"Thanks for everything Ted, sincerely." Tears to my eyes.
Hurts even more now. RIP Sam Lloyd

I know i just heard the news.
yeah, in spite of everything he still cared about him, that's nice :)
I hate this line because he treated him like absolute garbage and people act like it excuses how he treated him because of how he ‘secretly cared about him’
@@imthecourtjester I hear ya, with me I just WANT it to be true that he cared, and obviously the writers threw it in for good measure
but you are right, he NEVER showed that he cared, compete with Baxter, JUMP, when he "quit"
"Thanks for everything, Sam. Sincerely."
Ted
@@cricketknowall Sam is the actor's name. He just passed away recently
@@FiveN9ne :'(
@@FiveN9ne oh, I'd no idea
@jimrayner100 well then, what do I do with my mensa membership now?
Ted's moment is touching, but this episode is awesome in its whole.
Kelso spends 18 minutes torturing Boone (the intern who says "he does" in the end).
Just being the usual jackass, the intern has to go to work and Kelso makes him stay and hear good and terrible moments he spent at Sacred Heart, then finally lets him go to work, and before Boone comes in, he asks "So you think my next 20 yrs here will be a nightmare?".
Kelso: "No, I think you'll love it"
This happens just before this video
I'm glad that they didn't end him as a character - he went through some real progression after he finished as CoM
Spot on
I actually loved him!!
He softened up after he quit because he didn't have to be that hard ass anymore
Indeed. I love we saw him as that Grandpa role :)
You know a show's well-written when you cry over the constant jerk leaving...because, through said writing, he's shown that he really does have a good heart.
this is an amazingly written show
A sacred heart
He had to play the jerk so no one else had to. I'm sure as fans of the show we saw the kinds of decisions a chief of medicine might have to go through for the sake of the hospital, its patients, and its employees.
@@alexcooke4856 You mean, a Sacred Fart!
Everytime I hear that "Yes, he did", tears come to my eyes.
So who was that guy & how would he know?
Deborah Hanna Because it was obvious he did.
@@deborahhanna6640 It was Boon. They had a talk before he started his first day there and Kelso was motivating him and told him that he will miss the hospital work.
@@deborahhanna6640 Watch the full episode and find out ;)
I am not buying the box set. So prob not happening unless they play them all on TV again. I saw all the first half of the series on late night reruns while working third shift. Good show. But I had never seen that Boon character before as far as I can recall.
I love how he says thanks to Ted.
This hits so much harder after Sam Lloyd’s death.....like beyond harder.
Former manager here. Managing can be a thankless job. You can never make everyone happy, or even content. And, often what is good for the hospital, yes I was a middle manager in a hospital department, isn't seen as good by the employees. I was in charge of a couple dozen adults with varying degrees that often acted like four year olds. You're in a frenemy category most of the time. All that being said, for the most part, they were a good group of folks. I was really bad at long-term plans but was pretty good with regard interpersonal skills and short-term tasks. And, I hate paperwork.
I'm just a worker bee these days-in the same place. Much happier most days. I think it was a good experience as I understand both viewpoints. I've been told that I had done a good job. But, being honest, even brutally honest, with everyone and yourself is good and bad.
A man with a tough job and truly nothing to prove to anyone
And a well deserved retirement. Glad he returned for the cafeteria muffins though. I would`ve missed him xD
thanks for everything Ted, sincerely *.*
The way Kelso thanked Ted is just priceless
bob kelso is one the most complex charecters in the show and one of my favorites
Well I would say in complexity; Dr Cox, The Janitor and Jordan.
I absolutly love the scene where he says "Thank you for everything, Ted.....sincerely"
When Kelso quit: He took his portrait
When Kelso decided to leave to pursue a new job: He took his favorite table
Favorite table from the coffee place?
@@ciderfan823 yep
With Teds actors death recently, that thank you at the end was hard hitting :(
New intern that Kelso told his entired Sacred Heart career to earlier in the episode.
That patient walking by saying "hi" in the middle of the drama
1:53 Touching
"Yes, he did". In fact he cared so much, he came by daily after retirement.
God that comment to Ted hits differently now, RIP Sam you legend
Rest in peace Sam Lloyd x
makes me feel sad, but with a smile on my face
He says "You're welcome, sir"
i have to say, scrubs is one amazing show. It's funny and it can be so serious, it always have a message also..It really teaches you one thing or two sometimes. I think I talk, for everyone who likes scrubs then, for everyone here when I say that, Scrubs is one of the best series ever.
This show being so old makes me feel really old lol
The ending made Sam Lloyds passing even sadder. He played Ted as no other ever could. Condolences to his loved ones.
They couldnt have picked a better song then Little Victories, i love it
Such a great ending to a fantastic episode. Scrubs is so good :)
Thanks for everything, Sam. Sincierely
Such an awesome episode, especially the powerful ending with Ted. Kelso is normally so very mean to Ted, and Ted hated him so much. It meant so much to him to hear Kelso actually thank him and mean it.
i legit cried when kelso left, hes what held the place together :(
Perfect song
Kelso can never entirely leave Sacred Heart. It's a part of who he is. :)
I hope he has secured well that painting, i made that mistake and it ended up flying in the highway
God bless you always my friend, I hope you have a great 2020. :)
LOVE TRAIN yeah man
the moment with ted is really one of the most emotional moments in scrubs ever
i laugh so hard when the random guy at 1:10 said hi haha and the look on jds and elliots face is awesome. you can tell they are trying to keep from laughing
Yeah it's brilliant
Elliot is clearly the closest to cracking. The other actors you can tell actually do so acting in order to not laugh. I think she is saved by the cut away.
"If the world decides to catch up with me, it's a little victory..."
RIP Sam Lloyd.
Thanks for everything, sincerely.
i can`t beleive i missed this episode
Sam Lloyd really reminds me of John Cazale, with his acting and how he was taken away far too soon
That scene really got me because Kelso was always pure evil which had some good moments but still it's sad he's gone cuz he was a friggin good chief
He comes back all the time. After all, he has free muffins for life at the coffee shop!
"Your welcome sir."
I love that moment X3
Yeah, it really is. The first time I really loved Kelso.
This is the most kelso scene in show
Wo ist bloß die Zeit geblieben.....
damn what an epic way to go!!! a really powerful moment... wow
Scrubs is the only show on tv that's even brought me close to crying...the comedy in it is brillant yet....they know when to act serious. Kelso and Coxx two of the best actors ever in my view
Greys Anatomy.....Can't rip off any of the emotion you get from scrubs....never could....never will...
1:38 magic !
This was supposed to be the last season but then they added one more season.
mannnn...... oh, gosh, why the tears running dowm my cheeks?
For some reason the guy walking by and saying "hi" at 1:14 makes me crack up every time
its hard to feel sad when he is just laughing and smiling the whole time
one of the best episodes xD
little victories ♥♥♥
Constant jerk? I don't think he was. But he was hilarious nonetheless.
How many people thought this was Ken Jenkins leaving 'Scrubs' when they first saw it? I'm glad Kelso quit his job but never quit the hospital.
If the world tries to keep up with me, its a little victory.
Kelso's laugh at 1:48 is so sketchy/hilarious....
oh awesome, new office next!
yeah.. i also was about to start crying when he thanked ted =(
LOVE TRAIN!
but yeah, ill agree. i cried when i first saw this on e4. i was like "i. dont. want. it. to. end" when Boone says "yeah, he did" its like...:):) and WHAT HE SAYS TO TED. i cry every time at that :) "thanks for everything.."
This was on today... I think i actually came closer to tears watching this than the episode with ben's funeral - which is a new scrubs tearjerking record! it's just the bit with ted that gets me :(
The ones behind Dr. Cox goes as following Dr. Mickhead, Colonel Doctor, Dr. Beardface & Snoop Dogg Attending!
one of the best moments from the whole show! diggin the old beast at 1:11 as well
Agreeing with you 100%, small words, small but very meaningful.
I love what they were able to do with Dr. Kelso. Starting off as a "villain," then getting nuanced into a "jerk with occasional good moments" to a real human being, warts and all.
I'm also a huge fan of his "nothing in this world worth having ever comes easy" speech from season...4 I think?
oh,thanks for explaining
good bye dr.kelso.
sincerly,
I want to try the LOVE TRAIN!!!
Yes, Bill Lawrence said he's going to be in season 8.
Now his watch has ended..
Wait.. Wrong movie
What has two thumbs and is awesome...
man, i wish there were 'real love' trains at all hospital!!
"Top 10 anime betrayals."
HAHAHA the old dude who says hi gets me every-time!
Is this guy at the 1:10 saying hi was unscripted? Many people try not to laugh when he says "hi".
+lukaszmarcin youve not seen the show part of this episode was about changing these guy place and its funny cuse hes still walking around scrubs use funniest and saddest parts in core of each other the writers of this show were good very good
thats my favorite moment xd
Noooooo! Kelsoooooooo!
Despite him being pure evil, he was still awesome!!!!! The bit with the painting is funny :D
Matt Nathanson - Little Victories
1:11 - 1:15 soo much love!!!
Thus began the muffin saga.
Hahahah I forgot about the guy at the end 😂. I bet he’s a middle child
Seriously how is no one mentioning how that nurse / doctor at 1:39 just shows up out of nowhere
Slowing it down, there's a pretty clear cut, you can see the crease in the back of Kelso's jacket disappear and he shifts a bit.
shame he had to leave. did it well though, good episode!!
Scrubs Falinks!
LOVE TRAIN!^^
Dr. cox took over his job.
@deathy62 Close to crying? I've shed tears on more than 1 occassion because of the situations, music and messages the show relates to us.
this should of been season finale for season7
love train is great
i'm taking this with me
Just knowing what it is
:L kelso is amazin
This fall.
I know this is a serious moment, and really touching. But after Boone says "Yeah, he did", in my head JD says, "Shut up Boone, you've been here for 3 weeks"
"I wonder if he ever cared about this place at all?" This is one of the dumbest Questions asked in Scrubs. Someone doesnt work for 40 Years in the same place if he doesnt care. As good as a Doctor Kelso was he could have easily found the same Position in another Hospital that payed more. :P
I just noticed dbfinch has that same scene in the video: "Scrubs Ridiculous Name"
1.11 in is the best bit of the video lol
