    FAIR USE**
Copyright Disclaimer under section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for “fair use” for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, education and research.
Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing.
Non-profit, educational or personal use tips the balance in favor of fair use.
    FAIR USE DEFINITION:
    (Source: en.wikipedia.or...)
Fair use is a doctrine in the United States copyright law that allows limited use of copyrighted material without requiring permission from the rights holders, such as for commentary, criticism, news reporting, research, teaching or scholarship. It provides for the legal, non-licensed citation or incorporation of copyrighted material in another author’s work under a four-factor balancing test. The term “fair use” originated in the United States. A similar principle, fair dealing, exists in some other common law jurisdictions. Civil law jurisdictions have other limitations and exceptions to copyright.
U.S. COPYRIGHT OFFICE- FAIR USE DEFINITION
    (Source: www.copyright.g...)
One of the rights accorded to the owner of copyright is the right to reproduce or to authorize others to reproduce the work in copies or phonorecords. This right is subject to certain limitations found in sections 107 through 118 of the copyright law (title 17, U.S. Code). One of the more important limitations is the doctrine of “fair use”. The doctrine of fair use has developed through a substantial number of court decisions over the years and has been codified in section 107 of the copyright law.
Section 107 contains a list of the various purposes for which the reproduction of a particular work may be considered fair, such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research.

A corrupt tyrant will want to hide their actions. A civic patriot will want to reveal corruption and hold everyone accountable.
The 1st amendment, freedom of the press, exists for all people to observe actions of our government and report to everyone so that corruption and tyrants can be rooted out. If tyrants can hide their actions, they can hide their corruption. There is no excuse to prevent transparency and accountability.

@@williamwilson6499The main problem is and has always been complacency. This "support" most often consists of saying "thank you for your service" and then going right back to being ignorant as to how his taxes are actually "supporting"/"thanking" vets.
And can't forget ignoring what the "service" actually consisted of as a whole. Proxy wars, money laundering, fear cultivation, etc.
All this and more are why people like OP and I have a problem with that phrase.

My first reaction was to make a statement on the point that I had no idea what it was I getting into, the cost one might say. That would be some much horse hockey it would be laughable. I did most things at that time and age without any for thought or consideration of possible outcomes or even consequences. I wanted away from tyrannical parents. (They really aren't) At 18yrs. Old knowing everything about it all, I could see that my brilliance was not being respected, and I needed support. I knew that other people were in the Army and something about travel overseas and a steady paycheck even if I didn't work. I found myself with other 20 somethings that knew most everything and most likely weren't respected. I didn't ask. I was Airborne qualified supporting an SF group. With an unanswered question. Are y'all serious? Really?
Courage is not the absence of fear it is walking through the fear and completing the task.
Soap box just cracked, I got to fund a cross anyway. Thanks for the thoughts

I understand what you're saying, and thanks for your service. Not sure how old you are, but after 911 war was not the same as it was in the Gulf, and others. Friends of mine going off to get education and a paycheck sounds great, until they come home complete opposite how they went in. Straight up shook for having to shoot a 9 year old in head. Maybe you knew what you were getting into, but let's be real. On the battlefield superiors push grunts to some extreme circumstances, then turn their back on them when they need soldiers to blame. Isn't that kinda backwards? Shouldn't the high ranking ones be held accountable for the crimes of war they committed? I respect what you're saying, but it's not cracking the soap box worthy. Definitely won't be able to see each others point in UA-cam comments.

I followed the story when it first happened, it was definitely corruption at its best.
You think Arizona is bad, Pennsylvania is way worse when it comes to corruption.
You should review, Tom Zebra and Laura Sharps videos of the LAPD’s misconduct regarding the Christopher Bailey incident.
Multiple LAPD officers brutally beat an instant man nearly to death and tried to cover it up, good thing Tom Zebra and Laura Sharps were there.

Look into Pennsylvania Wiretapping Law. It's not illegal to capture images of people, but audio is a different story. It's a two-party consent state when having a private conversation, even while in a public setting. As I understand it (not a lawyer), it's a bit of a "grey area" of Pennsylvania law. I would say that's why Jake mentioned that the District Attorney could possibly drum up a charge against him for the supermarket recording. Sad, but true.
