Oh my goodness, congratulations to the both of you on the wonderful news of Ying's pregnancy. I hope she feels ok , travelling while pregnant isn't the easiest thing to do. Best wishes and much love
It is GREAT that you have included sightseeing, culture into your food videos. We LOOOOOVE watching you......SOOOOOentertaining and such a beautiful happy face! Thank You
I am rewatching this episode. Honestly what I love about your videos is, there is a food/cuisine portion but depending on the country, a flavour of the country. Can be sightseeing in the famous sights or, hanging out with families. Thank you!

Common processed food I can buy and eat it at home . No need to glorify canned food I s a disgrace to offer canned food in Italy France or Greece they would never do this
You know you struck gold when you're in a bar in Barcelona packed with nothing but old Spaniards. No tourists. Gotta love the old man in the back smiling while Mark eats.
Me and my wife have been traveling in Portugal and Spain and we tried all the places you recommend and they were all amazing however can vilaro was the best meal of the trip! Thanks a lot for the recommendation!
Preserved food in Spain has a lot of tradition and it's very well known inside our country as a really good quality product, some of them are even more expensive than their fresh sea food version.
Congratulations on the birth of your son Micah! He's sure to be a great culinary traveler like you and Ying! Barcelona looks like an amazing city to visit. I like traveling there with you and bring the other person at the table.
*First of all CONGRATULATIONS to you both please don't forget sometime ago on a mothers day video that I hoped that Ying would enjoy that day soon, Wow! TRIPLE THUMBS UP Mark & Ying God Bless........♥*

My sons geography curriculum tour us around countries from a Catholics eye view and your videos have been a surprising win win! You covered Catholic landmarks and art, Spanish food and landmarks! Can’t wait to check out your other videos! Thank you!
I couldn’t eat that tripe dish, and I wouldn’t get very enthused about the lamb face (half a head?) but you seem to love everything like it’s the best thing you ever had! People are always drawn to you bc you always have an enormous smile on your face and people can see you are having the time of your life, always when you are enjoying food like it’s the best thing that you ever ate!
Had to revisit to wish you and Ying so MANY MANY CONGRATULATIONS on your new baby. How exciting!...being a parent is my greatest love in my life and you will know this too, welcome to parenthood ❤️All the best!!!
Yanyee Lee Yea as soon as I knew about the baby, I imagined Ying must have been really tired since she was pregnant for this entire whole trip which should be extremely tiring of all the jetlag and flights 😭😭😭
@Han Pham ikr 😢 I feel so hard for Ying and sometimes I really wished that Mark had an assistant so that Ying can take a break~ But, i guess Mark will have to stop traveling for awhile since this RTW trip is like the "last" before Ying takes a maternity and mummy break. Best wishes to the both of them ❤️

The impressive thing the places he go to eat, research much before. I went last year but did not find anyplace to eat that I could write home about it.
Mark and Ying, Wonderful! The breakfast with wine is a moment in time you will never forget. Barcelona looks like a piece of art. Beautiful. Enjoyed. TFS. :)
He took pride in knowing that Mark loved the wine, almost as if it was a telepathic experience the two of them had when Mark done his famous head tilt and 'appreciation face' :D
The weather looked AMAZING!! I would love for you to mention the months you traveled to certain countries because we can at least have an idea of when is the best time to go to certain places. I want to go to BARCELONA to experience the Tapas and that beautiful country. I love your travel videos!!
Sept is the best month in spain. The weather is still nice in the cooler sections like the northern mountains and Pyrenees mountains and starting to get not so hot in Seville. All of Europe is must cheaper once the kids go back to school. A hotel on the med in Marcia spain was 50 euro in sept. vs 150 euro in July. Spain has more flux then most places in price. You will not be alone though as many of the older people and couples without children are also taking advantage of the cheaper prices. Flights are cheaper too. Some places like the alps you dont see the drop in prices as much but between summer and ski season its not bad. I love the big cities bit they are pricy. I found renting a car and getting in the small villages and roadside inns in every European country were very cheap. The dinner was pricy but excellent. Central America and northern south america anytime but the June july aug have more travelers to meet. South america is tricky. The high Andes and such are cold but the June july Aug has people touring too so you either go when it's cold and happening or a little warm but more empty. Winter is opposite down there. Asia and Africa are anytime. Australia spring and fall. If not its hot and in the north rainy.
As an architecture student, Barcelona is my dream city to visit. Gaudi is definitely one of my favourite architects. Thank you for sharing a glimpse of his works! Also I would choose Casa Milà too because of the roof. One day for sure I will make it there!
Congratulation to Mark and Ying . you should upload a video being a new father. your baby Micah and Ying beside your food Volg . All the best to your family and GOD Bless
I always thought Gazpacho (and I make my own at home from an ethnic cookbook) tasted like a cross between salsa and V-8 juice. Love the stuff. Gazpacho, vichyssoise, and cold pear soup. YUM.
The little breads that you put into your gazpacho are crostó , it's exactly the same as croutons. The wine is called Vino rosado de casa. My grandmother lives on the same street as that restaurant and that place is a little cal favourite. They have a dish called "Lengua " that I'm sure you would've liked. The Montjuic Fountains are on display every Friday , Saturdays and Sunday at 10pm

01:58 Mark has spent so long in Thailand he's forgotten what croutons are called. "Crispy breads" hahaha
croûtons (FR) / crutones (ES) / crostini di pane (IT)...hehehe
Yet, he speaks so many languages. Croutons, is a French word, acquired by the English language.
Lmao o was thinking the same thing!!
Lol! Totally thinking the same thing. 😂
I'm glad that you let people know in the description that you personally pick where you want to eat, and choose to sightsee while you are there!
Can't wait until Micah will be in his father's videos. Congrats to you and Ying, he is so precious! ❤️❤️
