I was given kits almost just like them as gifts. I use the brush for the roof of my travel trailer. The roof is kinda rubber coated so it works great to clean that and don't have to worry about scratching anything.
I have an M4 and a Porsche 968 cabriolet and use mine all of the time. With some common sense and proper technique it works fine and does absolutely nothing bad to the paint. This review is garbage. IIWII
The brush is not harsh it’s fairly soft. And if you’re dumb enough to get rocks caught in it and you don’t take them out. You get what you get. I think it does a good job and the brush works fine on the tires. But I get that you want to sell your own product. All in all I think it works great for the price.
Nice Video Josh...You're knockin these videos out like crazy ....And i'm watching your subscriber count jump up on the daily... Great content for us DIY'ers...Bro!!...Lemme get one of them DTLR Covers!!!. Lol...You got one in Desert Camo with Black Lettering??
Love your show. I would like to see/hear your thoughts on flex citrus, flex ice, p and s terminator, p and s carpet bomber or realeasit. Thank you for all your videos.
Hey Josh, thank you so much for your response. One last thing...promise..lol if I pull seats out ( my friend has a dog...enough said ) and the seats disconnect from the wiring harness, will throwing a code cause problems if I dont disconnect the battery and reinstall the seats? What does disconnecting the negative side of a battery do in terms of resetting the computer and such? I dont understand the logistics of that. ( from another video) Thanks again for responding! You rock! Barb
I bought a similar kit with that pole brush but only use it for truck with tonneau covers (textured). I do not use it with the hose attached, seems like too much drag if attached. Perhaps great to clean interior of boats perhaps?
Thanks buddy. That hose sprayer would be good for a DIY child:) Washing their plastic lambo. I can’t recall if you did a review for the harbor freight foam cannon but with the 1:1 orifice it foams really well for the $.
I got a black car and got a coating from the dealer but it didn’t do anything. My driveway has plants that scrape up my paint 😭. I’m always looking for ways to not damage my paint more 🤦🏽♀️.
Can you review the RAWSHIFT AR-15 pressure washer wand lol. I've watched a lot of your videos on car detailing which made me purchase some things from your channel. Thx for the great tips and tricks for things!
Hey josh, I'd like to hear your suggestions on what I can do to produce thick foam for a wash. I've been having trouble finding a good solution for a portable foam cannon. Currently I use the 3 bucket method at a self service Coin Wash bay and rinse the car before and after. Is there a way to hook up the MJCC foam cannon to the Coin wash wand? or Would a pressure washer and foam cannon set up be the only option exclusively to produce foam? I live in an apartment so don't have water or power outlet available. My idea is to use a Active-VE52 electric pressure washer and MJCC foam cannon. My questions are: 1) How can you power the electric pressure washer? 2) Would a battery powered portable power station provide enough power/amps to run the pressure washer? 3) Is a 5gal bucket filled with water enough water to foam the entire car? 4) And would you need a pump to direct the water from the bucket through the pressure washer? Would be super helpful for us living the apartment life to see a video like this!
Chemical guys has a video on how to wash your car if you live in a apartment complex and don't have access to running water using those pump containers I think they call It mr. Sprayer
Do you think a 2000 psi pressure washer like the greenworks on Amazon is good enough for the MJJC foam cannon for car washing, plus for other general cleaninglike decks, stairs, asphalt driveway, and siding? Or is that not enough pressure? Thanks
I've used this on my honda plenty of times and nothing of what you're talking about seems like that would happen to a person who doesn't have commen sense or just throws it around it works perfectly
Another great video! I have a Dodge pickup with a fold up bed cover. It has for panels and they are hard plastic and the surface is not smooth but kind of rough and it's hard to gey all the dirt out! Would that brush system be ok or do you suggest something else? Thanks again!!
The MJJC Foam Cannon just looks so good and at a good price, the only reason I haven't bought one is because I need a pressure washer first 😄 Still undecided on 4-5 options
The active 2.0 pressure washer is about to release this month. I'm in line for one. The stats are amazing even on the first active machine. That and cat both use the same pump and it's very impressive.
@@imjoshv Mostly the ones you've tested. A $100 Craftsman 1700, the Dewalt 2100 but that is now up to $300 at HD, the Greenworks 2300 but the lag seems annoying, the Active v52 but they have some QA issues. And then there is an untested Makita dhw080 but it's 1.45gpm @ 800psi, not sure if 800psi cuts it at that gpm.
@@Centaur008 The New active does look great but i think its supposed to be a bit more expensive than the old one. Im not 100% sure about that though. The greenworks 2300 will get the best numbers of the ones you have listed. If you can get past the ramp up that would be the machine id probably go with. Good warranty too and greenworks is a huge company. amzn.to/3aAEUqa
I was wondering if you could review the Armor All 2 in one foam cannon kit and see if you can get better foam out of it. I noticed it has 2 different orifices one for a regular water hose and one for a pressure washer. Do you know if there is a place that makes replacement orifices that has the two different sizes for guns like this?
Hey Josh, just want to give you some info I got today regarding our conversation. I was told that putting a battery charger on the battery while cleaning is the best way to go. It wont die and you wont lose programs and codes or have to charge it or run it to cycle it.
Hey there Josh, quick question. I cleaned a Honda Odessy last year for a friend and killed the battery. Do you disconnect the battery in your rigs??? I saw a video by Chris Fix and he says he disconnects the LEFT side terminal. I have not seen any more detailing videos that say to do this. I am not a professional, just do it once in awhile. Thanks Barb
Hi barb I don’t usually disconnect unless I’m pulling out seats which could throw a code. BUT, if you are working for a long time on the interior the doors being open and keeping door lights on could cause a weaker battery to drain completely. It’s happened to me before. I still don’t disconnect the battery (it can reset the computer and a drive cycle would need to be done to pass smog) but I do carry a small just starter with me just in case. I use this one and like it a lot! www.amazon.com/dp/B08M41FX48/?tag=detailgreen-20
Glad you talked about this. I was thinking about getting the brush option just to clean inner wheel wells, definitely not for paint. Any advice for cleaning the undercarriage?
It does not surprise me that Costco is a foam gun which attaches to users garden hose. This a case of knowing your customer and keeping it simple S..... Costco sold the original MTM foam cannon on their website a few years ago, but had so many returned and complaints from members who were not detailers or pressure washing professionals. Reason for the returns and complaints being people didn't reading the description or instructions and attempted attaching the MTM to their garden hose. Of the cannon didn't attach to the garden hose and thus didn't work. MTM pulled the product from Costco as people were posting negative product reviews of the cannon. Further this program was a logistical problem for MTM. As MTM shipped the cannon, provided a lot of customer support and handled many of the returns. A side note 3D sold products through Costco website as well for a short period of time.
Thnx. It just goes to show you how popular DIY detailing has become. But imported products are not high quality and not the way to go. "Buy cheap, buy twice".
No matter how good of an automated car wash you might find, they always leave gaps of dirt in various places on your vehicle’s surface and never really get wheels right and if you spend money and wind up having to go over missed spots manually when you get home you are better off going DIY and do it right they way you want it done. It’s not about the cost. If you aren’t satisfied with the quality of an automated car wash why waste time doing it anyway. Just my 2¢ Also advertisers love to print words on packaging like “professional, expert, advanced quality/technology, etc” and they never are …… The word professional raises the price point several bucks. 🤦🏻♂️
Agreed. I’d only say a company car or beater. Speaking of beating that’s what I dislike even more about Automatic car washes. They beat the crap out of cars. Last time I went through one my wiper blade got ripped off. Had to get out and grab before car behind me came thru. Even the ID tag they give you ended up making the plastic trim around window come off. Now that I think about it I hate those g dam places!!:) Accept for the free vacuums.
At first, I liked your video then I realized you deliberately wanted to slam a product not used by you. And you made up misinformation about the amount of soap required for the pressure waster system versus the hose system saving you money; in theory, yes, but in reality, no. The brush you sell is also no different than the one in the kit; saying it's heavier doesn't make it any better or worse; maybe your brush is junk because it's heavier???? Let's compare a Ferrari to a snail next time. It's essentially what you did. Most of your videos are ok, but this was very biased and misleading. Sorry to have to give it a thumbs down.
The double shot is garbage. I'm 6ft 220 lbs and very fit. Wrestling with this item once the hose is attached and turned on is like wrestling with an Anaconda. Although I have never wrestled an anaconda . The head is garbage. The soap reservoir empties within seconds. If you don't hold the head in the perfect position you will.beat up your vehicle . I used it once and all you feel/hear is THUMP THUMP THUMP. You are going to beat the crap out of your car if you use this item. NO STARS OUT OF 5.
Thank you, I could not figure out how to open this brush to add soap!
Agreed! Bought the 1st kit not for vehicles but for my solar panels… works great! Definitely not recommended for anyones car paint.
Great idea for solar panels!

Yea that’s a perfect application for that!!
Once you've spent your money on it, it has served it's INTENDED purpose!
Thank you so much. I just brought a set from Costco to wash my Porsche Cayenne. I am so glad I found you before I use it on my car.
You bet!! If you just stick to a few essentials you can get the results your looking for!!
And I love the cayenne! I have a cayman and it’s so much fun. I’ve been looking at some cayenne’s for my wife

I saw these kits the other day and laughed to myself, not for me, thanks Josh 👍😁
Thank you so much bro my girlfriend bought this from Costco as a surprise gift. Won’t be using it.
The first kit with the large brush head would be great to use to clean my garage doors.
Great video! I got the Amazon Basics foam cannon and upgraded the orifice after watching your review and it works surprisingly well!
Awesome!
You’re correct with your review on the double shot the Costco reviews are awful no one seems to like this thing

The brush one may be a good fit for a composite deck.
I just saw the telescoping one. I did but that turtle wax soap you said was pretty good.

Question which electric pressure washer would you recommend for overall use. The ryobi 2300, dewalt 2300, Bauer 2300 or any other one that you suggest
Ryobi
