Two of my favorites... the tune and the band. Both so able to make me travel to so many places. What good fortune to have each in my life. Makes me mighty glad I got tickets to the 2025 Sun, Sand and Soul festival. More traveling to look forward to. Great stuff.

Said this recently on a different UA-cam: TTB do excellent covers of BD. Give "my eye-teeth" to see them get Roberto Luti and Jason Tamba from Playing for Change sit in on Dylan's Knockin' on Heaven's Door. PfC recently did that tune in honor of the Band's Robbie Robertson. And hearing Luti on his National steel guitar and Derek trading off slides, could be a beautiful thing. If I actually thought of heaven as a place, Duane would certainly be enjoying Derek's work.

Derek Trucks plays slide guitar and toured as a member of the ABB for a few years doing that. The other guitarist/vocalist is his wife Susan Tedeschi.
So much fun watching them at the Wanee Fest every year;
as well as on the circuit from coast to coast

Yes they do sing covers of the Allman brothers. Derek’s uncle was the drummer.. they definitely have that influence in their songs. Derek also played it the AB’s
