@@calebames6842 I bought the Sky 2" RSK and it installed perfectly. I wanted a 6" lift or so, so I added a rough country 4" lift kit while I was installing the d60. My truck ended up over 10.5 inches taller in the front with all the new parts compared to the worn out f250 stuff. I had to buy 6" rear springs and 4" blocks for the rear to level it out. I bought a pmf adjustable track bar and the pmf extended brake line kit from cpaddict too. Hope to have it on the road on the next few weekends

@@calebames6842 I really didn't want more than the 6" of lift though. I'll likely end up removing the lift springs to bring it back down some. It's got 37 inch boggers now that look a little too small honestly with the current set up.

The shackle in front of the axle is cheaper than behind because of a having a stiffer frame horn. The stiffness is because the axle wants to move towards the back on the truck when hitting a bump while the front shackles require the axle to move to the front. Before 1980 the front leafs on Fords were mounted with the shackle to the rear.

you have to look at the leaf spring under load to understand how the front shackle... "works"
the reverse arch of the leaf springs pulls the shackle backwards with the movement of the impact inertia...
the biggest problem with this setup, is alot of bounce and its inherently rough ride...
the other reason is, the frame is higher up front, lower in the back... so of course you cant put the shackle in back to have any hope of normal people wanting a fair step up into a new truck, it would be to high
