Theres is alot of "hate" in this comment section about him, but take some time, do some research, you do not have to believe in the religion or accept that he was completely great as we as individuals are entitled to our own views and believes, each of us falwed and ignorant in our limited perspective. But we should listen to the words about the positives of his character and values, take them, and put them in action to better ourselves.

I have never been religious, my family went church when I was younger but it never really clicked with me. I think I believe in a God, I can’t think of any other way our universe could have been created.
I grew up around a lot of Muslims and as a whole they are the most welcoming community of people I have met and have always admired that.
Last year was hard for me and it is still difficult, and after TikToks algorithm showing me a lot of Muslim creator content, it reminded me of those growing up, especially how uplifting and encouraging other Muslims in the comments are.
I want to learn more about Islam, I have bought an English translation of the Quran (not too sure the best way to go about reading and learning from it?). And watching this video gave me a strong feeling deep in my body (a good one), I’ve not felt before.
There isn’t a Masjid near me I can go to. Does anyone have any advice on how I can begin my journey understanding Islam? And the Quran? (Like do you just read it for what it is, or try and put yourself in the shoes of Muhammad peace be upon him)
As-salamu Alaikum brother, it's great to hear you are moving towards Islam.
Reading the Quran, even if it is the english translation, is still better than most. I would recommend you also after the Quran, read books on the life of the prophet and, or even watch, the hundreds of videos about Islam.
Some well knowledable youtubers I'd recommend are Mohammad Hijab, One Path Network, Yaqeen Institute, and Sapience Institue. They go through the most advanced parts of Islam as well as the basics.
Increase yourself in knowledge and put the lessons into action, and you will be on your way to becoming a good Muslim. Connect with your local community of Muslims, and they will welcome you with open arms.

I will look more into the prophet and definitely will look at more content on Islam as well.
Would you say understanding of the other Abrahamic religions would be useful in this Journey - as the Quran has mentioned Jewish/ Christianity a few times so far?
@JayonMckenzie Gaining some level of understanding is probably best as it will show you how similar we all are and perhaps affirm your decision. I'd recommend you keep an open mind and always do more research because there is a lot of false information about all religions. Best of luck on your path.

The only one thing i will say that is consistant is translating any book from one language to another may alter the meaning in some cases. The reason we have so many religions including the divided Muslim religion is religious scholars arent in direct communication with God and therefore make their own interpretations to suit their own needs. This is why there is fighting over the centuries where we seem muslims against muslims. Christians against christians and even Jews against Jews and all of them fighting each other over who has the correct interpretation.

As the source of all sources of knowledge, the truth of the contents of the Qur'an can be proven scientifically. Because the last revelation was revealed as the conclusion of the prophetic era and the miracles of the prophets which were listed in the last statement. And this holy book already has rules which cover all aspects of human life which will be relevant until the end of time.

Hey, i notice you didnt mention the massacre of the banu qurayzah and the expulsion of the other jewish tribes of medina, nor did you mention the attack on khaybar , the siege of taif, the destruction of the white kaaba, the killing of Abu Afak, and other raids and murders commited by the prophet.
You also didnt mention all the self serving verses like 66:1-22 ( allowing muhammad to have sex with concubine whether his other nine wives liked it or not_ wth is this doing in allahs holy book!?).
Hope you include all this stuff in your next longer video.

It’s just crazy for me to think that a man living in the remote desert area about 1400 years ago led to the complete reshaping of the current world, in a way that he knew and that is how they unfolded.
