    Experience is the best way to learn. I'm a pilot, and the only way you'll become a good pilot is by going through emergencies or urgencies. You should look at yourself as a piece of metal, and as you go through these things, you are being forged into a man. Each insult is a hammer strike, each stressful situation is being heated in the fire, and each self-reflection is being quenched in water.

      @@Bahrtinho I’m assuming the clip in the beginning was staged for multiple reasons, it’s good content, but probably not a real date. Still good example to transition to the topic. Date videos are a little tricky cuz if it’s a real date, you’ll often run into someone who wouldn’t be ok with their date being recorded and you’ll also get a bias of only seeing the type of girls that will and fake videos (which isn’t always bad)

    I have a very relatable experience. I had graduated from the University of Nebraska and was traveling the country interviewing for a high tech engineering job. Every place I went they would joke about me being from Nebraska where there must be only farmers and cows. At the beginning I was getting offended and wasn't sure how to respond. I later realized this kind of joking was going on wherever I went. I decided next time I'd play along. Next interview someone asked how we get around since we don't have cars, roads or traffic lights. I told him "camels...we all ride camels and they only need a pint of water every few hundred miles". That got a laugh and by the end of the interview it's like we were best buddies and I ended up getting a dozen job offers from all over the country. Great advice.

    This is why women love men that can banter. When a woman tests a man with an insult, she is seeing if he is going to show weakness by blowing up at her, getting overly emotional, OR respond with humour and playfulness, which creates the opportunity to seduce her.

I automatically assumed that you accepted the consequences of making homo jokes with a random stranger and that the girl next to you would freak out, but what I didn’t expect was that she actually tried to help you out of that situation even if you had it under control. I feel like girls always run away and avoid any kind of direct conflict, but this girl did not. Maybe because she couldn’t actually get out of the car or because she really liked you for some reason, but regardless, insane intro.

      @@TonyEbukaSG he was talking about confidence and how if you've EVER done something regrettable in life (his example was if you ever sucked a dick) then you're forever labeled by that one incident and you'll "flinch" every time someone brings it up and you can't ever have confidence. Nah, chicks do this all the time, with regards to fucked up sex acts. Which may be sociopathic sometimes idk. But moreso in a healthier sense, people can absolutely evolve over time and be drastically different than their past self, and so the "flinch" concept is true only if the mistake is fresh, or you havent genuinely had an internal transformation. Don't want people to think theres no hope, you can literally reinvent yourself in life, if you TRULY want to. Our brains have a quality called "plasticity" and although old habits die hard, they can be diminished signifcantly and new thought habits can always be formed until the day you die js

    I always felt some weakness in people when they reacted aggressively to provocation. Although on the one hand they do everything right as if they don't like it and put you in your place. But there is an insecurity sitting inside them becuse of fear. So a person kinda defends his boundaries but he does it because he is afraid that his boundaries will be trespassing because he takes opponent and his opinion too seriously.

    • @koray6261
      @koray6261 Рік тому +10

      For the same reason it rather takes more effort to provoke real deals than some random insecure Joe. If someone picking it up on a insecure weakling, the thought process going to be like “Why do he picked up on me among all the people. Do I look like a loser that would put up with this shit! Do I look easy and weak! MUST PROVE MYSELF TO THEM AND ANYONE SEEING THIS TO BE WRONG!” Then you got that screaming manchild trembling in histeria and hype and trying to prove themself to be the wrong guy to mess with by creating awkward scenes.
      It is quite opposite with confident individuals with no self doubt. Like the past world heawyweight champion Vitaly Klitschko and Mike Tyson have been picked up by random ass people quite a lot of the time but for the most part just told them to back off and rarely get physical. They already know they are tough and so does everyone else. If they went into physical, it is for safety and making it stop after exhausting other options. Not to putting up a show. They got nothing to prove to themself or anyone else. They just know it, the whole world is.

    • @L6FT
      @L6FT 7 місяців тому

      Anger stems from boundaries being breached. Getting to the root cause of why we feel this way is exposing our vulnerability to ourselves, and is helpful. Once we acknowledge the feeling and transgression we can choose how to react. We must always acknowledge the feeling within ourselves.
      Using anger constructively means saying to oneself, that was not ok, I deserve better. From there on carry oneself with dignity. Reacting emotionally is undignified, reflecting then reacting confidently is dignified. Adresse the deeper wound.

    If you ever wonder if the girl is into you, then just grab her hand and hold it a little.
    Does she cuddle your hand? Does she stroke it? If you want to be really smooth about it, then do it the second you shake hands with her. Instead of letting go at once, just keep holding it for a little longer and see what she does. Does she pat your hand, cuddle it a little, or put her other hand on it? Well... Then she wants to go home with you. :) If she pulls the hand away quickly, then just find another girl. Ez.
    Edit: If you didn't shake her hand to begin with, or forgot this thing, then whenever you plan to go anywhere, like the bar, or to look at the view, then _grab her hand_ and tell her that you want to go to the bar, to see the view, or whatever. If she comes with you, you know you already won.

A few people probably know the look of "I am calmly contemplating knocking you the fuck out/putting you out of your missery" look. If you finish that with a joke, you can be sure you won't get shit from that person again,but the joke part isn't necessary. But you need to hold that stare till you see them withering or caving in.

    God may bless you, I have been pseudo bullied practically my whole life because people tried to bully me but I manage to laugh at me so what happen next is that I have the bulliers being my friends since I manage right jokes. But the thing is that little times I tried to return the jokes so maybe it was not like ragging out but that compounded in my hearth so when my family or something gave me a critic I managed that really bad, it's funny because I lived with 3 construction guys and on that time I had a big confussion for pornography due I had an addiction to that shit and that turned me like not gay but trying stuff but when they did jokes I was so secure about me that I laugh at myself or returned in a funny way the joke and those people huge respect for them because they also respected me and they helped me when I was a foreign there, then I met Christ to years ago and I found my true identity so I actually do gay jokes and is funny because I have kinda a white flag to do it so is pretty awesome to say really tough jokes about gay to gay people and everythings it's okey xd. But yeah like the point is not just laugh at yourself also try to return the joke, not agressively but with perspicacity like really a funny joke and that's how by accident you turned a comedian.
    I think other stuff that you can do is expose yourself to social environments where people can laugh or give critcics to you and try to convert everything to a really funny comment never reacting. That's how for example just right now in a restaurant the workers tried to steal a part of the meal of my mom and act like nothing happened, I yeah maybe got angry but I didn't expressed my rage just feel it and then try to manage the situation saying like "Oh so I have to go to the mental clinic because maybe I am allucinating and imagine that is less food", that comment cooled the situation and then they were like "okey let's talk to the boss to change the meal" and in effect they give us the correct portion. And then I was like "yeah sorry for the stress of situation", and the employees were like "oh no no, is not your fault", then which fault was, funny enough but I recognize that I acted a little bit with histeria. Sorry for the long text, I don't have any man space to give my views on this and your content have been pretty revealing, thank you so much for helping us in becoming better mens. The part about working men making racist and gay jokes are valid, but a huge HR issue. Its kinda ironic because the person who ends up reporting them has every legal right to do so, but missed the chance to bond amongst coworkers. The racism written all over the bathroom stalls is actually what binds them in brotherhood across different cultures.

    • @gracefool

      Understand that HR is mostly females... They're enabled by tyrants at the top level who don't want brotherhood, they want men to stay weak so they can have all the power.

    I live in the UK.
    The part about violence whether your used to it or not... is being willing to go there with some guys....
    As no amount of verbal stand up for yourself of stoic will deter some guys......
    Now if your 6'4 kind of built or got good physique, then verbal may work
    But if your short say 5'6 .. then it maybe that you need to be willing to fight while verbalising & trying to get your respect
    Again how you look as am individual ie if you look SIMPLE or got no look about yourself in your eyes.. that could mean a person looking at that guy would not be taking serious, so again, sometimes dependant on the other guy...if he can see your willing to get into a physical he will kind of ignore the perception of that guy being simple & either apologise, keep quiet, back off or show of hands to say...cool.
    So this HOST on this video is NOT QUITE RIGHT ON THAT EXPLANATION

    • @gracefool
      @gracefool Рік тому +2

      It depends on the context. If you're just on the streets, in a bar etc, who cares about having the respect of some punk? If you have self-respect, you don't need *everyone* to respect you.
      If you're working with them it's complicated, either that guy has a personal problem and others will stand up for you if you defend yourself physically, or the others don't want you around for some reason, they don't trust you...

    These days with an ever growing number of genders being created to try and redefine the sex and core identify of a man, more videos like this are desperately needed. It’s this very lack of ability to understand and deal with stress/bullying/confidence testing that has resulted in the deprecating society (at least in US) that we now have. Appreciate you and your insight! It will help turn things around 🫡

    Your banter rings true, it's how vikings would banter. The viking poet was called a Skald. It's not far removed from the English world Scold. I think you know where I'm getting with this. ;) A good skald would be able to honour the king rightly, and dishonour the enemy so much so that they'd lose their temper and attack first, which would always put them at a disadvantage.

    Perfect right around the 15-minute mark he states that racism is alive and well and then turns around and says that it was all in good humour and everybody became really good friends and in that construction environment you had to grow thick skin. This gives me hope for the younger generation. Back in the 80s I I kid you not the racism card wasn't thrown around and like 90% of most people got along because of humor. Back then just like now there's a small percentage of a-holes that are the outliers

      One thing to help with being talked over is ALWAYS finish your sentence. Someone interrupting you might have something better to say, but probably not; but if you immediately stop talking and listen to them, you’re handing over all the power in the conversation 🙃 So you don’t have to blaze forward and finish your paragraph/whole argument, but at least finish your sentence/current thought and then listen to what others are contributing to the conversation 😎

      @@christopherrussell6055 Dude that shit works when youre much younger then the guys "bullying" you. I had someone once who made a joke like that. I stood up, went right in front of him and stared in his eyes. I told him if he dares to call me again a son of a bitch I will slash open his neck and let him slowly suffocate in his own blood. In front of every body.
      No body ever once disrespected me after that incident. Not even my boss. I know it is psychotic and I cant imagine doing that. But you need to set boundaries otherwise those fat joes wont stop that shit. Were grown up men not some high school kids who try to joke about everything there is to feel superior
