For the very short time these two players were able to compete post quarantine. Miya has tied leo for the most major wins in ultimate history. (I am an acola fan but I don’t think he is going to be no.1 this ranking it’s either sparg0 or miya). Further more. Acola is more consistent between the two players. His worst ever placement in supermajor I think being 7th. So yeah. I think acola has the better peak and more consistency, while miya has volume of wins. 5: Sparg0. The 2nd coming of Leo! Honestly, if sparg0 claims no.1 rank this season, it would be a toss up between him miya and acola for 3-5 for me. But as it stands. Sparg0 hasn’t had a no.1 season. And the other one of the two along side tweek to be ranked in the top 10 every season of the rankings! In all honesty it was a toss up between him and no.8 for this spot. But ultimately I chose light for 7th place. His consistency with fox can’t be understated. Through bad matchups he has always stayed fox and won bad match ups. @@thisisaclown8497 I actually did think about putting Maister on the list but the main thing that prevented me from doing so was the fact that his Break Out tournament was frostbite 2020 which was one of the last tournaments before the quarantine. This meant that Dabuz had a bit more time on the top than Maister. To be honest though they are so close in terms of their career success. It’s just personal preference on which player is higher than the other.
You want to be corrected? Well, then. So, Dabuz was ranked above Maister in both 2022 and 2023, and in the first half of 2019, and I'd say he had better peaks in 2021 than Maister. This year is the first one where Maister is doing better than Dabuz, and that's mostly because Dabuz barely plays the game anymore tbh. Both players have failed to ever win a major, but at least Dabuz has reached grand finals of majors and supermajors far more often than Maister; in fact, I think he's still the player with the most second places at majors ever(he has 11 second places!). Meanwhile, Maister typically loses a little earlier even when he does well in a tournament(he has only reached grand finals of a major 3 times in his career, if I'm not mistaken). In addition, Maister is not the best player of any of his characters, while Dabuz is still solidly the best Rosalina player ever.

@ Cody has been ranked since 2018, only really good since 2019 which is 5 out of melees 23 years and ult has been around less than 6 years so it’s really not that different, plus with Miya being overall better in that year than Cody I think it’s a fair comparison
@@Vaporwavelol this list really prioritized longe it and being good for a long period of time so that’s why players like Miya or Sonix haven’t made it. @@AidanXavier-qv5ee Tbh I think part of the reason they did that is because of the discussion around it rather than him actually being that rank. I think they knew so many people would talk about it and that was their goal.
@@Mohammedssbu But it's an algorithm based ranking not panel based. Are you saying Lumirank rigged the algorithm against Leo specifically?
You should do a more subjective list of the most "skilled" players of all time.
@@chefgoldblum1450 that’s a good idea but I feel like you probably won’t see acola on the list 😂
@@Mohammedssbu haha I would agree with that. I think most people would.

Agree with ur top 5 with 1 exception...where is Zackray?
@@seansami6275 That’s a good point
im surprised that zachray is not on this list, but I can see an argument for him not being top 10
@@nickd.8180 I was SUPER close to putting him and honestly should have put him as honorable mention.
kinda feel like maister has always been above dabuz in terms of consistency and rankings, correct me if im wrong
In addition, Maister is not the best player of any of his characters, while Dabuz is still solidly the best Rosalina player ever.
not having miya or sonix on this list to me as a melee player feels like if you don’t have Zain or Cody in the top 10 on the goat list even though they’ve been playing far shorter than most of the competition
@@user-wn7ko1uu3b idk about that! 😂 especially for IBDW he has been a top melee player for as long as I can remember. Miya on the other hand has only been ranked top 10 for the first time in the last 365 days so not necessarily a comparable situation.
@ Cody has been ranked since 2018, only really good since 2019 which is 5 out of melees 23 years and ult has been around less than 6 years so it’s really not that different, plus with Miya being overall better in that year than Cody I think it’s a fair comparison
Where do you think Zackray would be ranked?
@@numerousjibian In my opinion probably 11
@ Ah I see, also good list and video btw. Keep up the good work👍
Only L of this video is not having Miya top 10.

Zackray and Marss should also arguably be on the list
Tweek over Acola is absurd
Proto over Tea is absurd
i think you missed the “of all time”. i don’t agree with some of the rankings but putting sonix here would be crazy.
@ no it wouldn’t, he’s been top 5 for two years
@@Vaporwavelol this list really prioritized longe it and being good for a long period of time so that’s why players like Miya or Sonix haven’t made it. They both were way worse or just inactive offline pre quarantine so that’s why some of the people on this list are above them. As for Zackary and Marss, Marss is my favorite player so I would love to put him on this list but he has just been a little too inconsistent especially post quarantine with a 65th at smash on 2022 and multiple 17ths and 33rds at tournemtns like SWT and double down. As for Zackray I actualy had a really hard time decising who would make number 10 in this list, him or dabuz because their average ranks are very close but Dabuz has a bit higher of a rank so I just went with him.

@@Yung_Baby_Lotion ok 😊
Do you guys agree with my placements?
Where is Sonix?
Sorry, but Spargo doesn't deserve number 1 this year
Well, there won't be an official number 1 of the year since Lumirank split the year into two separate seasons. Unofficially, Miya will be considered number 1 of the year by most people, since he'll probably be ranked number 2 in both seasons, while Acola will fall to number 3 or 4 this season and Sparg0 was number 9 the first half of the year.
@@legrandliseurtri7495 imo they should split the seasons like they do right now and say who is number one in the first half of the year and in the second half of the year separately but then they should also say who was number one overall in the whole year
