I love how he smile for every bite. You can really see that he love the food and food in general. To find joy in the little things indeed, in every bite.
Ohh man, I love your checking in and out of hotels going to the airports and showing airplane food. I think it's also important for us to know about the service you get in airports because it can help us if we decide to visit. love everything you do including the places to go to and most importantly the food. All in all your videos are of vey high quality dude. I have many places to visit and thanks to you I know exactly where to go. Every time I see you upload a video there is a huge smile on my face, so keep up the good work buddy :)
Ive never seen someone who loves being on camera but in a non-self absorbed way. He's got great energy and it makes you want to watch him even when he's not eating!
You are amazing and so trusted by all your viewers. So sorry about that flight out of Rome. They are regretting it now knowing they had a world class traveler in their midst!!
I laughed so much at Yings expression (@5:25) when she ate the crispbread haha! (That bread is so "normal" and "everyday" to us, that's what made it so funny :) ).
Makes me wanna go back to Stockholm again. Definitely my favourite overseas City I've visited so far. Greetings from Sydney, Australia Mark. God bless you & your journeys!!
the gravy with sweetish meatballs is from the cartilage and bone marrow, they use as well as the fat to make the gravy and the purpose of potatoes or noodles and the lingon berry jam the combination of the three cuts out the saltiness and stickiness of the gravy.
I just stumbled across your channel during the weekend and slightly embarrassed to admit that I've been binge watching your videos for a few days now instead of attending to more important tasks in my life, like eating, washing, answering the phone etc... I decided to comment on this particular video because I'm a Swede (from Stockholm) based in the UK. I'm definitely biased but true Swedish cuisine is excellent, mainly due to the quality of ingredients we use but also the combination of flavours that are so very typically Scandinavian. You should be there either during midsummer celebrations or Christmas to sample authentic Swedish food. Anyway, thanks Mark for sharing your inspiring trips with us. I'm sending you and Yin lots of Swedish kisses.
I think I would really like to watch Ying taste all these foods as well and see her reaction to it!!!! that would be so much fun and interesting!!!! yeah you guys should do that!!!!
heathrow airport in london can be even more hectic than in rome. they do not print out the gate number on boarding passes and wait for about 10 - 20 minutes for the gate number to be shown on the flight information screen. of course, we need to walk for a bit longer as the gates in heathrow are quite apart from each other. it was lucky for you to greet all the swedish fans there, even inside the airport bus! Scandinavia is a high living region with spacious houses. that is why everything over there is expensive.
Another great video Mark and Ying. When people in a country where you've never been to before are stopping you on the street while driving by to let you know they watch your videos AND love your videos, I think you have arrived. Way to go Mark and Ying😊
He was so awesome we into the meal he didn't realize that he was using two knives while eating the reindeer. Mark your humility and your diligence makes you well known and I'm glad to be one of those people who enjoy your videos and your travels and you and your wife continue to be blessed
I missed your visit to Sweden and found it on YT I’m enjoying watching it… I didn’t realize I have watched you for the past 7 years travel around the world It has been delightful. Thank you for your videos Mark, I hope your family is doing well. 🫶🇺🇸
Im swedish and it is awesome to see you in Sweden. Especially after a long time watching all your videos. So cool to see you here! When was this recorded?
Mark wiens i am a massive fan and have been watching you for ages. The way you react to all the dishes just make me extremely happy however also informed about the food as you give honest feedback. Your an amazing and kind man good luck with the rest of your food journey
Every time I watch you, I have to get up and fixed me something to eat. I missed the days I traveled extensively. I know how ying feels. Theres nothing like home after awhile
I mentioned in your other vid. a little about moose, reindeer meat, etc. But since I am only half Swedish (my mother's from Poland), I think it'd be fun if you would make a video about Poland too. She's from Poznan, in the western part of the country, not all that far from the German border. Stunningly beautiful city, with a mix of old 1700s architecture with modern glass complexes right in the middle of the downtown area, quite the sight to see. I'd strongly recommend Poznan - and whatever you do, don't miss the Old Town; Stare Miasto.
I love how this man has been ALL OVER THE WORLD, has dined gloriously and magnificently on the most exotic, high-end, luxurious and rareified elite cuisines, but he still is totally psyched and not above digging into some good ole' sour cream and onion potato chips. That's being a man of the people. I love it. I love how down to earth he is. Love you & Ying, Mr. Wiens! x.
All food you order looks yummy except the first mince beef with row eggs I'm not big fan of row food. But was looks very delicious enjoy your holiday in Sweden 🇸🇪
That was a delicious-looking meal you had at the end! I was blown away by how expensive it was but I'm happy to see that that didn't deter you from enjoying it!
I'm born & raised in Stockholm, been to Pelikan several times. Granted, their food is probably above average, but I wouldn't go as far as to say that it's delicious. There are tons of restaurants that are far better in every aspect. If you come back to Stockholm, I'd recommend Wood Stockholm near Slussen at Mose Backe. Their menu is very different to most others, and unlike most restaurants these days they take pride in their occupation and like to try new things. Might need a reservation a few weeks in advance, especially during high season.
Omg brings back so many memories. Restaurant Pelikan is definitely one of the best restaurants to go to in Stockholm. It's also one of the oldest restaurants around, more than 300 years old!
Mark and Ying, another great video and I am literally so happy that people now recognises you and appreciate your videos! And my mom likes your English pronunciation, it is so clear literally! Oh Mark and Ying, please never stop traveling and showing us the world!
Hi Mark love your videos bro. thanks so much for showing Airline foods through out your videos. Also showing up Hotel rooms and Services are never shown in any travelogues. Keep up the good work. God bless
Mark have you ever thought about taking all these video projects to the UN peace council? You are literally bringing the world together through food. Love how the guy on the bus recognize you and loved all your videos. Be a UN peace ambassador lol
IKEA Swedish meatballs and gravy is lush, you can eat them in the restaurant there and buy them in the food store part, the gravy is a powder and you just add water , truly lovely.
You are awesome! You keep your good humour even trough the most dificult situations always with a smile on your face! Thank you for all of this burden of good emotions!
Being from Australia, I am used to distance, as I expect you are as an American. It always amazes and thrills me that a few short hours can take you from places as culturally and socially different as Rome and Stockholm. Amazing. I expect reindeer is a little like kangaroo. It needs quite particular cooking and a delicate hand to get it right! It must be a rare event indeed, for you and Ying to be hungry! LOL! Hahahaaaa! Loved the video!
Hi Mark, always great to see your next video on UA-cam! What I like about your adventures is not only do we get to see the beautiful countries you visit, but also your love for all worldly cuisine. I'm of Indian background and I love spicy Indian food, but for me it's not all about stacks of chillies and masalas. This upload is my case in point. Sometimes you just want to taste the unmasked flavour of fresh meat and the use of just a few quality ingredients can make an awesome subtle dish. Keep up the good work and happy travelling!
sweden reminds me of a giant ikea showroom. clean, modern, orderly, safe, expansive/expensive too, but i would go out of my mind if i had to live there.
yes you are correct it is super boring here especially after summer when you dont see the sun for months and its completely dark, its very depressing but during the 2-3 months of summer people are social and it feels like the worlds best country, if we had the weather of summer like 9 months of every year, Sweden would be the best place to live in, in my opinion, because I hate winter.
Thank you Mark ! so fun to see you in my hometown, and what a great presentation and tour of Stockholm. -about the strömming, on rye or with mashed potatoes , it is traditionally fried in lots of butter , !!

Regardless of situation or frustration you handle it with calmness, hope many learn by your demeanor and actions. Sweden: The Steak Tartare dish is a favorite but impossible to find in some locations in the world, glad you ordered it and ate it perfectly.
I have been to Sweden and I loved the place despite being there for only a few days. Hope you'll make a trip down to Norway and Denmark too! Highly recommend Denmark :)
I love how he smile for every bite. You can really see that he love the food and food in general. To find joy in the little things indeed, in every bite.
I like how Mark handles chaotic situations. He's still calm and composed. I hope that I'll have the same patience as Mark's.
The Expression on Your wife's face, while eating flatbread on the plane was priceless :)
Love that smile from Ying. Great having a partner in your life who wants to experience this adventure with you mark.
