did this. Then I just found a letter I saved, a month before we married, that she wrote me about how in love with me she was. Reading that hurts. Anything I can do with it to help my case with her?
No contact always works ,Mine reached out on 30th day , but irony is that by the time she reached out I have almost moved on and have no desire to have her in my life.
In month three of No Contact, I was feeling much better and stronger. Then Thanksgiving and Christmas came and he reached out. We talked a little. I did as Coach Lee explains and didn't reach out on his Bday. However he, (my ex) contacted me. I told my ex that friendship is too big of a crumb for me to swallow. Now a month has passed again, and we're in some light communication via text. I'm not letting my hopes up about a reunion because I'm scared to trust this situation.

If he come back it means he attracted to me and wants to live with me but if he is not come back , he doesn’t want to stay with me with love so I should let him go and I get my strength back .
