If anyone is watching this, please note that Peachy mixes Soulblight with water 1:1 in the full video, but mentions straight Soulblight in this video. For my money, the 1:1 helps produce a cleaner white, so watch out
White armour isn't just white, there's shadows, dirt stuff like that. I dare you to find smth white in your house that doesn't have grey areas and a bit of grime. Adds dimension! Happy crafting
How many sprays did it take to get that white scar undercoat?!? I’ve sprayed 2-3 passes with the can shaken up for ages and it’s so spotty and incomplete, totally different to how easily chaos black spray goes on…
We just used one pass on this, and have done with a few other minis too. Weather conditions maybe? Peachy also says "avoid stopping and starting spraying as that deposits dusty paint on the mini. Start spraying off then bring the mini to the spray and move it around until it's covered." Hope that helps!
@@thepaintingphase I tried again and realised I wasn’t being “aggressive” enough with spraying, I was so worried I would over spray that I was under spraying the needed amount of paint. Needed to spray more than with my chaos black can. Anyway now I have some nice white clones and stormtroopers waiting some soul blight grey, thanks for the reply! Your tutorials look great so subscribed 🙂
Whatever you like, they're all really good. Some have better certain colours than others but they're generally similar enough when you're starting out. We use a lot of AK interactive at the moment.
Their from the game Star Wars Legion, and you can get them from most miniature retailers, We use element games check the affiliate link in the description
Would you ever consider doing painting videos for custom printed legion models, darkfiredesigns has some stellar molds that I think you’d do an excellent job painting
Initially I thought so too, but adding those different legion markings on (see the UA-cam vid) definitely adds to the aesthetic. Useful guide for white armour though, regardless of mini.
I have this strange desire to paint clonetrooper minis in classic "plastic army men" green.

FOR THE REPUBLIC!!!
Fantastic little guide, thanks! :)

The ear bud on the citidel pot 👀......... Game changer 😂
Bro… forget about the stormtrooper for a minute… propping open the paint pot like that is brilliant. Idk how I never thought of that
🤣👍
Simple and effective!
I think you should make a 422nd siege battalion clone trooper 🙏
My brain kept going “Cody Cody Cody Cody”
The arch troops are fun to paint too
This guy deserves a medal
Bold Titanium White 🤍
Could you explain why people put slow break gray or other gray washes on white armor
It's a simple way of adding some shading to the recessed areas of the model, parts that would be darker in real life. It breaks up the all white look.

I believe we might have some of those, alas we'll try to fit them into the queue.
Don't do it, you're not very good at painting 🖌️ complete waste of time.
@@TimmsyTFG ok.
Why are you painting your clone trooper like they are s storm trooper? Where's the color?

What a boring model to paint

What’d you expect from a WHITE TROOPER
