  • In this episode, we unbox, assemble, and review the Autofull M6 luxury gaming chair, and at $600 it has a lot to live up to.
I've been busy trying to get my game room, studio, and office in order, and one of the things I've been on the lookout for has been a new gaming chair. See, the one I've been using has been super comfortable, but it's a bit high even at the lowest setting, and it also doesn't have a footrest like others I've used in the past. That's why I am thankful that Autofull just recently reached out to us to see if we'd be interested in checking out their M6 Gaming Chair. I checked out the specs, and my chin(s) hit the floor when I saw all the features, and I immediately said yes. So let's take a quick look as my rear end is about to meet the luxury life like never before!
According to Autofull, they believe the M6 is THE most advanced multi-function adjustable game chair in history. It has a unique "AUTO" lumbar support function and lumbar pillow follow-up function, which is specially designed to fit your body.
One of the things I really like, as a bigger (IE WIDER) guy, is the flat design seat surface that has a built-in large area spring coil and uses 4.33in ultra-thick high resilience polyurethane foam to provide sufficient support. One of the literal coolest things that is built into the seat is a USB-Powered cooling fan! That's right, you can keep your rear cool during hot weather or hot gaming sessions. Or if your game room gets cold, there's even a heater in the seat which can help keep you warm (or loosen tight muscles too).
To customize the armrest comfort level, AutoFull's self-designed 6D "robotic arm" armrest can be adjusted in multiple directions to provide comprehensive support for hands during the game. It reminds me of Captain Picard's chair, where you can adjust the armrests at an angle, so when your counselor becomes the pilot you can brace for impact!
The M6 Gaming chair is equipped with a new dynamic tracking lumbar pillow, which can move up and down, back and forth, and perfectly fit the spine. Turn the knob on the right side of the chair back to adjust the waist pillow support point up and down. It's really the neatest thing and hard to describe, but the lower lumbar cushion not only can go up and down, like on other chairs, but also move fore and aft to adjust to how you sit with your back against the M6.
From start to finish, assembly took a little bit over an hour and a half. I probably could have done it in half the time but clearly, I was documenting things for the video. To get everything going, Autofull does include a full set of rudimentary allen wrench tools to get you going. One of the things I was not a huge fan of was the fact that you had to remove so many screws to get your assembly going. Why not just have the screws out of the game chair to begin with and install them as you go along? That would have made a whole lot more sense at least to me.
I will admit I am typically not a fan of chairs that are leather or PU leather in the first place. To me, being a fat guy who sometimes wears shorts, I don't like the way my skin sticks to these types of materials. I will say, however, the M6's features for the material are fantastic. They're really nice and soft, they're also super breathable too which I think is one of the biggest factors towards my liking this versus not.
One of the things that I have found really unique about the m6 is the way they do their lower lumbar support. So a lot of chairs will allow you to adjust your lumbar support up or down depending on personal preference. This also offers a feature called autodynamic tracking lumbar support. Essentially what this does is as you lean in and out from the chair, the lumbar support moves with you to help you get the best support possible. It's hard to describe but feeling it it really does make a huge difference. I like this a lot, especially as someone who has had back issues.
    Why it RoX:
    - Super comfortable
    - Heating and cooling seat
    - Foot Rest
    - Amazing lumbar support
    - Highly adjustable armrests
    - Easy assembly
    - Awesome head pillow
    - Quality materials throughout
    What could be improved?
    - I mean, it is $700!
    - Don't have the bolts and screws preinstalled
    - USB Cable is short
    Should you buy one?
Ah the Moment of Truth, do I think you should buy one. Well, this is hard to answer because it is a wonderful gaming chair, amazingly comfortable, and now my go-to chair in my studio and office. Would I buy one if I were just looking for one? $700 is an awfully steep barrier to entry and I've got to wonder if there isn't something they could do to reduce that someone. No doubts about it, it's fantastic, but is it $700 fantastic? Is it the best gaming chair of 2024? It is not something I would typically Splurge that kind of money on. But it's really nice, and something I do think you have to sit into appreciate.

Dang, that is a spendy chair, but back support is so important. I have only done cheap or free, and although they have been okay, i am sure this would be much more comfortable for long play sessions. So glad you got a job!

I think the big question here is, how many $700+ gaming/computer chairs have you tried? And how does this compare to other chairs in the same price range? I figure there must be a LOT of options in the $500-$1000 range? I've also never heard of 'AutoFull'. Is this a 'custom' chair designed by them, or is it a 'generic' design that a lot of different brands can license to sell, and just put their own logo on it?
I've only ever used the cheap (Under $250) gaming chairs, and at least in that range I noticed most chairs look nearly identical, and are often the exact same thing just with different brand names.

I think before this the most expensive chair I had ever reviewed was $500 or so. Either $499 or 399 one of the two. They have hundreds of reviews on Amazon so they're not new, but I will agree they are not as well known as like ewin Racing
