Yeah, me and my brother just got done playing through the game awhile ago, and then like a week later they add a new Easter egg to the game. It feels so bizarre, I even called out that wall fixture thinking it might be something of interest when we were tackling Giant's Deep, which of course it wasn't yet, but that was only a couple weeks before they added it 😂
It did work as intended. If you jump into the black hole at the Ash Twin Project, and go there next loop, you will find the old scoll banana has turned into green mush
It can't bring it because the teleport masks you entering a new Unity level for the Eye of the Universe. It also causes you to spawn a suit if you didn't have one getting onto the vessel
That's interesting, I had been curious about a Suitless Max% run idea as a hypothetical question a while back. Was hypothesizing the idea of max speed ship + eject button to clip through the vessel window for example.
i am honestly shocked you had time to drop the core off and go back for the scroll. Its so anxiety-inducing getting the core, but I guess you have a fair whack of time
It only takes around 3 minutes to reach the Vessel from Ash Twin if you're fast, there is more than enough time for him to get out and back, it's just the combination of the pretty stressful music and the amount of task ahead of you that seems like a lot.
It reminds me of that time when I tried to go inside the ATP's black hole suitless to check if my clone would be suitless too on the next loop but it's too specific for the devs to think about I guess
bruh i didnt even know there is a Steins;Gate Reference and i thought i watched every video there is on this game
they added it relatively recently thats why

It’s a new Easter egg
I have a SG poster right next to an OW poster. This is too funny
it's pretty recent
Safe keeping something and brittle hollow don't really mix up very well 😅
You make a good point
Yeah let's just say on Brittle Hollow, things tend not to stay in one place...
The poles have 100% surface integrity, they never fall into the black hole
Now you just gotta bully Jeffrey Yu into fixing that "bug" in his easter egg.
well that's 4:17 minutes of my life I'm not getting back
Every minute is a minute you're not getting back
@thephoenixsystem6765 but it can be worth the time, not the case.
Well the answer to the title's question is "nothing", actually
So glad I spent 4 minutes learning this
LOST!!! MY PRECIOUS IS LOST!!!
:( yeah that's what i guessed would happen, the eye sequence is a separate scene
:(

Interesting, I didn't know that it would do that for the suit as well

Nomai watching the Hatchling do the thing be like "...what the heck"
WHAT?! Steins;Gate is my #1 favorite anime ever and Outer Wilds is one of my favorite games ever, to see them combined like this is awesome!
I miss this game so much… ;-;
[paste image of monke] where banana
I did the same thing.
Man.
Was really hoping for a gel banana
If you take it into the black hole inside Ash Twin, then come back on the next loop, you get a gel banana. So at least there's that
alright i'mma have to watch steins;gate now
Precious? I heard that somewhere before...
Long storry short/tldr: everything happens, crazyiest ending sequence ever!!
Actual hack game designer (just kidding we love you)
El psy kangaroo
I don’t think it would work but can you put that thing where the warp core is supposed to go
It would say that it's too small (unless they coded in something different)
EL PSY CONGROO!!
Why you didn't put the reference on the Vessel's energy receptor my man
I should have included it in the video, I did try to do that, it just says "it's too small" or something like that
@@justflavio Oh nice, thanks for the followup. I suppose that's a standard phrase for trying to put things in the receptor? Didn't know about that
I didn’t even realize warping there refuels your tank too.
Couldn't you try to put it in, instead of the core?
How is this the first video I see about this Easter egg is this reference new?
Yeah they added it on the new patch
