The best smash set. Where was I when an incineroar gimped bayo and made it in to winners finals? I was in the crowd at my first major. It was so electric, the way everyone was popping off every time skyjay did anything. Its been 5 hours and I miss it already.

@@BestSomebodyNA because ppl bitched about the invitational back before the game launched... When a experienced smash vet mained bayo destroyed a inexperienced ridley who's was already combo food for his size on a low ceiling green green stage.....
Ppl left bayo because she's a glass cannon... And maimed other characters who are far more fun and rewarding to play as... The nerfs weren't necessary she was already nerfed in the invitational... They gutted her after that
@@BestSomebodyNA just look up a video it used to kill and stuff now it won’t it’s easier to get out of. For every move u do In the air u get more lag on the ground so u can’t move. And she dies way to easy.
@@drewhaynes1874 the victim complex is real. She's a mid-high tier now. Just because she isn't an indisputable #1 where she can kill you at 0% doesn't mean she was gutted.
Just means she's actually a manageable character now. Jesus christ lol. There are SO many characters worse than her in ultimate. D3 was nerfed 3 times in ultimate and he's *actually* bottom tier. Bayo players/fans smh.

Love Skyjay but I’m sad these two had to duke it out. I have a lot of respect for Lima for sticking with Bayo because he genuinely likes her play style. After she got nerfed to hell in Smash 4, everyone gave up on her but him. Luckily for him (and unluckily for everyone else) she was still busted. But he still stuck with her when she actually was nerfed to the bottom tier in the change to ultimate.
Mad respect to both these guys.
I mean sure. She was nerfed but she was inexplicably #1 in sm4sh. So it's more like - she went from an unmanageable mess of a character to play against. To a mid-high tier that can function quite well.
People gave up on her because she no longer gave free wins lol. I give credit to Lima for not being one of the ones that played for the free wins in sm4sh.

Watching low teir characters play is definitely the Best. I'd say it's because the players hearts are in it, not just a meta thing.

Skyjay knows how to play to Incineroar's strengths and not make risky plays. Which is super hard to do because Incineroar needs to take those risks sometimes. It paid off this tournament

Lol Commentators always try so hard to sound woke on a characters viability. Literally nobody considers Incineroar bad. EVERY player and pro I've heard talk about Incineroar has said Incin speed is the only thing keeping him in check. If he was faster, his moveset guarantees he ends up top tier. Character has an insane amount of dlc level privilege in his moves.
In my opinion, Lima has way more skills with combining and edgeguarding/ Skyjay was just at 130% the whole match. Lima deserved to win
Lmao Lima got gimmicked so hard in this set. He won the neutral game like 80/20, but then he got hit by everything from Incineroar's playbook.

This is the unfortunate reality for us bayo mains we gotta work overtime to get the stock while the opponent has to win 2-4 interactions but bayo is properly balanced so im not complaining. This set was epic though
