Now Ted, is somerwhere over the Rainbow 😔
RIP Sam Lloyd 🙌😢🌈
I had no idea he passed away! So sad... RIP
RIP Sam Lloyd aka Ted. He was a great actor and singer
Damn dude... :'(
What?! He's gone?!
Wtf he died on april 30th?!
WHAT. THE. FUCK. 🥺🥺
Didn't know he passed until now. Now I'm sad.
I also love the one when Cox is trying to “pitch” a perfect game and keep every patient alive for a whole day and misses it by 5 minutes
I was thinking of the same episode!
Dr. Kelso was actually a good doctor; he did care. Imagine being in charge of the whole hospital, balancing budget so the majority of the patients could benefit.
greensky01 a t.v. show where they give us a bad guy for the characters to be challenged by but it turns out that after all that time he was never a bad guy at all. Not sure why that makes it spectacular but it just does. Amazing show.
@@joshualessore7652 Yeah he was my favorite character after J.D.
@@joshualessore7652 Yeah, like, even though he was the bad guy, after that point you realise most of the choices he made that made him the bad guy he had to do, or was the better of two bad choices. He doesn't just seem bad for the sake of the show
This was a show were i didnt have a character that i didnt like. But im some way J.d and Coxs friendship reminds me of my best friend
nah, kelso was the devil BUT he also love his job
My Lunch is, without a doubt, one of the best episodes of any show ever. But it's even better when you look at it with My Fallen Idol- one of the best arcs in television history. :3
SalmonOfK84 where do you think we are?
Osmosis Jones :(
🙏🏼
Oh, man. My Lunch STILL hits hard as a mofo after all these years. Seeing Perry breaking down is bloody heartwrenching and I end up bawling my eyes out every single time I watch it and I'll never be afraid to admit it.
The emotion that Judy Reyes displays without speaking a word is amazing at the end of that episode.
Seen it about 1,000 times yet every time “save a life” starts playing I start to choke up. I can think of few shows that have ever been able to better balance the brutal reality of medicine with fantasy comedic genius like Scrubs could. Some episodes were just funny but episodes like “My Lunch” left you in floods of tears.
Same here. No matter how many times I've seen the ending I'm never prepared for the flood waters about to be unleashed
Everytime I hear this song I just visualize him yelling GOD GOD GOD!! 😭
Every single time
😭
My Jiggly Ball ending always crushes me. I was a huge fan of Kelso after that episode because even though he was the bad guy, he did it because he had to. His look on his face when he puts his foot down just crushes me.
But also let's be honest, as the seasons wore on to 5, 6, 7 and on, Kelso went from the evil demonic Chief of Medicine to the cutest old man ever and I bet everyone loves him.
Remind me the Jiggly Ball reference is to?
deaddropsd1972 everyone mentions “jiggly ball” to JD, tricking him into wanting to play. Turns out “jiggly ball” was made up by the janitor so everyone can throw balls at JD
John Smith ahhhhh thx ! Rings a bell now
Especially when you watch the rest of the episode and you see the big smile that he gets his face after he goes down the stairs
Sam Lloyd , the man who played Ted died a few days ago after Battling Cancer for over a year
R.I.P
The ending to “The Way Home” get me just about every time. Actually, there are more than five endings of shows that get me every time. This show had heart and soul that was and still is very special.
Jesus, go from ending 1 where it was bittersweet but you understand and can manage a smile *immediately* to seeing ending 2 and instantly get choked up. This show was one of the most powerful on tv, ever.
The thing I especially appreciate about My Jiggly Ball is how it humanizes Kelso. Suddenly he's not a giant hardass but a real person.
Thank you Sam Lloyd. For all the laughs, for all the tears. I will never forget you and will be thankful forever! RIP sweet Ted.
Sam Lloyd was a bad ass. I loved his acting and his was a great vocalist. Miss him so much.
These endings show really good why this was a great series and much more than just another comedy show:
- not afraid to end on sad note and show the character's downs
- selection and use of music (not sure if Zach Braff had a big saying in this but I feel it plays an important role in all productions he participates)
The Wizard of Oz parody was so clever.
'How To Save A Life' by Fray released March 26, 2006
'My Lunch' episode released April 25, 2006
God damn "The Lunch" gets me every time
Rest in peace Sam🕊️ You were an amazing actor and I always believed you to be a kind soul. I wish all the power and strength for those who need it🌈
Scrubs was the best show about doctors. It has the perfect combination of drama and comedy that all of the other shows had, having the ability to go right deep into you, teaching you and making you feel what it’s like to be a doctor... without the heaviness and uncommon things other shows make you believe. I’m a doctor, and I can relate to every episode of this show.
"Yeah, you're right" does me every time. Right in the feels
the one where the janitor spends all day with the paralyzed guy is another good one, so is My boss's free haircut, in case you ever get the urge to make another video like this
Episode name?
@@JohnSmith-dz2dc the first one is “His Story III” and the second is “My Boss’ Free Haircut”
the guy who plays Ted was unfortunately diagnosed with cancer, let's hope his treatment goes well
In January 2019, Lloyd was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor, which was subsequently revealed to be metastatic lung cancer, which has spread to his liver, spine and jaw bone
@@1993spectre well rip
He said is doing well do far
@@potatopatato1565 he's not dead.
His name is Sam lloyd. He is an amazing actor and singer.
i weep like a child each and everytime i see the ending to the episode " My Old Lady " even though i've seen it about 20 times
I really thought I wouldn't sob this time
I love that the old lady comes back as one of the people who JD remembers when he leaves the hospital.
@@ashes2steel season 7 ending ? same !!
There are only so many crushing defeats that one human can handle when it comes to saving lives before he/she starts to wonder, "Do I even belong here anymore?"
The ending of My Lunch breaks my heart every time I see it.
Not many shows can make you laugh and cry like scrubs did. I miss that show.
Hey Dorothy, going home are you?
Nice.
love the scene when Dr. Cox is losing it!
one of the best actors ever
Scrubs always had a sad ending or two thrown at you...nothing is sadder than Cox breaking down after losing two patients, trying to convince himself he didn't kill them, and then losing someone that while in a similar situation could have gone another month and most likely lived without complications. I don't normally show emotions and that ending almost always makes me tear up.
This and when he finally realized his brother in law, Ben, was the patient who passed when they were at his funeral
My Old Lady is why Hallelujah always makes me cry.
The scene where the father is consulting turk after his sons death hits just so hard.
Especially when it's mixed with thr fact that turk spending time with the son wasn't something he wanted to do, but knowing the impact it made, the realisation that he made the right choice. Its beautiful piece of acting
My lunch , dr cox should have won an award for this performance and My lunch is one outstanding episode.. funny and sad moment just overwhelming
Who's here all drunk and looking for feels?
So very true
Got fired today - that's me!
Hey cool, there's other people that do that!
@@ianjohnson4541 sory lan. Hope you find another job soon!
Jen - it played out well - hired again on better terms soon after.
I still maintain that My Way Home was one of the, if not the, most perfect episodes of a television show ever made. It might be a little light, but it all blends so perfectly that it amazes me every time I watch it. This show is and will always be one of my favourites.
And it was directed by Zach Braff.
It was the first episode i ever watched of scrubs! Hooked on the spot
Mine too… love it!
This show had no business being so amazing and I miss watching it every day after high school with my high school best friend/crush everyday
I would try and get the series on DVD. It's pretty affordable.......
I effing LOVED this show! Thank you Bill Lawrence.
Yeah, season 5 kept us cutting onions Lol
I love my old lady. one of the earlier episodes that got me hooked. and the rest is history
i´d say my top 3 is #3 Ben as a Emotional but not so SUPER, #2 My Lunch as the most INTENSE i´ve ever seen, #1 would be Season 8 Ending GREAT ending he remembers everyone and looks into his future a HAPPY FAMILY Future VERYYYYY Emotional i totally cried by #2 and #1
When this show was at it's best, it was one of the best shows ever.
Ths shit make me cry
Yes, it's him! In real life, he actually is the lead singer of a cappella band (the other people singing with him are as well part of his small band : > ).
When the director of the series came to know of this, he created this hobby for the character just so he could have the actor sing in the show XD
The only show I have ever watched that could make me laugh and at times make me shed tears.
Bob Kelso is not proud, he is an old doctor, he knows that it's very intense job, he puts the mask of "The enemy" so they don't break from the stress.
Its better the doctor hate him than hating the job.
My lunch and My Fallen Idol are 2 of the best episodes (my opinion) in the entire series.
Ted's voice...always on point.
Why did I click on this? Now I'm bawling my eyes out!
Some say Dr. Cox’s sandwich is still on that table.
I have to agree the best ending is the when Ben dies, but the I also think "My Old Lady" is really good.
When I want to shed my tears, I usually watch the ending of 'My Lunch' episode
so many endings made epics cause Sam Loyds blissful voice, RIP.
scrubs was that ONE show that was funny and hit hard
I don't really think enough people talk about how amazing the Scrubs writers were at selecting music.
My Old Lady is definitely my favorite episode of the whole series!
MY BEST CHARACTER IN SCRUBS WAS SAM LOYD, aka TED> Who is going to bring a smile to my face NOW, Love Him for ever.
I wish a wizard would come and tell Me something nice.
I was doing fine during this video till I saw Ted singing.... RIP.... I'm sure your little buddy knows how great you were
im pretty sure they brightened the atmosphere in my way home is because JD produced it and it sidelined with the wizard of oz. hint: dr. cox calling him dorothy, the "yellow" line leading home, and over the rainbow playing
nickvp95 and his red shoes!
fuck, "my old lady" always ALWAYS makes me cry
The music selection was perfect for every moment.
I really love the ending to "My Catalyst"
Looking back at it like this season 5 was really something huh? Terrific show.
Was there ever a “fight” over the “Save a life” song by Grey’s Anatomy?
My last words was a hard ending. Deffinetly top 10 worthy.
#2 will always be my #1
It's not really. You'll probly found they lit it brighter and over exposed the cameras slightly to emphasize the mood.
Just a terminology thing, Saturation refers to colour intensity. Exposure refers to brightness.
I cried my heart out, luv scrubs and you made, hands down, greatest list of endings I ever saw.
my favorite show, ever!
I always end up crying cuz of the music
good list 🧡🧡
1. My ABC's
2. My Last Words
3. My Last Day
4. My Big Idea
Best series ever
really good list- i love all the endings! its amazing how the music fits so well..
That volume is annoyingly low.
Turn it up?
Salazar A. 😂
Omg video sooo freakin powerful... that ending.
Sad ones 2nd always gets me
I miss this show so much
the slow motion and Hallelujah always gets me.....
damn I love this show...
citizen cope - sideways was the first one.
not sure what the second one was.
the third one was over the rainbow sang by teds band or better known as the blanks.
the fourth one was the fray - how to save a life (love that episode plus the 2 episodes after that).
hope that helps ^_^
x
RIP Teddy Buckland
Great Ending!
For fans, I don't think there's any question that Season 5 of Scrubs was a masterpiece.
RIP TED my favorite actor in the show...
Aw man, that had me crying. That last one was rough.
I wont be the first to point out that Scrubs , a comedy, has more deaths than House MD , a dramma .
1x4 "my old lady" always make me cry, damn!
Yes, that is my #1 on the other video, go look.
I always liked Bob Kelso. Someone has to be the asshole to unite the rest. He played the role perfectly
I wish they'd put this show back on the air. It was great.
Any attempt to remake this masterpiece of a series would just ruin it. The 8th season ended the series in such a perfect way.
@@Drumbum-rw4jr i never mentioned a remake or a continuation, i just wish they'd play reruns of the show from time to time. I haven't seen it in forever
I think it's on hulu
Number 4 was the episode that broke me
I hope this show had an impact on your life just as much as it had on mine. What a beautiful show! I hope everyone can experience the magic of “Scrubs.”
Midzy Jerm it did. X
My lunch was for me #1. 😢😢
How are you going to have a video titled "My Top 5 Favorite Scrubs Endings" & only have 4? I get you said at the end click on other video for #1 but that makes this video NOT a "top 5."
did u get these clips from ure xbox?
One of my favorite shows it's a mostly goofy comedy most of the time then just hits with the depressing stuff like a fucking hammer also season 9 doesn't exist
he could do with a longer pair of trousers @ 3:29, bringing out the mj impersonations
Man, season 5 was rough, even after all these years.
RIP Sam Lloyd
last one was from the fray how to save a life
it deserver the number 1
Number 2...and Carla's face, I can read everything on her face
