Would you recommend the pioneer 6x9 component or 6x9 with 3.5” kenwood for a Dodge Ram. Just installed mvh1400nex and 5 channel pioneer. Not sure if there’s a benefit between the speakers

I got a pioneer avh221ex. Is there a way to move the volume level to another spot on the screen? When I'm changing the volume I can't really see where I have the volume set. Thanks

you guys just installed a kenwood 900-5. I have a kenwood 901-5. Can you guys tell me what the difference is? and also my door speakers are 4ohm and my sub is 2ohm dvc is it gonna be a problem for the amp to run 2 different impedance?

Rockford Fosgate has this down: They purposefully illustrate this AB for mids/highs.... Class D for subs. Buy two amps and dedicate them for each purpose. If you wanna do it right, you want one amp channel per individual speaker for maximum tuning, but, it's not cheap... aka: "active" setups. Not cheap, but, well worth it if you have a lot of road noise and need maximum output and control.

Dean, I've noticed that you guys do a lot of ported sub enclosures. Other than output is there a reason for this or is it install specific based on location/placement and customer preference?
I burned up two sets of pioneer z series tweeters. Not sure why. The mid bass is fine. They literally got very hot until they went bad and stopped working. Any idea why?

Open question- I'm running a 1200-1d and a 400-4d in a Chrysler 300 and not planning on any more wattage down the road, would you go with a 240 amp alternator or wire in a second battery? Yes Dean, I can do the alternator swap. Has a stock 160 amp but not cutting it going full bore with the lights on. Leaning towards the alternator...
A battery only helps for short periods because the alt still has to charge it. I say go with alt but if you can't afford it get the battery along with a battery isolator to save your stock alt from a quicker death. Also charge your batteries with a smart charger regularly.
I would do both, there has to be a place for the extra power to go. You don’t want the amps drawing straight off the Alternator.

I got 40 watt RMS rated Morel CCWR254 2.5" speaker connected with my Morel Tempo Ultra to a NVX Jad800.4, would this be too much power for ny front speaker set up?
I have a similar situation with what I'm planning on doing. I'll be running the CCWR254 on a PDX-V9. Just gain the front channels down and you should be good. That's what I'll be doing.
As long as each speaker has the right crossover, you will be fine.

Bad battery ground at engine very comment on Cummins engine. Also the cables get lose even if they look good.
So clean all connections
And check battery with volt meter. See how low the voltage drop while cranking. If it goes down to 9.5v replace battery and again clean all conections
