Firstly, incisions are designed and performed to allow mobilizing part of the gingiva from a donor area. After that, the recipient area where the recession is located is prepared. Finally, the gum from the donor area is mobilized and repositioned suturing it in a new position, thus covering the recession. This flap will settle and mature in this new position.

How the other side of tooth gum covered which is cut and attached to the other tooth area.. Is it regrows back over time or any graft done there also..

@@Sphinxhsu i dont think theres bone exposure since its just a mucogingival flap rather than a mucoperiosteal flap. a dressing may have been placed to aid in faster healing.
