Thanks for this kit I bought the kit a few weeks back and it going into my 97 cclb f350 4x4 5 speed manual i did all the mods to a new diesel radiator core support I didn't have to use the transmission cooler brackets but it was nice to have them In the kit only thing I have to do now is modify the hood latch thanks for the instructions on your page and the videos on here it help alot
I've got a '97 CC and ordered/received this kit end of Feb. (great design) I had previously installed a 6.0 trans cooler and had been gathering parts for a major upgrade on my truck including intercooler which is SD aluminum version. I do some custom work and my son has a custom exhaust & turbo fabrication/installation business, but when I/we saw your kit I was sold on what you had designed. Knee surgery has put a hold on my project though I did debur my kits parts and primed them for paint. I was a bit concerned with remounting my trans cooler because i had hung it with "lines up" and removed 2 brackets and flattened the other 2 brackets (which I will now need) for mounting. Fortunately, I believe the brackets can be re-bent & my lines are long enough... will see when I can get back on this project. Thanks for great documentation and videos!
Ohhh come on I feel like it was too convenient that I just bought mine and you posted this. By the way, love your mirrors brackets, got my set 2 months ago and got them tig welded and they are fantastic, changed the look of the truck completely.
@@obssolutions1466 Definitely will send you guys some pics when the truck is complete, I'm doing alot of work to it right now to include paint in the the next 6 months.
@@davidhodson3264 If you read the description on obs solutions website it clearly states that the kit is meant for a superduty cooler to a obs or the other cooler they mention. Kit is well worth it for the ease of installation of a cooler.
Thanks for the vid! Any suggestions for parts/tutorials on getting an intercooler into a 2003 E350 7.3L? I'm having a hard time finding that truck build. Have to give up AC for getting an intercooler on the front?
The Intercooler was built by Icebox Performance especially for the OBS Ford Trucks. It's based on a 1999-03 7.3 Superduty Intercooler with adjustments to optimize fitment in the older trucks. We will be selling them shortly, waiting for our stock order.
No, you'll still.need to modify the 99-03 Superduty pipes to work correctly. We will have a piping kit available soon for the stock turbo and 7.3 Superduty intercooler.

Cfs 6017 should be the cooler
@obssolutions does this kit work on a 1996 f250 xl 2wd
Yes, however 2wd trucks can't retain the front sway bar due to clearance.
Awesome, thank you. Is that safe removed the swaybar

Only thing I was trying to figure out is the bottom support for the radiator
What kit did the intercooler come from. Very interested in this for my 1997 CCLB that I'm building into a dually 4x4.
Thanks

What intercooler do you use? And will this kit work on a 87-91 truck
Will this setup provide better fitment for the factory SD intercooler pipes?
