i watch these videos, each of them filled with a huge flood of new and breathtaking ideas... what a masternind of craftmansship this must be... all of this without a single word, and yet this person is speaking to the world and sharing with displaying his working hands...

I came across this video by chance. Although I don’t have much knowledge about carpentry, the video was incredibly clear and required no explanation. Everything was well-organized, concise, and self-explanatory. Superb! 👏
I can’t wait to make (and use) this! I’ve watched this like five times. All of your videos are so inspiring not to mention simultaneously meditative and activating! I’m either going to chill and marvel at your artistry, or get off the couch and into my shop to try and put what I’ve learned into practice! Thank you!
Every time I watch one of your router videos, my understanding of my new router doubles. Very helpful content, professional production value. Excellent videos. Thank you.
One of the most innovative , informative, and “to the point” channels for woodworking enthusiasts! Thanks for sharing your knowledge and generosity. The jig making plans are super helpful.
It sounds like you're deeply inspired by the videos and the craftsmanship you’ve witnessed. The mastery of woodworking or any form of creation that communicates without words is truly remarkable. The way these creators let their hands do the talking, conveying skill, passion, and knowledge through action alone, is a universal language that resonates with viewers across the world.
I'm getting more into woodworking and making jigs out of wood rather than steel, aluminum, etc. I'm a big proponent of making jigs and other tool accessories for custom projects (sculptures, etc.). Often, I just use whatever 'scrap' materials I have at hand. Watching these videos has led me to think more in terms of building jigs/adapters/etc. which are tool-specific, general-purpose, and constructed to last. As someone who has worked with various metals, the part at 5:30 where you drill and then tap the aluminum is great to see. Often, I'll see people use a drill/tap combination bit as opposed to doing it in two steps. For anyone looking to drill and tap anything, a using a properly sized drill bit and then tapping by hand will give you more control and better threads. The drill/tap bits are usually not great quality (at least from the big box stores) and will wear out quickly as proper taps are of much harder steel than most drill bits, and the speed used to drill (esp. steel) is much higher than you need for tapping (cutting threads). For Aluminum, when using a combination bit, it's easy to end up with loose/damaged threads. I really like the steel peg you made out of a cut off machine screw and rounded with 'sand paper' - nice touch. Edit: In the US, the trim/router shown here is sold under the Metabo name. I'm not sure if there are any major differences.

I drew my own plans, before I got to the end. Based on my router of course, I was happy to see how close they came to the ones at the end. (yes, if I'd of watched the whole thing...but I knew I wanted it ASAP). THANK YOU.
Many thanks for uploading this! Just the simplest and most amazing and useful home-made woodworking gizmo that I have seen - this is what UA-cam is great for! (I will be making one!)
Super cool. I look forward to trying this. I had to resize for my router, but very helpful to share the drawings at the end. Thank you, friend. You are a great inventor.
These videos are awesome! I love woodworking, my extra loud music and the smell of sawdust!! Now, I've gotta go buy a mini router so I can put my 1hp back in its box,, I'm sold!!
Unfassbares Talent beste Vorrichtung ever danke fürs teilen sie sind ein genialer Handwerker mit minimalem Aufwand solch perfekte Werkstücke Respekt für ihre Arbeit
Probably by far one of the best woodworkers/engineers on the planet, it's a wonderful concept and impossible to build unless there's a set of plans, I'm very close to a finished product and there's a few tolerances that I'm just missing and it's frustrating that there's nothing to reference and there's a bunch of us that would be willing to purchase it from you, why not set something up and sell plans, just do something in metric and we can convert it if need be . I took many paused screenshots, and those have been my references. but your videos move so fast as possible to really see how this thing is assembled properly. Any feedback would be appreciated
I built this jig for my Makita DRT50. Beforehand I measured if the screws were spaced the same distance as the plans (56mm). They seemed to be. However, to my unpleasant surprise, Makita spaced one set of screws 56mm and the other slightly less. Be aware of that! The jig will work for the most part with only one set. You could also build it 90 degree turned as the screws are spaced equally in the other direction. Good luck!
I have found that when tapping threads into wood, you can strengthen the threads by squirting some super glue onto the threads and running the tap through to clean it. It keeps them from stripping out so easily.

Both metric (millimeter) and imperial (inch) plans are available at the end of the video.
This is brilliant !!!Sorry the jig dimensions went too fast. If there a place where we can download ?
@@lungisiqebengu89 just pause the video at 9:08 .. you can also use "." and "," to scroll the video frame by frame ; )
You're on another level, man! Thank you for sharing these incredible jigs you come up with. Now I've got a trivet to make! 😆
Thanks Sir! People with intelligent minds like you are, do not talk much, but show what they do.
What species of wood is recommended for the router jig? Is that white oak?
