I'm so glad you decided to share this with the world! I would love to hear any stories you might have about working at Sega. If possible, I would love for the ROM to be released too. But that is entirely up to you. I know you are probably a busy man. Either way, great uploads!
probably won't be ripping and dumping ROMs anytime soon. Very complicated ownership situations; multiple composers involved; as well as publisher issues. I'm just posting tracks that I did.
Woah never heard this before. Theres a Baby Boom early proto found but i dont remember this song on it. Keep it up and preserve/show us those lost files!
Sega Interactive worked in a Super Star Wars port in 1993 for the Genesis/Sega CD, do you have any infos or even files to share about this project? Thank you and keep it up!

@@m1crowave so you don’t have a midi file of the 1.1 bios then? That was my favorite one but I’ve never seen anyone do a recreation of it, they always do the version 2 song.
It even includes a unique Sega logo! The logo shown was never used in a commercially released title.

There’s a good number of others, apparently. The Teradrive store demo also has a logo that was never used in a commercial game release.
Unused SEGA logo on an unreleased test cartridge.
This is why I love the Genesis soundchip the capability of it allows creative composers to do so much.
Huh. This is neat. Especially the fact this game never got released. Stay cool

Are there anymore Sonic 2 tracks in the rom? Cus if so, why not just ask the sonic team for permission to upload those tracks?
Lyric Entertainment well, he can't because the other composers still have rights to those songs. Everything here is stuff he made.
Nobody cares and you’re not that important just post it dude

Now the mystery is, what kind of sick man did that sonic animation?
YourTechGuy
And also if there’s any others squirreled away.
everybody gangsta till the jetpack clown shows up with da M60 and da street sign
Part of me now thinks that the little Sonic animation is going to be implemented into a Mania sequel somehow.

Gives me spongebob vibes
It is a classic cartoon anthem originally written by Raymond Scott. Most probably it has been used in Sponge Bob!

It’s a shame it fell through. Super Star Wars would have been rad on genesis with the blast processing and all lol

I could just imagine this being used in one of those Looney Tunes games.
The original composition was by Raymond Scott and was actually used in Looney Tunes; arranged by Carl Stalling!
pretty good not gonna lie
Whah is this suggeted to me? I like the song dou, cuz it reminds me of a soundtrack called Crash & Burn in CTWoC, you gotta give it a shot for sure.
to me it's calliope from madness 3 avenger
So am I really the only one who instantly recognizes the Raymond Scott songs in the comments? You know, often used in many, many cartoons?
i only recognise it from madness
For some reason, the Power House Master sounds like the Phantasy Star 1 battle theme.
i'm very confused at the beggining-
but this is so cool ovo
baby module
Baby module 0 sounds really familiar to me
Seems to be a remix of a portion of "Powerhouse" by Raymond Scott.
This could explain why it seems to be titled "Power Test"

XD this is amazing.
@The Eternal Induction Eg
Sounds very similar to a song used in the simpsons game
Did the license deal go through, though? The prototype has a more modern, similar-sounding tune instead.
This uses the GENS format which sounds lesser quality than the other format. That's why the dumped Prototype sounds better than this.

Hello! I was just wondering something, did you do the music tracks that are in the prototypes for Baby Boom or someone else did them?
I transcribed and arranged them for Sega Genesis. The original composition was Raymond Scott from the 1930s!! Later used in cartoons!
Is there more
Jeez that sounds kinda scary and would probably fit with megalovania.
I'm not sure if you're joking or not, but that's clearly Powerhouse by Raymond Scott. It's an extremely well known song.
