This is one of their best episodes, TG included. When it comes to automotive journalism these guys are just on a whole other level, no other show even come close.
being French, I laughed from beginning to end 😂 some clichés are perfectly true, like the fact that the French don't care about the state of their car. what I really love is the moment "where is the bakery?"😂 on the other hand, the world must admit that Renault, Citroën and Peugeot make very solid cars to go to the mountains😅🤣

It’s only basic French which is great because that’s all I understand, it was hilarious. My partner couldn’t understand why I found some of the French exchanges so funny.
Carnage A Trois is now my most favourite of the new specials. Probably because it reminds of the 'ordinary' episodes in both Top Gear and Grand Tour where the Three just talked about stuff. I missed those
Bonjour les Brits ! I’m a french man and I love this episode ! So funny !! even if a little bit caricatural at some point….but so are Jeremy, James and Richard in all GT chapters ! That is why we just love them.
I have always thought that the „Peugeot drivers“ segment from Top Gear needed a follow-up. And they finally made it! Just hilarious fun. 😂 Bien fait, Jezza, Hammond and Capitaine Slow! Bonjour, Messieurs 👏
Weird.... Not the show, it's terrific fun. But I've watched the show 3 times now, and each time I get the urge to go out and buy croisants. Seriously, I really do! Did you guys do that thing with dropping a subliminal image or two. Best laugh I've had in ages... Keep it coming!
@@khal6400yeah I get you but 99% of the time nothing positive is said about French cars. Mostly it's just jokes made by the ignorant haters about them being bad

Since that, i forgo the idea of trading for an AWD, and put some allterrain rubber on meh old C-klass. There's a surprisingly large amount of places in the world, 15cm banger will get you to, without a headache. ...mmmmm, that didn't sound the way it did, wasn't it?
Old Top Gear was my favorite TV show but despite this, I never really enjoyed "The Grand Tour" (with the exception of the Seamen Special). However, This special is by far the best thing the trio has done since Top Gear - It's a must-watch if you enjoyed the old Top Gear!
The last bit: The left front corner became TIGHT friends with the right rear corner. Something both corners would have never thought, in a million years,,unless by accident.
Pour mettre en panne les voitures anglaises, pas besoin de descendre des chemins escarpés, pas besoin de se foncer dedans , pas besoin de mettre des coups de masse , il suffit juste de rouler 500 m 😂
As a French person, this is a very bittersweet episode... Some clichés are just not true, others are. I loved the bit with the Citroën hydropneumatic suspension, which made so many children sick at the back of CX, GS and BX Citroën in the 1970s and 1980s, myself included. Nice try at speaking French from the trio.
What was your favourite moment from the new special? 🤔
ALLEZ!
3:43 the part where Richard Hammond almost died, again
the idea to drive usual road car on a rough terrain
"Oh my dishwasher!!!"
The best moment was doing a George Michael
"This pains in your chest, are they getting worse or better?" gets me everytime

Tbh i lile french cars especially in their history of motorsports. Plus its home to one of my favorite driver sebastian loeb
Even though it’s a joke there’s something oddly majestic about these French city cars barreling fearlessly through the wilderness.
It's really opened my eyes to new way of driving, albeit in someone else's car but I really like the carefree attitude. Thanks so much lads .
Just buy a cheap run around
like an old Corolla for a few hundred euro and your sorted.
7:16 love that even the sheep looked terrified at Hammond driving.
considering hammond's history with land vehicles they rightfully should.
Hammond would be crashing into their field soon!
@Billy The Goat that face expression Hammond made looks so funny. He is sitting there with a happy but nervous face.
Word has reached the animal kingdom
7:24
Hammond and Clarkson's "Where is bakery" convo had me dying.
Especially when Hammond stuffed the Helicar lol
Na ruskam??
"Where's the helicar?"
"It's evidence."
3:15 all of the hidden words on their cars is the best thing ever.
A time-honored TG/TGT tradition.
that was only for those in the know to know about, you know.
How did you spot it?
Did you also spot the clues in Back to the Future?
Richard looked like a mad man when they all ran away from him 😂
Agree and that laugh he did too its really terrifying and scary
He did have a very "Who's my next victim?" Look about him😂
Clarkson rolling down a hill without being hurt himself in typical GT fashion
And calmly proclaiming: "Oooooh, Meeerde!" xDDD
I assume he wasn’t actually in the car for that shot
If Richard Hammond was driving, he would probably be in the back of an ambulance, of at least at a doctor.
@@Hahlenthanks for the insight
He wasn't in it
This was the funniest of season 4 by some margin. I was crying with laughter. Waaay too short.
This is even more enjoyable and entertaining when you're French or understand french.

Hammonds roll over was the funniest thing I have ever seen
He’d be used to it by now one would think
As a french, I have to say it was great fun to watch
The two best aspects of this special was the constant use of Merde, and Hammond’s smile inside the turbine car as he’s about to drive
Must've pained James May to carry on so with a perfectly drivable PER-joe.
