1k views update: Thank you so much for the kind words, everyone! This game has such a passionate fan base. I was hesitant to upload this since I know it's not a new trick at this point, but I thought there might still be some people who hadn't seen it yet (and I spent a bit of time on the edit hehe). I love all the crazy things this community comes up with.
Honestly the best thing about this game is that it absolutely rewards you for coming up with "work harder, not smarter"-type solutions. Stuff like this, the flappy bird tunnel, hotshot landing on the sun station, etc.
@@MrDinokilla I don't think that makes you stupid at all. It's pretty dangerous to explore around the white hole so I've seen a few people not thinking about what happens to the pieces of brittle hollow after they fall. ...I spent much more time dying exploring the ruins around the white hole and not knowing how to work the white hole station than I'd care to admit. I once waited on the white hole station warp pad, wondering why it wasn't working for an entire loop. We all got blind spots lol
-when I saw this thing and nearly fell into nothing for the first time I was screaming at my friend sitting beside me and you do this stunt. Big respect
I spent a fair decent amount of time trying to do this, thought I looked at every angle and concluded after many failed attempts, No, it's not possible. and then this man right here just absolutely sends it.
You know, I couldn’t figure out how to get in there on my own during my playthrough, I actually tried this a bunch but could never actually succeed. Good on you for doing what I couldn’t, and proving that I wasn’t stupid for trying that so much. Also I’m an idiot who couldn’t figure out how to get to the sun station normally, so I just landed on it with my ship :)
I tried that but I thought it was impossible to land without dying so I did it with the ship and used the emergency button to reduce my speed, of course it failed and I died
Hotshot is really consistent but you need to follow orbital mechanics. I usually get it on the first try. Here's what to do: 1. Get into a countrrclockwise orbit around the sun. Just launch off Timber Hearth and fly directly at the right edge of the sun 2. Target the Sun so that you can see your distance. At around 3000m above the sun, look backwards (so you're now looking at the left edge of the sun) and roll your camera so that the sun is on the bottom and the space is on the top 3. Always look directly at the edge of the sun. Boost forward to drop your height, boost backwards to raise your height. Drop your height slowly until you reach a stable orbit around 2000m above the sun. 4. At this point, wait until you see the *** ******* come to you across the horizon. The moment the *** ******* appears, boost forward to drop your height to around 1700m (remember, still only look at the edge of the sun). 5. At this point, you should be directly next to the *** *******. You can now look away from the edge of the sun and slowly move toward the *** *******. 6. Wedge your ship into the bridge and eject. The moment you eject, unbuckle from the seat (important, don't forget) and immediately hold space to cancel your velocity. Unless you're unlucky, you should be able to get to a stop within a couple meters of the *** *******. 7. Use your jetpack to slowly drift back to the *** ******* 8. Success
@TlalocTemporal probably you could do it without ejecting, since you'd be matching the speed of the sun station exactly and in a stable orbit. Never tried it though, since ejecting is really consistent
I tried this about two dozen times in my run without success. Close a few times, but never quite got there. This was great to see this gambit pulled off! Great execution!
I did something like this once, but I flew around the black hole about 4 times and managed to fly through the pillar as it fell through. Unfortunately, game bar busted so I don't have a recording, nor do I think I'd be able to recreate it.
Another an ignorant player who didn't know something was impossible and did it in the end. I need to try this and fail miserably so I can confirm it's impossible and forget what I just saw.

Even if this wasn't a new trick, it was too cool to not upload
Is it reckless? ✅️
Will it hurt? ✅️
Will it kill you if done wrong?✅️
Does it look cool when you do it?✅️
Yup, this is defintely a Feldspar trick
actually sick as fuck
Bro is truly the main character
feldspar's probably thinking "amateur. wouldve ridden these meteors"
Average Feldespar activities.
Favorite game of all time, never knew this was possible
joseph anderson is crying somewhere
That was the sickiest trick i have seen in a while
i remembering trying to do this and failed and assumed it was impossible
In my first blind playthrough, this is how i got in.
I simply could not figure out the intended way.
… there’s another way?
@@TheAidernator you can wait for it to fall into the black hole and then explore in zero g
@@arowace498Well now I feel stupid, I never explored it because I assumed it was impossible

You know it's going to be epic when it's got Feldspar in the name
Absolutely incredible. My mouth is wide open
The fact that you can do this at all is yet another way you can tell how well made this game is.

I love everything about this.

lore accurate Feldspar average day
It’s moments like these where I wish there was a quick save. Same for the *SPOILERS* Hotshot Achievement
there IS a quicksave, every 22 minutes :)
@@treeunit212 Technically speaking, that's an autosave.

Oh damn. I thought of this, but always assumed that even if you could make the landing, you'd just die.
Nice to see I was wrong.
that's how i got in it too, i was surprised when i knew that there were a "real" way to get in (this way will forever be the real way for me)
The fact I tried this for an hour straight and never managed it, maaaaan it's cool to see it was actually possible haha
Clearly the intended route
Omg that’s wild
Well done!!
Shocked pikachu on my face when i realised what you were gonna do
joseph anderson would be proud
Brilliant
Woow man ❤ thats insane
I figured out slingshots like this before I ever saw it online 😎
holy!
I’ve been hearing people say there is another way to get up there but I’ve never actually seen what it is until now
The way i do it: wait until it falls
So IT IS possible.
Bro i tried to do this 50 times today 🤣
fuck yeah

wow
DID YOU SERIOUSLY OBERTH AROUND THE BLACK HOLE
I actually tried this solution, but couldn't make it work.
Niiiiiiice slide, explorer!!
I reached the Sun Station under 1m10, but your move is smooth... Very good!!
Johannes Kepler should be proud of this!
I tried this with less successful results
