    What are the best roaters and pads to buy

    • @Fwerks.1592
      @Fwerks.1592  Рік тому

      So here is my list of good brand or rotors and pads! This is my personal preference!
      For Rotors: Pagid, Brembo, Ate, Zimmerman, OEM Mercedes, EBC
      For Pads: my personal favorite is Pagid semi-metallic it has a hard bite, Ferodo pads, Textar, OEM Mercedes, hawk pads. I truly dislike Akebono Euro pads! They are only good to keep the wheels clean, but as far as stopping power it lacks. I’m running those pads currently on my bmw and it has horrible stopping power. Sometimes my ABS kicks in. Hopefully this information was helpful!

    This job is not for you. You're in too much of a hurry and you're in a hurry. You throw everything everywhere.
    Also, the edges where the pads rest on the brake caliper are smeared with ATE Plastilube.
    And the drivers with ATE Bremszylinder-Paste. Because not all lubricants are good for rubber seals.
    And never put a paste on a HUB where the brake rotor sit. This will cause unbalance in brake rotor!
    Good luck

      Thank you, how can anyone mess up a brake job? Easiest job there is to do! I’ve never heard anti-seize on the hub creating an “unbalanced rotor or wheel”. I’m sorry this video didn’t really help you.

      @@Fwerks.1592 Thanks for the answer. You can mess very bad, especially when paint the entire brake caliper with brake pads. This is totally wrong. They should be able to move freely. Mine car was vibrations in the rear. Someone was painted brakes exactly like yours...
      Brake calipers and brake pads was unable to move freely. Just clean the paint and lubricate drivers and pads, everything back to normal.
      Also if you put bad lubricant on rubber seal... it will go apart very soon. Due to ingredients of lubricant. And after that, all rubber seals are for the trash. This will double the work.
      There is a special lubricants for rubber seals.
      This is another way to mess up with the brakes : )
      Please take a look this video, hope help you to understand better what I mean.

      Q… Do you have to turn off the air suspension before you lift the car to remove the tires ?

      @Fwerks.1592  2 роки тому +1

      @@lewisbey752 , I’m my case no I did not. Since I jacked all wheels at the same time. I didn’t have any problems when I set it back down.

    absolutely does not belong there!!This is a first class piggery.put this on video!!My God.
    what about the paste under the wheels?

      Thank you for watching Autodoprava MK-UNIMA. I don’t see you putting any videos out there showing us the right way. Also that paste your talking about, we live in the Midwest area and we get lots of rust out here! It’s common for anti-seize to be used in this area to avoid the rust from welding. Thank you
