It's so refreshing to hear artists' first experience in the art market. They make it sound so easy when it comes to making merch (sticker, charms, acrylics etc.) I'm a shy little bug who can't even imagine doing anything like this :,) but this is super motivating! Thank you for sharing your first experience and I'm glad you had a great time!
Glad to hear you had such a good time at your first art fair Shar, despite all the struggles and stress that came with it. Remember to not push yourself too hard! Have a lovely Summer! 🐸 💚
I am a young photographer myself. I have only been in one exhibit and have done small favors for friends. Seeing you work so hard at this art market is so inspiring to me, and has helped me learn what I need to do if I ever do one. Thank you and great job!
HAHAHHA thank you so much!! i realized i didnt have enough footage of the market while i was editing, so i ended up just taking a webcam vid 😭 hopefully next time better prepared and less scrunkly ✌️👍

A few tips about Silhouette and cutting paper: * You can use it to crease the paper, though you might need to put it upside down * You can cut so much with it, even some types of plastic * It's very important to keep the base sticky, so reapplying the glue is essential. Though, I seen that taping the edges also works * It's important to check if the registration marks are straight, or else the cut will go wrong. You can realign them by cutting the paper. Also, avoid leaving anything on top of the printer because it can make the print unaligned * You can very easily DIY a base by using Acetate plastic (I think it spells like that), permanent pens and glue. * There are places that sells paper in bulk * Avoid using the machine without noise canceling headphones, else they will give you headaches Also, and this one if for funsies, you can find models that you can assemble with paper.
