    I remember back in elementary school when we used a mouse with a rubber ball on a cloth pad and "drawn" with it in MS Paint in Windows 95. The graphics could be used for pixel art. I think they were still Pentium 3 computers. But of course that's prehistoric...I'm a Boomer :)

      As someone who didn't grow up with the ball mouse, I had thought for the longest time that the ball was actually an overcooked egg yolk

    In CSP. The pen tool has different curve settings. Use quadratic bezier and not the spline setting. It's just as good as PS.

    For CSP I adjust the levels and the saturation then just go to Edit, Scroll down to Convert brightness to opacity, to remove everything except the black line art.

    Drawing with a mouse can be difficult (or easy, depending on the difficulty), and it’s cool that you are one of the some who can finish it. Cool artwork!

    Honestly a lot of people complain about not having the resources like a drawing tablet or a ipad and I also used to complain abt that a lot, but I think it doesn't really matter when you don't have those stuff when it comes to digital art. I myself have been drawing for a long time with a mouse. At the start, it used to be difficult but now it's not as much. Although if you have a slow pc like me, programs like krita don't run well on pc. But one of my favourite mouse friendly programs got to be fire alpaca! It doesn't lag at all but it mostly depends on your canvas size. And the best of all? The fact it runs properly on older computers!
    I learned that to draw well on pc, all you need is a art program which has the *stabilizer* feature, and the control of your mouse. I used to do the lineart process as shown in this video with paint tool sai, (the lining feature for paint tool sai is the best! and you can easily change the thickness of the lines pretty well!) but then I decided to switch to trying to draw by myself since the process for that is kind of boring imo, and I've grown to improve a lot.
    drawing with a mouse is doable, all you need is the right programs and overtime practice!

    doing line art/ sketch using a mouse is doable, but it does take some time to get used to it. I draw in PS using mouse and i think its fine, nice video, it gave me another option on how to draw stuff

    Look, i have drawn using a mouse for a year when i first started my art journey, it can work, but Drawing tablets help you a lot, and there are a lot of cheap ones, i remember buying my first Wacom intous tablet 3 years ago it was something like 70 dollars, if you can afford that or even maybe saving up money for it, Please please do it!, you dont need professional tools at all, ALWAYS REMEMBER that you can always improve your skills even by just drawing on a sketch book with just a pencil, you can draw with a mouse, but please dont do it it will take you 3x the time it need to finish the drawing, please just save up even 5 dollars a week and get one.

    Nice vid but, cheap pen tablet exist. And for digital artist pen tablet helps like A LOT and make things easier.
    The cheapest one I know is Huion h420 or Goojodoq 8 inch drawing tablet. They're just around $25 usd

    Hii i really wanna learn digital art but my mom won't enroll me to a art school and I'm having a hard time to follow tutorials because maybe their too fast or too hard to follow so ill ask is your class101 free for everyone or do I have to pay for it?

    • @samijen
      @samijen  10 днів тому

      Have to pay for it, sorry ^^; But it’s subscription based so you can watch many classes with that one subscription. If that’s still too much, I’m sure UA-cam has some good tutorials?

    Why though, you can get a used tablet for 20 dollars, anything is better than a mouse

    • @samijen
      @samijen  20 днів тому

      Some people simply cannot afford to fish out 20$ for a tablet. I just want to share an alternative on digital art with what people have on hand ^^

    • @Scatty666
      @Scatty666 19 днів тому

      @@samijen sure, just saying that they can cost as little as a mouse, and you don’t need to buy a top of the line one for 100s of dollars

      I'm in a situation where buying even the cheapest tablet could eat up most or even all of my wallet. As someone that wants to return to art, get better, switch to digital, and even make money from it, this helps. Drawing with a mouse is not that pleasant for me but this video helps ease it.

      That's really sweet of you. What kind is it and was it good? I know the moment I can even afford something I'd still want it cheap but I gotta know other details/benefits to look for.
