has checked on the de visee manuscript so I pass here her reply:
- Then I read the comments people left under the video…Somebody asked where he could find the music, and you answered thumbnail 247 of the Saizenay pdf.
- I checked… and found that in the pdf I have, it appears corresponds to thumbnail 236, and bears page number 339 of the manuscript.
- There is another place where you can find the mansucript : memoirevive.besancon.fr/ark:/48565/0617vxtdlcq8/61acf095-fa39-40ea-a261-e33e8320d159
The thumbnail of your prelude is 223 (whether 247 nor 236…).
247, 236, 223…. quite confusing… :)
Wouldn’t it be better to answer such a question with the ms. page number, 339, instead of thumbnails numbers, which can be different from one pdf to the other … ?

Im worried about the painting behind. It seems like you might scratch it or make a puncture in it with your lute so close.
To scratch a painting depicting a theorbo with a theorbo, now that would be something. :)
