Use Gpu for even faster rendering (If yGpu box is grayed out : 1.Go to Edit->Preferences. 2. Open the systems section. 3. At the top, find Cycles render devices. ... 4.Make sure that the checkbox next to your Graphics card is checked. 5.Check the box next to your CPU if you want to use both GPU and CPU. 6.Close the preference window)
@@games528 That's not true. You can still define the tile size under performance. Predefined is 2048x2048. It just makes no sense because CyclesX ist optimized for huge tiles. I tried it out and with 64x64 tiles it took 2.5 times longer.
While CylcesX is faster on RTXs, the comparison you preapred is very unfair. You know you can enable progressive rendering in Blender 2.93 as well, right? So all pixels get rendered the same time as in CyclesX. It would be more interesting to compare both renderers when they work in the same mode. Kinda pointless video and there are plenty of such already on YT.
Try this, in cycles if you increase the tile size to 480*480 cycles will render faster than cycles x
Ok will give it a try
Great video👍 Continue the works mate... Though for music you could try some lofi once this one is abit louder kind of😅😅👍🏻
Agreed a bit loud
needs more ukulele and glockenspiel lol
So happy
I use 3.0. But where can I turn on cycle X? Thanks
Its cycles, the X is to represent the 10th year anniversary but it should be faster
For me 2.93 is faster. Becouse i have non-RTX GPU i can only use OpenCL. But inside blender 3.0 there is no such option, only CPU or RTX GPU API

maybe he doesn't have gpu
@@daniell23846 Maybe he didnt know so I wrote it anyways
3.1blender is 3X faster on Cycle rendering evee also faster more than 2X. I also used cpu core i5 7th gen.
Blender 3.1 Alpha
what sample settings?
For blender 3.0?
I almost set my pc on fire for rendering 4000+ sample cycles x using cpu. I don't know why it get to high than 2.93 v
Try reducing the number in the rendering tab where where you switch rendering engines
@@Glitchy7 oo yeah i totally forget about that. Thanks
So cycle x makes rendering tiles equal to the image resolution, whereas in standard cycle it is 64 x 64 by default.
No, cycles X no longer uses rendering tiles.
@@games528 Is it samples

I’m assuming you’re on a mac?
Windows
@@Glitchy7 Then why are you using the CPU render for Cycles?
@@SeanyKrabs Because the GPU is not compatible
@@SeanyKrabs some of us are broke man
@@Glitchy7 If you have an AMD GPU, it’s still faster than a CPU.
Im so sad i have 2gb ram intel 3d gpu (never heard of it but has thtat)and a 2 ghz cpu
No GPU rendering uhmmmm....
No, my GPU is not compatible so yeah it's CPU
What is the music called by the way?
I got it from a channel called Vlog no copyright music

@@Glitchy7 Thanks
How can I get this new build to not render slow
As fuck??? It’s so shitty
What pc or laptop do you have?
