Kanye actually spent $2 million on making Late Registration, and put himself $600,000 in debt, which just shows how much dedication he had to making the music as good as possible
Kanye undeniably released back to back to back to back to back classics from 2004-2010. And the fact that you can find huge groups of people that will claim each one to be his best work shows his consistent greatness. This one’s my favourite😊 And We Major/gone are the best songs imo. “Not much change” to me was a soundscape of music that felt triumphant, from which I never wanted to leave. The subtle changes (especially in Gone) were just enough. It lets the lyrics and flows take main stage. That’s a lot of what HipHop is. Fire, consistent beats so you can focus on what really matters… the vocalists. Plus Nas and Kanye on a song… Legendary
I was looking forward to this considering you made an excellent review of his first album. Also sorry to hear about your concussion, hope your healed well.
If you think late registration is good you’d love MBDTF it has heavy rock elements, some of Kanye’s best production, Amazing verses, innovative maximalist rap voted the best albums of the 2010s and one of the greatest albums any genre

No argument could ever justify putting WE MAJOR IN D TIER im sorry 😭😭
Kanye actually spent $2 million on making Late Registration, and put himself $600,000 in debt, which just shows how much dedication he had to making the music as good as possible
I’m so sorry but the ENTIRE point of We Major is that’s it’s supposed to be overindulgent 😭 it’s a celebration of how far he’s come
That is very fair haha
2:24:30 Late is actually a hidden track, so really Gone which packs a punch with ye's verse at the end is supposed to act as the album closer
