I think there's two things to note on the "loot comes from outside adventurers dying in the train idea" 1. No one seems to leave the train. The vicious dopamine cycle of an endless grind is a very effective trap for adventurers. It takes someone chill like Jake to actually see that they're not getting anywhere and leave the train, and Finn only leaves because of Jake. The kind of person who would choose to board the train and partake in its endless grind in the first place, is the kind of person who could easily get stuck in that loop of endless grinding and end up dying on it. 2. Loot can presumably be discarded. If there's 100 weapons floating around in the loot pool, no one adventurer is going to be carrying all 100. They're going to pick some of their best/favorite gear and drop the weaker stuff (like one might do in any endless grind RPG this train could be equated to). This stuff could then get reabsorbed into the Train for the next adventurers.
It's a shame we never see Fin get this decked out in loot ever again and that we don't see any of the items brought back at all in later episodes, some of them seemed quite versatile like the flame crown.
I think they either stashed those in the treasure pile or left it in the train cause they might be cursed or because they're tied to the addictive nature of the train
Can't wait for the Finn in the train episode. Dungeon Train has always been my favorite episode, because I like how video gamey it feels, all the great magical items you get to see and how Finn and Jake's bond deepens so much in it. But after watching the entire series again after my first breakup, I connected to it even more, because it's the episode Finn kinda gets over HIS breakup with FP. He's coping bad with it by distracting himself with dungeoneering (which would be basically like playing video games non stop irl) until his best friend gets him out of it, snapping him back to reality. Amazing episode
To me this episode has always meant that finn actually killed innocent people and just never realized it, like yes finn kills a lot of evil beings and there is a lot of death in the show but here he's just murdering other random people who got addicted to the train like he does I feel insane bc no one ever points this out
Oh it is, but after saying it multiple times and deleting the original thumbnail template. I have decided to just refer to it as the Battle train as to not lose my mind and redo an entire video. SO no, it is now "battle train" I HAVE SPOKEN!
Can't believe finn got addicted to an irl roguelike... actually no that's very in character for him
Can't blame him, I would do the same. I love roguelikes
Wasn’t he like depressed on the start of the episode?
@@gasparg643 Yup ,this is pretty fresh after the FP fiasco
@@raulcerna1093 yea makes sense for them to get stuck on a dopamine loop

@airplanes_aren.t_real I doubt they got cursed but they probably do bring back the temptation to go again whenever seen.
Flame crown may have been a great gift for fp
This episode taught me to stick with your best friend through it all. If they’re really your best friend, they’ll come to their senses.
The train always came across to me as a multidimensional entity to me. I could see the loot being taken from an infinite number of adventurers.
The Dungeon Train is the prototype version of The Infinity Train and you can't convince me otherwise 😅
I WAS REWACHING YOU'RE STUFF TODAY WISHING FOR YOU TO DROP ANOTHER VIDEO, THANK GOD!!
Thanks for watching man, MORE COMING SOON!
This ep was just a metaphor for dopamine abuse

Three videos in a row. I'M ON A ROLL!
@@TrueLocalEnthusiast the cycle is repeating itself
Whenever I see your videos, come up, especially your Adventure Time videos. I’m definitely gonna like it before I even watch it.
@@Fanartist-Kitty it never ends...
Good to have you back, even if it's for a while
Maybe this will make the UA-cam gods give you a bone
Loved Mystery Dungeon Train
This makes for an insanely fun game concept
A typical rougelike/rougelite, but the bosses are just other players
As someone who loves collecting loot from dungeons in games, I could make serious bank with that train
I have a theory that Mabey the tarin cantered to other worlds and one of them is just filled with loot or it is like you said.
i got here so quick lets goooo love the videos keep up the amazing work
Great video 👍
I loved this episode
Also i don't think it is but

They're just lucky they didn't meet the Conductor.
I do not remember this episode for some reason. I remember the one with the train mystery, which I never understood as a kid, but not this one
Maybe you accidentally skipped it? Happens to the best of us
@TrueLocalEnthusiast Deprnds on the season and year
I remember this episode aired very rarely where I live
I want a game about the train in that same style, I think it would be fun.
The attack moon will forever be one of my favorites.
The Meme opening aswell. I feel the nostalgia!
I always thought the train was so awesome as a kid. Now I still think it's cool, but also kinda of sad
Ive been loving the content
wtf was the first five seconds?
It's what happened approximately 24 hours and 25 seconds after they showed up
@ 🤮
Dungeon train should be its own 5e adventure book…
Wow I wonder what lost property this concept was inspired by

Which Enchiridion are you seeing the lightning sword in? I can't find that image you used or any reference to that sword outside of Dungeon Train.
Its essentially an infinite dungeon
What is this some kind of infinity train
