I shaved my head shiny bald 2 months ago in support of my favorite aunt. Now that I work remotely, I’d just take my laptop, work from her house and leave after dinner. When I casually walked in her house with a matching bald she was soooo surprised and once the initial shock wore off she was constantly touching my lumpy head laughing and saying “wow”.
She recently lost her battle and now I’m the only bald female in the family. It’s kind of a weird and lonely feeling but I don’t regret doing it ... Sometimes I wish I did it sooner.

@@SatshyaTharien My hair feels damaged and I've dyed it more than 4 times. I dyed it ginger once and it keeps turning red no matter what I do with it and it has split ends and falls out a lot. It seems like it won't grow past my mid back. It falls out when I run my hand through it and when I pull excess from the ends. My scalp itches and I pull stuff out of it and I feel it is time to shave it and wear a wig when I go out in public. Will my hair be healthier if I shave it? Is there a possibility it won't grow back at all? I'm worried about that. I'm only 20 years old
@@rebeccamayer1287 hey Rebecca - honestly I don't know. A dermatologist would be the best to answer this question. But personally, I did feel better about my hair once I shaved it and it grew fresh back again

It sounds to me like if you hadn't shaved your head, you would instead have shaved away years of your life being with a man like that. If he abandoned you so easily over something so small that was your personal choice and did not harm him in any way, imagine how quickly he would've left if you ever got in an actual problem and he actually had to deal with issues. Thank your stars you made that decision you got to see his true colours now instead of in a situation when you were vulnerable.

I shaved my head yesterday as a part of my spiritual awakening. It feels very liberating to do anything you want. But also I haven’t gone out in public yet so I’m nervous because EGO. But I have a feeling I’ll feel better not receiving as much toxic energy.

@@Ranbirsopcartoon09 I’ve gotten a lot of compliments and women telling me I’m brave and inspirational. It’s not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. It’s really just the ego that freaks you out a bit. Be confident about it and you should be fine.

I highly recommend it...I now litterly take 30 seconds to do my hair...becouse I left a short frindge when I shavded.

I shaved my Head 5 months ago... And I do not regret it even a little bit
I am now used to wear scarf and so happy to see those smooth and black hair came back... Which started falling Before shaving head just because of summer camp... I am so happy now and excited how I will look when I will have short straight hair... So inspiring😇

I shaved my head today. I thought to donate my hair to cancer foundation to make wigs. I had 47cm long hair. Must say don't regret a bit. I feel great. Thanks for this vedio and so amazing to see many women like to do it. It's amazing feeling.

I am a guy, had shoulder length hair for the past 2 years. Shaved today. It doesn't look bad but some poor choices led me to baldness and bad hair quality. I am actually getting a transplant tomorrow, about 1400 grafts and them planning to grow it all out again but now with extreme care.

@@noon9531 Yes. Given that you are massaging with coconut oil and stuff. If you are facing baldness, you may need to use minoxidil lotion. It definitely grows better if you do these.

I buzzed mine a couple of days ago with an 8 guard because I didn't dare go shorter. And I found out my head is an ugly shape. 🙄 You, and every other woman on UA-cam who have buzzed their hair, look amazing. Also, I love your accent. Your English is still extremely easy to understand .

I shaved my head five years ago and kept it shaved (slick at times) the whole time, except a couple of times I had a very short (quarter inch) boy fade. I had very long hair all my life. I loved it. I want to grow it back out now just because I’m tired of it but I also don’t want to have to style it or all of the care…but I can’t get past the boy fade cut without being tired of it and shaving it off. I want the look of my long hair but I LOVE the ease of not having to worry about it and the freedom of being bald. I don’t know what I want to do anymore. It’s a definite test to grow it back out. Congratulations on successfully letting yours grow back! 😁

@@vaigaunni9571 I just used clippers, at home. I have shaved it with a razor before but it breaks out. Every time it gets more than two weeks of growth I can’t stand the feeling of it and shave it again so there’s no progress with growing it out. I forgot I even posted that comment or that I was tired of it! 😂😂

Thank u so much.. after 3 years ur video is helpful still.. i had recently shaved my head during my son's mundan ceremony and though it was for spiritual purposes I felt very overwhelmed about societal expectations and my dependence on PPL liking me for my hair.. but then once it was shaved I felt so good.. and now I have more time to enjoy with my toddler son who loves pulling in my short hair and I love it too ❤

But what really gets me is that people who you talk to on daily basis giving you the weird look as if they don't like what they see. Telling it on your face that you look different.
But I've grown to not care anymore and will instead focus on improving my health.

I’m at the point where I want my hair to grow now. At one point I was completely bald not on purpose I did that on accident lol but I’ve shaved my head about 3 times now. I hope anyone I date will be okay about that because it’s my coping mechanism. Hopefully I get to the point where I can grow it out though. I did it mostly for those people who are having a hard time standing up for themselves like those that are different to. The worldly way says that beauty matters and that statement doesn’t sit right with me so I told myself I’d shave my head until I love myself. Getting there but I really don’t want to have to keep shaving it so I’m just gonna turn to God at this point lol

I just shaved my hair today at 2 pm n now I'm watching this , the reason of shaving my hair is bcuz of too much dandruff and hair thinning , know one told me that i don't have to sampoo everyday , but i did. I shampoo my hair twice a day when it's too much hot, and I'm happy now going for a new hair journey starting today

I didn't think much when I was shaving my head I was fascinated to do so and wanted to feel what it feels like ...

I face the problem of weird hairstyle most of the time.
I usually get my hair cut everytime almost to a boy cut and when it grows out most of the time my hair at the back is longer.
There are days when you feel amazing with your haircut and some days not. And the constant confusion whether to let it grow out and have a few weeks of bad hairstyle or just cut it back short. Haven’t yet shaved my head, but having short hair itself feels empowering and you feel different and special from a crowd.
If I do have a regret it is the fact that I can’t do the “hair flip” back at other girls but otherwise it’s worth the sacrifice:)

As someone who has had a pixie cut earlier, I do understand the pains of growing out a pixie cut. I grew it out faster by taking biotin, and settled for a short bob.
You should do what you wanna do. A lot of people had "opinions" on what I should do with my hair and its best to take their advice with a pinch of salt

I shaved my head into a mohawk and it was very empowering but took some time to feel beautiful
I am thinking of going for a headshave (to donate to cancer patients' wig) and also some of the reasons in this video. I do feel quite nervous now. But i know i have to do this as an honour to someone close to me whom I lost to cancer. My family is kind of aversive still.but hopefully they will fully understand my obligations. Lets hope for the best

@@vaigaunni9571 shaved at my home. But i see nowadays that some parlours offer a free headshave (sorry i do not know the names so u will have to search). It was an incredible experience..now my hairs have grown back but one thing is that i am never ever going to be insecure about my looks. Feels more powerful and more connected to my inner self than appearance.
Just one suggestion. Do not try razor to shave ur head..go for trimmer (i tried razor and my scalp has been super dry since then). I am trying to reverse it by regular oiling..

I think I had normal hair fall / but I had really dry hair from colouring it. So I feel like shaving helped me grow baby soft hair again.
I wanna shave my head too. A lot of people (almost everyone) doesn't want me to go through with it. I just cut it for the first time yesterday. It looks okay and I just want my hair back and I wanna shave it too. I cut off 17 inches and still got around 5-6 inches left. How long will it take to grow it back all the way as it was if I shave it?
It’s your body just shave it I’d say it should take about a year to grow it to about 6 inches

Nikita Khandelwal I just got it shaved in a salon. I don’t think your hair roots will get harmed since you are just shaving it, but you can consult a hair stylist

I naturally have thick, straight and smooth hair
But because of dandruff most of my hair fall out and isn't as thick as it used to be

@@harshapriyadarshini6997 i used to have very straight and smooth hair till i was in 8th class( 12yrs old ) and i shaved my hair because of excessive hairfall i must say my hairfall literally stopped ,..but sadly my hair turned curly and frizzy and now i am 20 yrs old and i have really long curly hair , 😌 miss old days when i used to have straight hair but curly hair are also pretty !!!

Hello, can i ask?my hair is actually dry and thick.I was rebonded 2 times and i didn't took care of it that's why my is very aaaa, idk what to say but if i ever shave my hair, what will happen?I'm 14 yrs old now.The first time i got rebonded was like 11 and then the second time was 12.
I really wanted to shave my head...but it's very heart breaking for my parents, friends and for my boyfriend as well...
