True knowledge and wisdom right here! Thank you for sharing this wonderful podcast. He is a great role model who is always willing to grow, improve and inspire.
"Short term tension does not count. Its a fake achievement unless you are a top level powerlifter" is a ridiculous statement. This episode is full of knowledge, and his training style is impressive. But just like everything else, it should be paired with other things. Being able to lift heavy things multiple times is going to benefit you in nearly everything you do. It just shouldnt be the only focus. Ive been in mma my whole life, and long duration intense cardio/muscular endurance bodyweight exercises have always had an emphasis in our training regimen. But honestly, I was never able to truly man handle opponents until i got into heavy 5×5's on the weights.
Igor dropping gems on em
Igor the 🐐. He actually has intelligence and realness which is rare from people in the UA-cam 'fitness' community.
Loved hearing that Igor was once human too lol. Great listen.
