I am proud to be Peruvian and I will always take wherever I go the teachings and values that our Peruvian ancestors left us. Thank you for such a wonderful video.

(Google translation, sorry) Very good documentary, captivating. However, there's no telling what beautiful music is playing in the background throughout the movie and even during the credits. There is only UNIVERSAL PLUBLISHING PRODUCTION MUSIC... Too bad for the artists and for those who want to listen to their records.
I learned of this bridge from Alex the Travel_bum. Look him up on UA-cam. He visited this location during covid, while he and his girlfriend were under lockdown in Peru because of the pandemic.
What? If so, this is the highest quality 70s footage I've seen in my life. I don't think this digital resolution was available with a telephoto until the 90s?
A lot of positives in this ancient lifestyle, but most of the ceremonial stuff is basically nonsense, altho to them it's important - just shows how humans have always needed 'meanings' to what they do. We are the only species that has to convince our brains that something beyond ourselves needs to be 'satisfied' with our decisions. I would have a hard time being patient while watching the proceedings. The physical reality of their bridge is a wonderful thing, so they likely need all the 'pomp' to get hyped up for doing this ! Those female skirts are quite ridiculous, totally impractical -but hey "fashion" - I guess it's whatever 'floats your boat' as they say !

Amazing 👍
What an incredible example of people working together. Western society could learn from their cooperation.
True love- longevity. This is a working monument. Some might say stubborn. I say love. Like a pilot light, or many lit candles.

Wonder how many times they've pinched a ball while sitting on the bridge, lol
Tar or resin will keep ropes from rotting.

They could’ve just made stairs that go down and up from the river with a bridge low to the river so u can’t fall
