The fact that both tickets were dismissed is proof that it was an illegal stop. The coproach could look on his computer to see that your insurance is current. Every ticket that is dismissed by court should be a mark on that cops record for writing a bad ticket.

When a charge is dismissed, it goes on your driving record without points. Your insurance provider will use that to raise your insurance rates. In order for a charge to not appear on your driving record, you must be found not guilty in trial court. If a judge says, I'm dismissing this charge, you must say to the judge, your honor, I plead not guilty, I'd like the record to read not guilty. The judge will then tell the clerk to let the record read not guilty. And make sure you follow that with, your honor may I get a copy of the final disposition before I leave. The judge will then tell you to step up to the clerk's desk, so you have proof that the record read not guilty. It took me a lifetime to learn this. I hope it has been helpful.

We had about 20 cops with guns outside our house called to the flats opposite me because a guy was having a very loud row with his girlfriend. They also like to shoot dogs. I put my cigarette out, walked in the door, and then shut the door to keep my cat from getting out. Three steps later I was tackled by 3 cops and manhandled while naked. These illegal stops by the cops for fishing trip should be stopped. I'm really surprised they don't say they smell pot. Just to violate his rights with a illegal search of his car.
Always go to court if you can, clog the court system with an appeal or ask for a trial if it fits the situation. They don’t have the time for small cases like this so probably they will dismiss it. Everyone charged with any kind of infraction asked for a trial or a court date, the system would collapse. Make them do the work make them bring the cop to the hearing, make the district attorney or prosecutor do their job they will hate it.

I know of a guy who gets arrested for fun then he makes the court spend ALL DAY on his case. Which means they Collect money on ONLY ONE CASE. Meaning the Court collects ONLY a few dollars or No dollars for an ENTIRE DAY of court.

Maybe. I forced two Pennsylvania state troopers to show up at a hearing at a magistrates office. The charges against me were disorderly conduct and fighting with first responders. The actual charges were contempt of cop because they didn’t like what I said to them. So I forced a hearing and they didn’t even bring up the charges of disorderly or fighting. The magistrate informed them six minutes into the hearing that I was not guilty. All they charge me with add to hearing the fact that they didn’t like what I said, you know whining. Now every opportunity I get, I post comments like this. I name names and the Barracks which they work out of. The icing on the cake is that I have a friend who has a relative that works at that Barracks and believe me they don’t like what I have to say or do. They won’t make eye contact with me in a restaurant we both frequent.

They knew exactly who he was before stopping him. They knew that he was going to talk!!!!!! I am a senior citizen lady and I don't like his language but I have the intelligence to know that anyone that gets pulled over and about to get a you ticket are thinking the same thing but sometimes to scared to say it. Direct D does know the law and he is giving his freedom and reputation to protect our rights. So it does not matter how he handles it because he is doing the right thing for all of us. All you folks that sent those mean messages, remember if you get pulled over legal or illegally and you are upset that you are being detained please try to remember you do have people out there trying to save your rights.
