I was one of the first sportbikes that used to hang out on Clearwater Beach back in the mid to late 1990s, there were only 5 or 6 of us back then. We used to knock time into the turn dial parking meters with the last knuckle of our fist, there were no high rise condos, no roundabout, and there was a two lane drawbridge on the causeway with the seethrough lattice so you could watch the water below as you passed over. First time I went there was 1995, 1992 black blue silver GSXR 750 old air and oil cooled motor, then a 1993 ZX7 green blue white, 2000 Aprillia RSV Mille black silver before they became popular and no one even heard of em, 2003 GSXR 1000 rootbeer candy black peral white in the Gixxer graphix with perfornance machine roullette wheels, 6in extended, R1 07 Blue and white black frame. Ect. Ect. Those were the days, like I said there were only a hand full of us, some nights maybe only 3 or 4 of us, and we all knew eachother. Makes me wana cross the state just to go there for old time sake.

Lmfao so you and your buddies are the reason we can’t ride there today. Any time I go out I always get pulled over but then ofc I’m on a turbo bike but still it’s not nearly as loud as this nitrous bike.
I don't care if some states don't have a helmet law it is by far the stupidest decision not to wear a helmet while riding any type of motorcycle. Looking cool is more important than your skull and safety apparently.

I live in Clearwater and I can tell you those guys are fools riding around this area without helmets and gear. Every time I take my bike out for a few mile ride 2-3 drivers almost kill me. Even a Clearwater City truck pulled right across the road and stopped in front of me as I was doing the 35 mph speed limit.

Honestly, I can understand not wearing gear. At the speeds these guys are probably going, gear wouldn’t matter. But a helmet? Even hitting your head doing 20 mph on something is more than enough to cause serious injury or death.
