This is my favorite video explaining this process. I've tried 3 paintings now and I love making them. They turn out SO beautiful! Thank you for explaining it so well. Anytime someone asks me how I do it, I'm sending them here. :)
So far your video seems to explain this in a very simple way...so thank you!! I'm new to pour painting and have purchased several supplies and tried and have failed miserably twice and was so frustrated. I am determined that I'm going to figure out how to make at least one beautiful masterpiece! I hope to make something so goreous that I can hang it in my newly decorated living room and bedroom. After watching your video again I'm going to take a deep breath and try again and hopefully make something amazing! You do wonderful work!🥰👏🏾
THANK YOU SO MUCH for the BASIC breakdown. I needed that. I've just done my very first pour today and it was an epic FAIL. I was using premixed paints in a pour kit. I TRIED to add silicone, but basically ALL my paint just ran off the canvas. So I'm going to try mixing my own. Here's to hoping pour #4 turns out like it's supposed to! THANK YOU AGAIN for the VERY HELPFUL information.

Awesome results, as always! Best of all, you're creating marble - vibrant, dreamscape marble - each time. By the way, I was about to dismiss the Floetrol as a "unitasker," but you mentioned the bubbles, which validated it. Else, your "homemade" solution (glue+water) gets the gold.
Thanks, Keith! I really like the glue + water mix that I've been using, but the fact that I didn't have to deal with bubbles when using the Floetrol was great. I'll definitely be using it again.
Love your video. May I ask if you know if when you do an acrylic pour with filtrol and silicone oil on a tumbler, do you need to seal with triple thick to seal before epoxy?
Hi it's 2024 and I just saw your video. Where can I get the Silicone oil? I saw your other beginners video with glue and I want to get my supplies and try it out. I'm 74 years young and ready to have some fun. Thank you
Debbie Holtz - Thank you! Yes, you can use tempera paint instead of acrylic. I haven't tried tempera yet myself, but the results that I've seen look very close to the results that I've been getting with acrylic craft paints. I have read that tempera can sometimes have a chalky look when dry, so that's something to consider.
Thank you so much you are very helpful. But the video is really blaring white I mean it's too bright I don't know why maybe it's my TV but just saying.❤
I just love the painting thank you for sharing ❤

I like this video the best because it is the most instructional and gets to the point

Why do you not use a pillow base? You go straight in with colour. Can you explain? Thanks

Nomadcreations - Glad that you enjoyed the video!
Closed captioning please 😊
Love this, I was wondering if I can use tempera paint instead of acrylic? Will I get the same results?

Kristen // k.becca thank you, I just have so much tempera paint, I might use a spray gloss on top after it dries, wish me luck
Good luck, Debbie, and happy pouring!
