I've never seen Sparg0 this flustered before. Even when his back is against the wall he's got an iron will but Skyjay just shook the living crap out of him.
Which is nuts considering how Spargo has cleaned up Skyjay in many tournaments in the past with almost no issues
And that happened right after he confidently beat apollokage, tweek, sonix and maister in his losers run.

That's one of the reasons I love this game, it has 80+ characters and like 70 of them are viable as a main, and nearly all of them are as secondaries

@@jrkev1 Up b has a spike hitbox on the downswing and spargo uses it a lot. he usually holds down for a bit in order to spike recoveries but he held down for too long and died for it.

At the end of the set you can see sky jay calling out sparo s'roll in habbit out of the corner. one with the dash attack and the one that wins him the set was a hard call out he just up smash it, sky jay was that confidant that spargo would roll again

You could tell spargo was frustrated when incin wouldn’t die. It’s crazy how cloud actually does so bad againts heavies imo. Hard time killing them and they can gimp him so easy( dk and incin)
cloud in general isn’t good against heavies even straight up loses to Dk Ridley and bowser…. But skyjay was on fire for sure

This was the one time where spargo really should've tried byleth, the way he was trying to play cloud here just wasn't cutting it as he didn't try to change his gameplan from the winners set. Byleth would've allowed more spacing in neutral to play around incineroar's side b/revenge and byleth would've worked a lot better when it came to the offstage interactions as spargo was trying to force things offstage way too much as cloud
I don't know, I feel like his byleth isn't nearly good enough yet to play him outside of squad strike.
He should have used plant:D

Obviously not to the level of his cloud/aegis, but he’s still very good with byleth and it’s definitely improved quite a bit. Funny enough, his byleth has became his best character to use against palu as of late. He’s destroyed all of the best palu’s with byleth recently
