"If the internet was around when I was younger I would of definitely benefitted from your channel!" You know that sounds like the opposite of what he told in the video? It sounds like you are blaming in a way the fact that there was no internet back then. Its a valid point but still it shows your mentality to an extent. I am only saying that not to be nagative but to point out how important is to actually self reflect after watching videos and not blindly consuming content.

i think that sharing a bit about your background when someone else asks could make you seem a stronger individual, but the turning point where it makes you seem weaker is when you constantly tell people regarldes if they want to know or not

Agree. I don’t think it’s inherently wrong to even tell a woman some vulnerability or fear of yours but when you make that your theme in life as I have, that’s when you run into a problem and because of that I’m labeled the weak one. And I’m the oldest. I never asked for these problems and much of it is down to genetics but that might as well not matter because like this guy said no one cares about you. I might as well say how I am not responsible for being born lol. Also, seek professional help and just don’t tell a woman about your issues unless it’s in passing like how your drive was from the grocery store and move on to something else

One of the best videos I've ever seen.
Remember guys, when they say "tell me about your problems, I really care" they're not trying to trick you, they honestly don't know what their emotional reaction will be. So they can seem very convincing. And if you make a mistake and fall for it, don't feel betrayed by their reaction, they didn't know either.

Funny thing is they cant rationalise why they freak out when they hear a man talk abt his problems to them. They are creatures mostly driven by instinct and constantly screening men for weakness which repels them.

From my experience, and to offer some context: It's ok to mention your experiences, perhaps a current bump or a challenge that you are working on. So long as it has an undertone that you are simply finding solutions, carrying on and staying the course.

I actually experienced this when I was 16, there was this girl I liked and I was going through things at the time. I kept hearing how girls like it when a man is vulnerable, I didn’t want to talk about what I was going through but I thought “there’s no harm in telling her what I’m going through”. Anyway, once I told her my struggles, she got mad at me stopped speaking to me and blocked me from everything. I’m 22 now and I’m glad I learned my lesson as a teen. I wasn’t raised in a single mother household thankfully, I just thought women like a vulnerable man seeing as how they always say “men should be more emotional”

I have a lot of brothers. They all chose to live with our mother, I chose my father.
They have obnoxious victim mentality’s. If I ever talk about self improvement they have some excuse. Their childhood was hard so that’s why they can’t get over their problems 17 years later.
I’ve told them to get real. We all had to deal with shit sandwiches. It comes down to whether or not you take responsibility.
My father, he genuinely had a hard life. Here is the thing. I never heard it from him. I heard stories from my aunt, my cousins about his early life.
So I fully understand what you’re saying here george. It helps me understand why my brothers are infuriating to speak to.
I think from now on, I’m going to ask them how they’re gonna solve their problem. And if they give me an answer or not drop the subject.

This is gold. Everytime I share my issues with girls I'm dating everything goes south really fast. So dumb but reality is what it is, no more showing weakness in front of girls. Mum and dad is okay occasionally but noone else. Unfortunately I've lost really nice girls through being ''real'' and vulnerable. I'm succesful in every other area in life but it doesn't matter if you show weakness, girls walk away quickly even if they are way below you financially, looks and everything. Strange world but you have to adapt

As a female, I TOTALLY AGREE. I listen to myself and even hear the same spill with my female friends. I think men can be vulnerable, BUT they have to come with a solution to whatever gripe they have toward life. If not, I'm listening to a female and I can't see the distinction between us. Sad, but true. Men and women have to be different or we're all mashed into something "other" that doesn't function well with each other.

But most times it's not that our Dad's were weak., Cos if they were our mothers wouldn't have let'em mate
But it's jxt that they didn't know how to handle their newly introduced liberal Feminism women
As they were instantly degraded or dethroned by their also allowed to Work (feminism agenda) women/wife's during their most difficult times as Dad's., Entrepreneur or business men or workers (civil servants)
Remember women will always (most of the time) work to seize power and control from their man if give the slightest of chance thinking that is what theywant thereby destroying their husbands in the process and making him feel useless (Emasculation)
That will result to the man's low belief in himself as he begins to see and think he is less of a man during this times ., his wife/woman immediately picks this up and immediately losses respect for him. (Weak)

Weak dad/strong mum always does that, in my experience. And no, women do not only mate with strong males ... often they have no choice and go with whatever is available. If it were a primitive society, a strong man would have a large harem of women wanting his children, but in modern society it is restricted to 1 each. This results in weak men getting caught by strong women, esp in modern society. The reproductive instinct is too strong.

Invulnerable people aren't victims. Being vulnerable allows others to affect you, which makes you weak and a victim of circumstances.
You might even BE a victim of circumstances, but you can't admit it, because that gives others control over you: you are vulnerable to their behaviors or their actions. I.e., you're NOT the man, NOT a G, not in charge of your life.

What i mean by that is that my father was always whining to me as a kid about how bad his marriage is going, how bad my mother is, how he struggles with this, with that etc. while my mother basicly never complained about anything and said the problems of them is none of my business. I must admit, that later on i grew up to become a mamas boy. I often feel vulnerable and tend to pity myself and whine a lot about situations i inflicted on me by myself to my mom. This has to stop.

You're conflating being vulnerable and being weak or playing the victim. I don't think those are necessarily the same thing even though they often do come together and there's some degree of overlap.
I think it's a fact of life that everyone is vulnerable and everyone can be hurt and experiences pain in one way or another. That doesn't mean one has to play the victim though.
Something like making youtube videos or starting a business also is 'making yourself vulnerable' since you're putting yourself out there and opening yourself up to attack and ridicule. If you then play the victim and cry about it when someone criticizes you then that's a very different story though.
Anyways, I liked the video. It made me notice that I'm still holding on to a lot of victimhood mentality myself and is inspiring me to want to eradicate that shit.
    Cheers man

As long as you fix your problem or you share a little secret about something you got over and became stronger after it, i see no issue in being honest. After all, it's all about being strong and becoming someone stronger, learning from the past. And if someone take you for granted because of it, it's not your problem. Little people realize how hard it is to find someone trustworthy and honest.

What you should never do is waste time on anyone, woman or otherwise, who is so disinterested and uninvested in you and your inner workings and journey through life (yes including your struggles, failures, and fears) that the only way you can co-exist with them is by becoming an unfeeling automaton always concerned about their "perception of your weakness". If a woman isn't part of your solution, she's part of your problem. Being with women that way is pyrrhic victory; it costs too much. It is not being successful with women it's being a simp for women. How is being a strong man finding a way to stay in the good graces of a worthless taker instead of telling her to hit the road? She should be interested in helping you be a better man so you can help her be a better woman and you can become stronger as a unit. Not trying to scare you into handing over your right to define yourself.

I do admit tho I'm from a single mother household and I've dimished the victim mentality almost to none since my Older brother back In those days (which he still is till this day) complaining and being a victim because of our mom, that being said, I still do this with men, like my best friend who is an actual Masculine Man made me realize how retarded my argument was for him to share his problems with me or else I wont understand- but in reality I was so soacked up in my own problems (lol I really don't mean to be that guy) that I couldn't realize how he has problems as well, like everyone else. Thanks for this Video George, I really do appreciate your work.

I'm 60 years old and a strong male (dead/absent parents). I am fair-minded by nature, I treat everybody equal, think that everyone has the same innate ability to think and make decisions. All my life I have treated and talked to girls/women as if they were same as men in thinking. As you would guess, I did not have great results with women ... I reached the point where I almost gave up dealing with women, thinking i just don't understand women. This video by George, that one sentence "Think of all/any woman as a 10 year old girl" - that clarified everything for me. I now understand women better and it all fits together now. I have started using this approach with my wife in the past week and noticed it works great! Less arguments. I feel less frustrated and she seems happier, following me like a puppy. I wish I had this insight when I was a teenager and saved myself a lifetime of frustration! Thank you George.

Great video George, what do you think about men who put others down for the sake of showing dominance. There been lots of anecdotal posts studies on reddit showing bullies have multiple sexual partners even though those men are dramatic/hysterical as women, you think there's an explanation for that?

  • @alyssonj
    @alyssonj 11 місяців тому +1

That's not vulnerability, it's drama. It might be at the same spectrum, but it's in the extreme edge of that line. You don't want women like that in your life, it's dangerous, it's unhealthy, you have to put them in their place for them to show respect. Respect can't be one sided, ever. You can be vulnerable, just don't be a drama queen, whining a lot and always, no one can stand that, not even men, imagine women. It's common sense - which, yes, it's not that common nowadays.
