Every single video I see I am amazed by both your understanding of blender / math but also the fact that all of this exists. Its actually fucking insane. Human inventions are crazzzzyyyy

I just watched this movie. lol
I rubbed my eyes when I saw your channel with the thumbnail and title. My favorite geometry nodes UA-camr making something based on my favorite movie of the year? I'm dreaming, right?

the more I watch your videos the less complicated they appear to be.
I remember doing something like that some time ago on my own.

did you know you could hit control+R once you have selected a face or vertex if you want to select more and the keep hitting + over and over if you want to select more instead of manually typing more and then a repeat command , people don't have enough time

11:41 What you can also do is to use an Attribute node with Type: View Layer and Name: frame_current instead of creating a Driver with #frame.
Since Drivers tend to break sometimes for no apparent reason (at least they do for me) I feel like thats a better but less known solution.
Bonus: with the Attribute render.fps you can easily get the current frame rate which is useful for building a simple Frame/Scene time node group.

There is also a lens distortion over her eyes from the front glass that overlays the inside matrixy stuff. Missed that.

he doesn't work in the industry using industry tools. he is used to making 3 minute tutorials for blender users.. he's not concerned with accuracy or the polish at the end.

Great video, I’d definitely flip the uv to invert the animation. Next time right click the UV and flip it horizontally.

Thanks for this tutorial, I literally had the intention of modeling the wild robot when I saw the trailer. The model looks simple yet complicated to model, plus am really bad at modeling also

hey man i came from the backrooms blender video from 3 years ago, i know its off topic and all,but i just wanted to give some feedback, it was my first time opening the blender app for me and i saw your video and only got half way through it before giving up. i’m surprised i even made it that far but my previous high school video experience allowed me to get that far(i just graduated) if you feel like doing a more in depth tutorial let me know id be very happy to watch
