I'm actually a Samus main, so I was watching this video to get ideas for what not to do. Lol Some of my favorite things to do with her are "dipping" in and out of close combat, and a trick I've never seen anyone else do, using the morph bomb as a shield while firing missiles, or charging charge shot. I'll place the bomb, and bounce away from the opponent, and immediately fire a super missile in the opponent's direction for example. This works especially well against characters with horizontal movement forward Bs like Ike, Luigi, and Ridley who try to close the gap between them and Samus using these skills. It also blocks weak projectiles like Mario's fireball. I'm not sure why this isn't used by pros, maybe there's a downside I haven't found yet.

This is all assuming Samus doesn’t mix up and stays mostly grounded. Better advice would be to learn how to tomahawk, empty short hop to grab, and pay attention to Samus’s projectile habits, as her openings for shooting you are very straightforward or are just hard reads. Also, most other projectile characters can out-play Samus in projectile wars, as she is easy to wall out because of her floatiness in the air and reduced ground speed. Only thing to worry about then is whether certain %’s of charge shot beat out your projectiles or do or do not interact with your projectile.
