Awesome review. No one drives with one hand on the steering wheel and the other knocking all the plastics on the dash so doesn't actually matter what it feels like, more important that it lasts and looks somewhat decent.
Today while walking in the Netherlands i saw a car coming. Was amazed how beautiful It was. I managed to read the name on the back and it was a T- Roc. Really nice car if you see it on the road
you probably dont give a shit but if you're bored like me during the covid times you can watch pretty much all the new movies on instaflixxer. I've been watching with my girlfriend during the lockdown =)
I honestly believe that's not a "coupe" design, it's just a normal hatchback style compact SUV. Have to say it's way more appealing than similar Audi Q2.
I own the t roc since december 2017 and im more than happy with it. I got the top range model with all the options and a 2l petrol engine with 4wdr, and it is pretty damn quick up until 130-140 km/h, where you start to feel the struggle of the little 4 litre motor to go any faster. Overall, the fuel economy for me has been around 7-8 liters per 100 km, which is not too bad, considering that i mostly drive in the city. All the tech options seem to work well so far (after 10,000 km) and they really do help with long drives, such as active cruise control and active lane assist. I also must add that i own the sport version with the sport seats, which are surprisingly comfy, even though they lack some adjustment options. The multimedia together with the active info display are simply gorgeous! However, the one thing i started to hate shortly after receiving the car is the quality of the interior materials. The seats are nice and soft, but other interior panels are made out ver very very cheap plastic which in my opinion is an insult to the buyer, considering that a cheaper golf or polo have much softer plastics inside. The ride on the autobahn is very stable, the 190+ hp are great for quick maneuvers but at speeds over 130 the fuel consumption goes up drastically (to about 9-10,5 l per 100km). Having the top of the range model, one could ask me why havent i bought a tiguan, which could be acquired for similar money (at least in Switzerland, where i live), but it is a much larger and of course more comfy car, however not so useful for my small town and tight parking spots. Finally, i personally really enjoy the looks of the car, especially in the sport version. The other variant being an audi q2, which is essentially exactly the same offers all the similar options and engines, but at a much higher price and its design is questionable in my opinion, so why spend more? Overall it is a great all rounder which i can definitely recommend.
Huge compliment for you guys! I wanted you to show the type of materials in the whole interieur and you managed to grant this wish in a very short time. This is what I call "costumer care", keep going on with this style and I see a very rosy future for you guys. As for the Reviewer, he does a very good job. Aj has a very calm voice (like Thomas) and gives a lot of attention to some details just like the used materials. The car itself looks pretty decent from the exterior but the inside is horrible. Cheap hard plastic all around but I noticed the same with the Q2. At least the Audi has soft-touch on the dashboard but is still far away from being a premium car. There is no excuse for this and I wonder why a Polo has better materials than the much more expensive T-Roc.
I don't think it's ment to be a premium car, it's more the lower end of VWs SUVs. Somewhere I guess they need to save costs by all the technic, what's standard in the T-Roc. I think, it's surprisingly cheap when you look at the whole package.
I appreciate how he speaks about how LED lights affect the over-all appearance of the car. Today, manufacturers will force you to get high spec led/matrix/laser lights for the car to look as good as it does which is really a shame.
VW needs fresh and notably cars! The T-Roc is the best answer to that👍 I really love the new design language of VW (e.g. new Arteon) and the interior matches perfectly to the exterior 😍😍 It was a good decision of VW to go for the screen with the "classic" two buttons on each side. My favourite choice for the exterior and interior is the R-Line package because it gives the car a more dynamic and aggresive look!
This is really awesome review and fantastic shots! Thank you AJ & Jonas. Well, I'm a little bit disappointed with the interior design i.e. the hard plastics everywhere but outside the car looks pretty good and it has a good driving capabilities.
Sorry, I thought that by your first reply, you were teaching me that 2 cm equates to 20mm. Also, as a professional, you ought to bit more professional and a bit less emotional when replying to genuine queries.
Hey AJ.. First, nice Review as allways.. Second, remember that very steep climb on minute 1:06? I climb it on a Alfa Romeo Mito 1.3 JTDm front wheel drive.. ahah.. And with no problem at all.... Nicely done!!
Hi AJ & all the team, thanks for another great review. I really like the look of the T-ROC and I’m pleased to see it rides and handles so well. As with most of the comments l can’t believe VW has taken the backwards step of hard plastics for the dash and door cappings. I’m sure that decent soft touch materials in those areas would not have added too much to the build price !! Am I the only one getting annoyed at people claiming that AWD is only for offroad driving? There is people living north of Germany you know, where winter climate actually exists and where roads have layers of ice on them. Get yourself some education and read the manual before complaining about stuff for 1 hour and 12 minutes that you easily can adjust in the settings. Autogefühl is my favorite car review channel, but this particular reporter does not belong. Sorry for rough words. I'm extremely rarely writing in the comment section and I have never before written anything negative, but today I came to the point where I could not hold it back. I can get a similar level car review from 12 year old Bob that is sitting in his mothers car on the driveway, he might even get the facts right.
He is just suggesting that AWD is not a necessary option, which is true. Most will be OK with FWD. And AJ knows more about cars on a technical level that most other people, me included. Would be glad if you stick with and also appreciate AJ's work, he is doing a great job. /Thomas
Really good and thorough review, AJ. I think VW are tragetting the school run set with this car. Many will want a VW badge, regardless of hard plastics. I do like the interior colour options but the interior is still not as stylish as my 3008 SUV. It would certainly suit my wife, who owns a VW UP. To her, and many others, a car is just a car: she doesn't notice the hard plastics.
Great review, a slick car, but don´t like the 3D designed backlights, it´s a little bumpy, but probely change my golf7 for this one, just trying to get out of my 10 years of golf zone :)
Thanks for the very thorough review AJ. Are you sure about the availability of 4Motion in the 150PS engines? For now it only seems to be offered with the 2.0 TDI, but not with the petrol engine (1.5 TSIEvo). Are you able to confirm if the evo engine is going to be offered with dsg and 4x4 any time soon?
In the vid it is mentioned several times that the seats are upholstered in “leatherette”. What is that exactly and how much leather is involved....none i believe. Let’s be honest and call them plastic or vinyl. Which is what they really are. Great video as always from autogefuhl
The outside parts of the seats if there is a mix are leatherette. The full leather seats you ve seen in orange are indeed from animal skin on the integral parts. For more details on this topic, consider our extensive resources. We have researched this issue for many years now so please take your time to go through our extensive resources stated below as they answer every single question we have yet received concerning this matter. At Autogefühl, we have already received several thousands (!) comments, messages and mails that more and more people want to combine enjoying their car with reducing the environmental impact at the same time. We believe that sustainable luxury is possible or at least we should do everything to support that. Those many thousand people confirming this trend, motivate us to give you the most authentic information and background on the product parts. It is not about what you bought in the past, and it is not about blaming anyone, it is about what you decide in the future and what you can decide and influence as a customer. So we want you to have all information that you need for a decision you later enjoy and like best yourself. In Summer 2017, Tesla motors has decided to be the first manufacturer to go all the way with sustainable seat materials, only offering fabric/cloth seats or leatherette seats in different colours. They have banned all real leather from the seating surface and at the steering wheel in the white trim or on demand. So Tesla shows where the industry will and must be heading, just like they went forward with electrification first. Check out our special video addressing car CEOs as a first summary and also see conditions of animal skin production: ua-cam.com/video/LNSUzZXzpdc/v-deo.html List of practical reasons against animal skin seats: 1. animal skin seats are often sold as an expensive option, by going for base trim level seats you can save a lot of money and get a better price-performance-deal (often the manufacturers claim that animal leather is top of luxury because they can earn the best money with it) 2. animal skin seats get hot in summer and you stick to the seat, probably you need seat cooling 3. they get very cold in winter and you need seat heating 4. on cloth or microfibre surfaces, you basically don’t need seat heating nor cooling 5. animal skin seats wear out very fast and look like an old sofa 6. if you want leather look or need seats that can be wiped clean easier, the leatherette (faux leather) surfaces are meanwhile highly evolved and it is possible that it feels even softer and better than anything else (See our Tesla Model X review ua-cam.com/video/y2wNGFKa4M0/v-deo.html) So Tesla shows a good example for that and as described, non-leather materials are now standard for ALL Tesla 7. More manufacturer names for their good alternatives: Mercedes MBTex/Artico for leatherette, Dinamica for microfibre. BMW Sensatec, Toyota Sof-Tex, Lexus Nu-Luxe (all faux leather) To the environmental reasons: 1. The way the cows and other intelligent and social animals are raised and held are not according to the basic values that we all share (also see videos below) 2. The factory farming industry can be accounted for at least 40 % of climate emissions and thus is (according to numerous sources you can look up) the number one reason for climate change and environmental destruction. It is the number one reason for deforestation, two thirds of all agricultural land on earth is used for growing animal food crops. If you would feed humans directly by using the agricultural land, you could produce much more food for everyone. See this interesting essay for more on climate emissions background: www.worldwatch.org/files/pdf/Livestock%20and%20Climate%20Change.pdf 3. It is not only cows who are suffering, but also the environment and to a big part also humans. Think of slavery-like working conditions in slaughterhouses (there are plenty of documentaries about this) or think of chemically altered drinking water in animal skin production villages as also seen in the video footage. 4. The discussion, for which body part the cow is killed first, is very patronizing. But if you really think it would be important why someone gets killed in first place: There are many productions where the cow is killed for the skin first, sometimes even while still being (part-)alive, the skin is the most profitable single part of the body. 5. So even if a cow gets theoretically killed for meat first, in every case you give additional money to an industry that relies on killing, pollutes the environment and harms people with chemicals. Let's say you are standing at the meat counter. And you ask for the leg of the cow. The butcher tells you: "You can eat that without worrying, the cow was slaughtered for the neck first". The next customer demands the neck. The butcher tells him: "It's not your fault, the cow was slaughtered for the belly". A the next customer demands the hide, what answer does he get? You see, that argument of "byproduct" comes from the meat and leather industry to cover up that you contribute to killing no matter which part of the body you buy. 6. To the often said argument, animal skin would just be a byproduct, please google/youtube "leather is not a byproduct" you will find plenty of information. A good overview on all those issues can also be found here: adaptt.org/ To “But leatherette is not sustainable due to petrochemical production” 1. Indeed some fabrics and micro fibres are oil based, however most oil is spent on energy production, heating and fuel. The share of oil used for artificial cloth etc. is very very small. 2. If you look at the whole production process, the leatherette is way more sustainable than the leather produce. 3. The best to-come solution are indeed plant-based materials like Pinatex (based on pineapple leaves) or new materials based on mycelia (roots of mushrooms) or other innovative natural products. That’s the future. More special video episodes: 1. A initial special video from Autogefühl considering the use of leather can be found here: ua-cam.com/video/8f91KgbVbJQ/v-deo.html 2. And another one right here: ua-cam.com/video/tMNgcLE0LDU/v-deo.html 3. Furthermore, you’ll find the footage of leather production also here, where people are walking in chemicals etc. and animals have to watch their friends being slaughtered in front of their eyes: ua-cam.com/video/JipYvuDsI6s/v-deo.html timecode starting 27:46 4. This is another video which very well summarizes the torture of leather production, shots taken at big farms which directly produce for the automotive industry: ua-cam.com/video/OgHs239bAnE/v-deo.html 5. Please note that those videos are made by well-known journalists and cameramen who were not influenced by any animal welfare organisation, they supply their footage to the animal rights groups of course. I partly know the creators of the video footage personally and they are all authentic. You don’t have to search long to find cruel production environments anyway. Manufacturers reactions: We started the very first inquiry years ago, with the result that car manufacturers do not reveal their sources of animal skin AT ALL. If it all would be clean and happening without harm, why don’t they show it to us whereas they are showing us every other detail of their products? They have good reason not to, because there is no such thing as a clean animal skin production without harming cows, humans and the environment. The only thing a manufacturer can do is increase their effort for a better future, and we are helping with in-depth talks and interviews by presenting the increasing customer demand for sustainable luxury. Tesla was the first one to react in a major way now. So meanwhile, we more often also get feedback that a lot of manufacturers are working on leather-free interiors and are aware of the situation. E.g. Bentley, Mini and Kia have started vegan car interior programmes. Besides Tesla, Mercedes already shows major choices for sustainable interiors, you always have to pay attention to the details when ordering, of course - and we are happy to give advice. However, much has to be done still and the Autogefuehl community is massively helping in boosting the positive change! Help to raise awareness on this subject. Thanks!
Excellent and very extensive review.I would like to know if the four-wheel drive vehicle has a multi link rear suspension. In such a case is there a noticeable impact on comfort in relation to the conventional suspension?
Don’t agree about the navigation difficult to see, you must have the zoom set on manual, not automatic. Much clearer than Google. I have Google satellite on the centre console and full navigation on the active info display and it’s perfect.
When you think about it, there really isn't enough SUV's to choose from. You either get cheap plastic from Seat, Kia, Skoda etc, or you have to pay £35k for a medium spec Discovery Sport, x3, gle etc. Looking to switch up in April from my current car. Was looking at either the Discovery Sport, tiguan, F Pace. I'm seriously considering one of these. I know those should bve another level, but this... Lowest priced by a mile, (About 12k cheaper than the models I was looking at) And you can really spec them out for less than a base price Tiguan.
Nice review, AJ. I wonder if the dash inlay color sync's with the body color. I am confused who this vehicle is targeted towards. It seems to look sporty but does it have the performance to back up the image?
It may be a nice car but it's way too expensove considering nasty plastics inside. VWs always had really nice interiors but in the T-Roc they went cheap.
You mentioned that it was not possible to get the map fullscreen on the Active Info Display. Probably you did not know how this works; press OK twice. Other blog video's will show you that this is working on the T-Roc.
It's in all the folders, youtube video's and car advertisements of demo models and you're saying it does not work? ua-cam.com/video/0vPUzliAuxc/v-deo.html see this video at 8:27 . she presses a button twice on this skoda karoq model and the larger map appears. same system. ua-cam.com/video/mvRt-gH7Z5M/v-deo.html 7:06
You can have the Navigation on Active info display Through out the screen, you have a look on launch video of T ROC .. anyway a nice review .. can you ask VW there wether are going to launch it in India anytime soon? :P
Good review, thank you. VW are charging a premium price for this, but it does not appear to be a premium product. At this end of the market, I would suggest that the Suzuki Vitara would be a better purchase.
Thank you for the amazing review. Now for the car that i already look in reall. Rear room for the legs is not good. But the big fail for me was hard plastics in doors and dashboard. In this price and brand this is unacceptable. Starting price 20.000+euro, model 2017-18 and made hard plastics. Also i dont like central console with air vents design. I don't pay the diesel gate becouse VW spare soft plastics in a 2017-18 model with starting price 20k+. I feel sorry for people that buy the good version with 30.000 euro with hard plastics everywhere. Thanks but no vw. I imagine people buy T-ROC 2.000cc, AWD, DSG, electric seats, panoramic roof etc and owner nock plastics on doors and dashboard and hear tok tok tok. 30.000+ euro VW 2018 model. Epic fail for me and many people i have speak.
Rsr Rsr VW clearly cutting cost and saving money on quality of materials while still trying to charge the consumer a premium for their product, agree not acceptable and embarrassing for anyone stupid enough to buy top of the range models etc.
The legend say next car from vw, bonnet and roof made by plastic hahahaha If people buy car like T roc with full plastic then vw made more new models with hard plastics. Way overpriced so no vw for me. I don't let vw catch me fool and pay the diesel gate like rsr correct say. Vw shame on you. full plastics like barbie and base version without even one extra cost in my country 22.000+ euro. Is this a joke? If i chose alloys, metalic color and few extras the car past 25.000+ euro. nooo way!!!! With this money you buy midle version of Grandland X or 3008 and they have some t rocs option extras in standar equipment. So with the same money and equipment you go to a bigger class and better cars and not this toy for kids, sample of a car.
Very good, thorough, watchable and information dense review. But I have 2 questions if I may: 1) Several times you make reference to the TR~OC being only cm higher than the GOLF, but you also say it's 20cm higher than the GOLF at one point, which is it please? It looks A LOT higher than a Golf. 2) You state that the diesel engine isn't that spritely, and recommend the 150PS or 190PS petrol engines, but then state that the Diesel is also 150PS, so what is the gain in switching to the 150PS Unleaded version at the same power? Is it just for the different powerband/torque delivery characteristics? What is the advantage to the driving experience over the diesel, with some TDi engines these days providing a lot of thrills. Interested to hear your reasoning. Thanks, and well done.
@@autogefuehl It's much more than 2cm higher than a Golf dude... look how jacked up it is. 2 inches maybe? Which is the same as the Merc GLA over the normal A-Class. A 2cm differnce would be barely perceptible to the eye. I know this as I lowered my first car 2.5cm
both do come close and are a good pick. Compare our Ateca videos here: ua-cam.com/users/results?search_query=autogefuehl+ateca I d see what concise offer I can get
Interesting what you say about the active display and SatNAv - I have seen other reviews where you can have satnav on both, the active display and the touchscreen?
I highly doubt this boot is 445 litres in volume... With such a steep angle on the door and the floor so high, there is little room left. I guess it has such volume with the floor lowered and the back seats in an upright setting.
I understand DCC is an option on all cars, but do they get torsion beam at the back on low power models, and multi-link on engines over 150hp? that's how it works in golf, leon, octavia.
Warning! VW has kept qiet about a problem with their new 1.5 evo engine. It suffers from juddering when driven at low speeds from a cold start. So will VW work on a software patch to fix this issue? Let's hope so.
The thing i find bad about the car is that even the Polo has a better quality interieur and the Peugeot 3008 even better. So i think they should have made it better. For the rest i really like the car.
VW screwed up. There is no excuse for such cheap materials in the interior when even the Skoda Fabia and Seat Ibiza have soft touch plastics inside, and those are the cheapest cars from cheapest brands in VW group. Also, if this is placed against the Nissan Qashqai, then it won't do well, because Qashqai has a great quality interior comparable to VW Tiguan.
Awesome review. No one drives with one hand on the steering wheel and the other knocking all the plastics on the dash so doesn't actually matter what it feels like, more important that it lasts and looks somewhat decent.

highly appreciated !
If you are on the nav, press OK on the wheel and the two dials left and right half in size to make the map bigger.

I do like the interior colour options but
the interior is still not as stylish as my 3008 SUV. It would certainly suit my wife, who owns a VW UP. To her, and many others, a car is just a car: she doesn't notice the hard plastics.
+pete draper cheers pal!
+pete draper - agree, and I think I prefer our CX-3 with its HUD, classy interior and Side Assist, none of which are available on a UK-spec T-Roc!
Great review, a slick car, but don´t like the 3D designed backlights, it´s a little bumpy, but probely change my golf7 for this one, just trying to get out of my 10 years of golf zone :)
thanks for joining us!
Thanks for review, fab as always. One question, the reversing camera, is it included within the VW logo like the golf?
Great review. I think i prefer the non led lights
Nice and detail review. Great! May I know what engine is your test car in this video using ?
34:15 nice foot kick, mate :)
I wish so bad the t roc came to canada perfect model for our type of terrain and temperature
small bottle holder is for the can of red bull or other energy drink
Thanks for the very thorough review AJ. Are you sure about the availability of 4Motion in the 150PS engines? For now it only seems to be offered with the 2.0 TDI, but not with the petrol engine (1.5 TSIEvo). Are you able to confirm if the evo engine is going to be offered with dsg and 4x4 any time soon?
+TrueSilvo they never start with all engines and it also depends from market to market. Guess we ll have to wait a little
Thanks so much for this however I was expecting more talk about under the bonnet.
very good and detailed review, like your pronouncing one "juan" :)
👌
I like the front cheeks 😂😂😂well done one once again!
Check out our special video addressing car CEOs as a first summary and also see conditions of animal skin production:
ua-cam.com/video/LNSUzZXzpdc/v-deo.html
List of practical reasons against animal skin seats:
1. animal skin seats are often sold as an expensive option, by going for base trim level seats you can save a lot of money and get a better price-performance-deal (often the manufacturers claim that animal leather is top of luxury because they can earn the best money with it)
2. animal skin seats get hot in summer and you stick to the seat, probably you need seat cooling
3. they get very cold in winter and you need seat heating
4. on cloth or microfibre surfaces, you basically don’t need seat heating nor cooling
5. animal skin seats wear out very fast and look like an old sofa
6. if you want leather look or need seats that can be wiped clean easier, the leatherette (faux leather) surfaces are meanwhile highly evolved and it is possible that it feels even softer and better than anything else (See our Tesla Model X review ua-cam.com/video/y2wNGFKa4M0/v-deo.html) So Tesla shows a good example for that and as described, non-leather materials are now standard for ALL Tesla
7. More manufacturer names for their good alternatives: Mercedes MBTex/Artico for leatherette, Dinamica for microfibre. BMW Sensatec, Toyota Sof-Tex, Lexus Nu-Luxe (all faux leather)
To the environmental reasons:
1. The way the cows and other intelligent and social animals are raised and held are not according to the basic values that we all share (also see videos below)
2. See this interesting essay for more on climate emissions background: www.worldwatch.org/files/pdf/Livestock%20and%20Climate%20Change.pdf
A good overview on all those issues can also be found here: adaptt.org/
To “But leatherette is not sustainable due to petrochemical production”
More special video episodes:
1. A initial special video from Autogefühl considering the use of leather can be found here: ua-cam.com/video/8f91KgbVbJQ/v-deo.html
2. And another one right here: ua-cam.com/video/tMNgcLE0LDU/v-deo.html
3. Furthermore, you’ll find the footage of leather production also here, where people are walking in chemicals etc. and animals have to watch their friends being slaughtered in front of their eyes: ua-cam.com/video/JipYvuDsI6s/v-deo.html
timecode starting 27:46
4. This is another video which very well summarizes the torture of leather production, shots taken at big farms which directly produce for the automotive industry: ua-cam.com/video/OgHs239bAnE/v-deo.html
5. Please note that those videos are made by well-known journalists and cameramen who were not influenced by any animal welfare organisation, they supply their footage to the animal rights groups of course. I partly know the creators of the video footage personally and they are all authentic. You don’t have to search long to find cruel production environments anyway.
Manufacturers reactions:
We started the very first inquiry years ago, with the result that car manufacturers do not reveal their sources of animal skin AT ALL.
+thanasis constantinou thanks! 4wd does not change suspension but u can in general pick the dcc adaptive suspension
Thank you very much for your immediate response.
Don’t agree about the navigation difficult to see, you must have the zoom set on manual, not automatic. Much clearer than Google. I have Google satellite on the centre console and full navigation on the active info display and it’s perfect.
thank you
+天兵好 🙏
When you think about it, there really isn't enough SUV's to choose from. You either get cheap plastic from Seat, Kia, Skoda etc, or you have to pay £35k for a medium spec Discovery Sport, x3, gle etc. Looking to switch up in April from my current car. Was looking at either the Discovery Sport, tiguan, F Pace. I'm seriously considering one of these. I know those should bve another level, but this... Lowest priced by a mile, (About 12k cheaper than the models I was looking at) And you can really spec them out for less than a base price Tiguan.
mmmm, I like it, I think. Great review in any case.
+R Mac 👌
Autogefuhl great review! what about wind noise? is it more noticeable than other suv?
VW are always well insulated
Nice review, AJ. I wonder if the dash inlay color sync's with the body color. I am confused who this vehicle is targeted towards. It seems to look sporty but does it have the performance to back up the image?
thanks daniel!
I think the mapping on both screens is software related and can be updated at cost
It may be a nice car but it's way too expensove considering nasty plastics inside. VWs always had really nice interiors but in the T-Roc they went cheap.
sic22l Audi Q2 has similar materials inside.
Q2 has better plastics. T-Roc is even worse than Polo.
sic22l new Polo looks hot though
Disappointing quality interior
Nice review AJ. But why there is no indication of 1.5 tsi Evo AWD in VW website? Are you shore about that model is for production?
+Akshay K M It might not be available in every market yet
The car looks very sexy and stylish
That cheep blue trim with VWs 2year warranty yumy sign me up.
Awesome.👌👌
You mentioned that it was not possible to get the map fullscreen on the Active Info Display. Probably you did not know how this works; press OK twice. Other blog video's will show you that this is working on the T-Roc.
Gerard S nope, doesn't work.
great review. too bad it's about the diesel version and not petrol. still, awesome work
i think its a cool car from VW
Good review, thank you. VW are charging a premium price for this, but it does not appear to be a premium product. At this end of the market, I would suggest that the Suzuki Vitara would be a better purchase.
thanks for the feedback! Compare the Suzuki Vitara here: ua-cam.com/video/o6xtgOWO_GE/v-deo.html
Finally :D
2 cm, not 20 cm :)
I wonder how the fuel economy is compared to Golf Variant/Estate..
Love the ”bad road” capability, would be very useful for my use.
Another test, also with accurate fuel economy, is here: ua-cam.com/video/nLA51T7LYig/v-deo.html
The interior looks similar to the Atlas
Autogefühl, T-Roc or Ateca if similarly equipped?
both do come close and are a good pick. Compare our Ateca videos here:
ua-cam.com/users/results?search_query=autogefuehl+ateca
I d see what concise offer I can get
Will the T-Roc be coming to the USA?
01:06:38 Steering angle off road after a full rotation is handy.
I'm waiting for launch in U.S market. People expect in 2019.
Interesting what you say about the active display and SatNAv - I have seen other reviews where you can have satnav on both, the active display and the touchscreen?
Not in the T-Roc, not at the same time
I'm sure I've seen this in the Golf 2017 - I wonder why it doesn't work here? Are they going to fix this?
Yes Golf. T-Roc has different cheaper processor
hey have you any news when is it going to be launched in inda??
it is not going to be sold in india. not in next few years at least
17:53 "This doesn't squeak" "krshhh'"
obviously built 'down' to a price.. nice looking car from the outside though quite fancied one
which blue do you have ?
Would be happy to pay for a soft plastic option.
I highly doubt this boot is 445 litres in volume... With such a steep angle on the door and the floor so high, there is little room left. I guess it has such volume with the floor lowered and the back seats in an upright setting.
How much is GPS price ?
+1 point on the Beats comment!
01:02:00 to 01:05:00 a repeat of the 4 Motion system. Come on guys...
is there a difference in suspension depending on the engine power as is on a lot of other vw group cars in this class?
it depends if you pick DCC or not as option
I understand DCC is an option on all cars, but do they get torsion beam at the back on low power models, and multi-link on engines over 150hp? that's how it works in golf, leon, octavia.
Warning! VW has kept qiet about a problem with their new 1.5 evo engine. It suffers from juddering when driven at low speeds from a cold start. So will VW work on a software patch to fix this issue? Let's hope so.
AWESOME
Big mistake that Americans aren't getting this.
Can you please let us know about the pricing and launch date in India ?
you should ask your dealer about that!
Won't be coming to India any time in the near future. Perhaps the smaller t-cross might.
About the navigation volkswagen said that it was a glich so they will fix it in the future.
The thing i find bad about the car is that even the Polo has a better quality interieur and the Peugeot 3008 even better. So i think they should have made it better. For the rest i really like the car.
Yes, this is what Thomas said when he was reviewing the car in the studio. AJ can you ask VW if there is an ETA for fixing this issue?
TrueSilvo Well we all know about VW and their ‘we’ll fix it’ policy don’t we! 🤔
What a silly thing to complain about, what screen do you look at when you dont have sat nav in the digital dash
bravo!!! a new audi q2! a complete new Car!.....
Very true also T-Roc is VERY small compared to other same class cars
whaaat?! comparable to VW Tiguan?! Qashqai is comparable only to Dacia Logan...
Nissan, Renault, Dacia, Merc A class all the same engine
But the troc is cheaper and looks way better
I think the T-Roc beats the Nissan engines that have pretty bad fuel economy
12:50 seating postion actually is 16 cm higher than a golf ;)
