Pablo refers to three people: Pablo Escobar (mover of product), Pablo Picasso (art), and the apostle Paul (religion). Which are all conflicting themes over the course of the album. Great reaction!

Saying Kanye's music isn't really evocative of deep sadness while listening to Real Friends hurts me lol. I know you aren't really focused on the lyrics as much as the music. But I'd suggest it. You even said "he's removing the connective tissue" when referring to the music. That whole song in particular makes me cry. My family is all alive and well, but I watch them through glass walls because I'm not there mentally or physically. I love em but they'll never know it because I don't have the ability to express it. (Autism and some other things) But just consciously watching them and knowing they love you, but You're never going to be there, or you'll just cause problems by being around
nice reaction, i love this album a lot, i should recommend you to listen my beautiful dark twisted fantasy it's for me his best album also I think that is his album with more rock, maybe you liked it.
If you look close enough I feel like it is definitely a concept album. The first third is a recap of his life up to this point, with Ultralight Beam starting with a child singing, Famous representing the MBDTF era and the Taylor drama, Highlights possibly representing him meeting Kim, and Feedback representing Yeezus, with a similar sound and subject matter. The second third feels like Kanye looking into his personal issues with tracks like Real Friends, Wolves, and FML. The final third I feel represents him trying to set his life in the right direction, with tracks like 30 Hours (30 hours being the time it takes to drive from LA to Chicago), and No More Parties in LA (self explanatory). It also contains Facts which talks about his success with Yeezy at the time and it finishes with Saint Pablo, named after the Pablo Kanye is choosing to emulate his life after, Saint Paul, instead of Picasso or Escobar. Or maybe I've just listened to this album too many times and I've just made all this up.
Kanyes music definitely evokes deep sadness, as much as any artist at least for me lol But ur also talking over the lyrics lol Real Friends is such an emotional song, this entire album is. 808s and Heartbreak, ye, yeezus, and donda ive cried listening to lol
You should listen to blonde by Frank ocean, since he had a feature here. It’s truly experimental and avante garde and I’ve never heard anything else like it.
If nothing else you can always expect some amazing sound waves from Ye. His most popular unreleased album is Yandhi. I think you would really enjoy the experimental sound.
So the whole "Pablo" part of this album is refrencing three people Pablo Picasso Pablo Escabar Saint Pablo The first one represents his artistic side. The second his more agressive side. And last one his religous side. The album is very chaotic, and combines all of these themes. It was original a story about kanye slowly resenting his "Fame" life by self reflects only to become religious in the end. In generall the album really shows his state of mind during 2016, he was slowly getting tired of fame and the lifestyle. My favourite album from him Sorry for bad english
Father stretch my hands is pretty much Vultures 1, it's like his Yeezus but much more crazier if you think about it, even if it had less brash sounds that Yeezus had, considering his controversies since 2021, def much more crazier. This album plays so much with juxtaposition and contrast much more than Yeezus ever did with few soul chops and Bound 2 as an ending
Silver Surfer is a call from Max B who was known as the "wavemaster" for his style and sound. Life Of Pablo was originally called Waves. So people were throwing a fit about it because they thought it was disrespectful to Max B. So Kanye included the call on the album to tell people to chill the fuck out lol.
@@dyver123 Most Kanye fans probably have their own distinct ranking of his albums. Mine goes: 1. MBDTF 2. Graduation 3. Yeezus 4. 808s and Heartbreak 5. College Dropout 6. Late Registration 7. TLOP 8. Ye 9. Donda 10. JIK
i have to ask if you relisten to the album at least once, most people who make reactions edit and cut the video a lot more than you so they are forced to listen to the entire album more than once, which is the only way to have a better understanding of the album and what it attempts to do, and it doesn't look like this is edited very much (if at all) which is not a bad thing at all btw, loved the video and observations
Already reviewed it on my channel - But unfortunately I didn't record the reaction to it. I might do a listen-through/spontaneous breakdown of it at some point though, cuz that album definitely deserves love!

Thanks a lot man! I definitely want to check out MBTF, especially for rock elements!

Chris Brown definitely has “aggressive” vocals if ya know what I mean lmao

Chris brown the goat 🐐
It’s so good to know that you like wolves too, it’s my favourite Kanye song along with life of the party.

Good reaction, I recommend listening to My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and Late Registration by Kanye

Ask question about album then proceeds to talk over the part that answers it
Wait when did I do that?😅 That's something I'd like to avoid in the future haha

Ppl thought Kanye was trolling when it came out or that it was promotion for designer cause of how long the panda sample is (he also signed designer)
