Plz explain the direction of bevel for both sides of the recipient site
Direction of bevel is away from the donor site. Means facing opposite site to that of donor site.

I don't understand ... if we are raised large flap ... how the roots are not exposed?
A regular size PARTIAL THICKNESS flap as per dimension requirements is placed laterally to cover the recession . that's y no exposure.
An otherwise mistake as discussed in mistakes and failures is raising a larger than required flap will lead to exposure.
