- Listen to the sound of this red fox call. This barking noise is being made by the male red fox I have been following. You can hear him call and another fox respond. I've only ever heard dog foxes make this particular noise before and I think its a territorial sound.

What if the incredible little animal was coming to eat? You're dog or you would then? As cute as you think it is. It's still a while animal and it doesn't look at you that way. You just look at it like you think it looks like you that way. 😂

@@brat1276what are you on about such diatribe..in all my years of living on this earth out in the countryside and in more built up areas..never seen a fox attack anything,other then rats..they have to eat..tbf,it’s cats that attack our chicks and pheasants on our land not foxes..foxes actually generally feed on human left over McDonald’s and scrap food left lying around..they can’t go and buy a chicken from the store to eat,it’s down to the coop owner to make bespoke cages for hens Coops ..ones that will be sturdy and safe..
@@brat1276I have had a few wild Fox, friends. They can be tamed as other animals. I had a rescued trumpeter swan in a closed in area, that Fred my Fox saw. I told him no, and that was the end of it. I’d be more concerned about coyotes, and wolves.

Adorable todd! One can’t conceive of how noisy and fun these creatures are until you live around them. I’ll never forget the night i took my dogs out back in total darkness, and soon realized we were surrounded by two parent foxes and their quartet of kits. They were so quiet my dogs didn’t even hear or see them, i was first to know bc i turned on my phone light. Soon as the vixen and i locked eyes, the barked one strong time and her and the whole family took back off to their home. Then my dogs went wild LOL. It was a beautiful encounter, they’re like phantoms 💖

Foxes are such beautiful creatures! I felt so blessed to live on a farm for 6 years where I had regular sightings of the two resident pairs as they raised their families each year.❤

Thank you! I’m a country girl & had never heard this sound until I was house sitting a farm recently, one night I went outside heard this noise…. There was two of them, quite a distance apart. It almost like they were talking to each other. I did guess it was a fox but wasn’t totally sure, thank you for the confirmation!❤
It’s and amazing sound and where I live I can often hear it especially around mating times in winter 🦊 and the vixens call is a sound that makes you jump 😯

My neighborhood has lots of foxes. I have been feeding them and buying medication to treat their mange
I have lost count of how many sausages stuffed with medication I have cooked over the years.
I grow fond of them and when it becomes territorial and they move on I swear I won't do it anymore. But, of course I do.

I was actually on a public bus in February 2024 traveling down a street called Grovewood in Cleveland Ohio when me and the drive saw a Fox slowly run accross the street in front of us! There had been reported sightings in the area mentioned on the news weeks prior to us actually seeing it! This is very exciting because such animals were thought to be extinct in the area now.
So THAT'S what the fox says!!
